Yep. It’s scary how common they are. One of my friends workplaces had the police turn up as it was found a father was selling pictures of his pre-pubescent daughter to another colleague. I mean, the fact this even came up in a real life situation?! They obviously had some sort of conversation... it’s not like they were just two strangers on some weird Internet forum. They were work colleagues. This world. It actually terrifies me.

Once upon a time, I was in a motorcyle group that was sheltering a pedophile (with MORE pending charges) because he sold the guys cheap motorcyles and motorcyle parts. He was connected to a group of men who were taking provocative pictures of their teenage daughters and sharing them with other men in the Moto groups. I blasted him out and got banned by the admins. He’s in jail now I believe.

My daughter is at this age. She won’t even let me take a normal picture of her out and about in every day life (preteen years are dramatic y’all). My other friends with kids the same age say it’s similar for them. I have no clue what level of coercion or trickier he had to do to get a picture of his kid this way, but I can guarantee it is not on the level and his daughter is not ok with it. So gross.
