Damn. Good points on experiences. I'd go F for hiker (moralistic vegan) and T for banker (logic). I'm an ENTP as well.

Sure, makes sense. I'm using a shotgun approach, throwing everything that could be possible. Pan for gold, toss the rest. I'm male; perhaps I'm taking a male approach. Happy to contribute.

I would also like to know their Myers-Briggs types. I could help you choose based upon cognitive stack compatibility. Hiking - Sensing (Se) - external experiences Super left wing? You probably choose emotionally. That's fine. I choose logically. Here's some logical things to consider: Build a life vs Given a life. Partner vs Companion. Love vs Adoration. Meaning vs Money. Joy vs Comfort. Friendship vs Confidant. Loyalty vs Dependence. Sharing vs Servicing. Dreams vs Reality. Earn vs Have. Deserve vs Receive. 1 is young. Flight risk. 7 year itch. 2 is old. He's done with dating. Super socially left: * Moralistic * Fatalistic * Passionate * Stubborn * Independent * Frustrat…

It's reasonable to identify an issue, address it, and then move on. That's healthy. At the end of the day, you're the only one that can make the call as to if it's working for you or not. The abuse must cross your personal internal metric. Everyone has a different line. People who say "drop that deadbeat, he abused you!" are not seeing the color of the situation, and are unwittingly offering shitty overly simplistic advice. Yes, abuse is bad. But relationships are about give/take/forgive/address…

I don’t have sex with them, mostly because the “relationship” fizzles out way before that point lol. Perhaps it's not that they are emotionally unavailable but instead that you fail to generate enough attraction.

You're prioritizing his perception of you "I want him to know that I pay attention" Unfortunately, you're maintaining his perception of you, but disregarding his experience of you. Essentially you're ALSO saying: "your statement was unnecessary, again" - you're giving a negative response to his bid for attention. Every time he says something, you should respond with a "move towards" response to his bid and show genuine appreciation. Every time. "I don't like onions on my sandwiches" -> "Great, I…

Well, that's an oversimplification. I told her a number of stories, I KINO'd, I changed bars, I escalated, I offered her to come to my place for weed and then escalated into sex. I removed the minutia for the benefit of pacing. Perhaps you're right. Perhaps she was YES all along. It didn't feel that way to me, hence why I'm proud of it. But you're right about 1 thing, we really connected. It was actually a great connection that I'm fond of.

Once you get to the point where she's making the yes/no decision, the seduction has already taken place. If she's not seduced (enough) yet, she says no and she goes home.

Here are optional discussion points: Why do the men in /r/seduction feel the need to defend low value jobs instead of pushing themselves to be better? (A low value job mostly defined by lack of passion and/or low income). Why do most men in society seem to "not have their shit together" in their lives? What are ways that men can display their SMV in 5 minutes (because bars are distracting)

I've come on TRP very sparingly, and I always thought it was about male empowerment. Me as well. I advocate for that aspect of it when challenged. Perhaps my faith has been misplaced. It's one thing to wingman her because you're trying to earn points to fuck her. It's another thing to wingman her because you're trying to help your friend get laid. Right. And none of the comments seem to either A) understand the difference of B) inquire about my motives to make a fair/logical conclusion. Instead,…

So the point of this post is not to have any real discussion. It is just you saying "Hey I went out the other night, and all other men are losers." The point of this post is that both her and I interpreted men's value to be low.

I'm disappointed by the lack of good discussion in this subreddit. A discussion that is intended to center on the lack of high value men has devolved into sexist comments about her sexual promiscuity and thus value. It's as if they refuse to accept that men are low SMV and instead assume that the men are in fact high SMV and can smell her low SMV a mile away (and thus are disinterested) It's as if her failure to find a great man is because she sucks, instead of there being a lack of great men. You are an idiot. Thanks. this is an example of you being a beta orbiter I'm disappointed that you interpreted the story this way. This chick is probably not even that hot, if you aren't making your entire evening and life situation up, which I suspect The discussion is on low SMV of men in bars. Your negative judgments on the SMV of the woman are more telling of your lens than of the actual story.

Fucking randoms from a bar monthly makes her the town bike. Also vastly increases her chances of carrying an STD which contributes to her being of lower value. Just a thought. Value is a perception. The men at the bar could not perceive this. It's evident to you (because I told you). It's unrelated to our evening.

You have a "Hot" girl who is only capable of going to a bar and finding raw sex. She has been unable of finding any meaningful deep attraction when she goes out. In order to find deep attraction she requires and enlists help for her to find it rather than actively being able to pursue the goal herself. weasel words like "sexual appetite" + the vast amount of replies and defense you muster for that supposedly just a friend girl. You are either fabulously gay, have oneitis or are female. Off-base and judgmental. Notch count. Number. Different dicks she had in her. Yes that has a severe effect on her SMV. It is so important that women will constantly lie about it. It's a number that wasn't discussed publicly. The men in the bar had no ability to read this number.

No wonder a slut which has one night stands once a month can't land someone of value. No men would know this about her. This data point that you see (because I told you) which gives you this conclusion is hidden from others. So therefore your conclusion (anyone can see she's a slut) is blatantly false. A high value woman wouldn't need throwaway fucks. That's like saying "A great programmer doesn't need pillows." It's completely nonsensical and comparing two unrelated things. A woman's SMV isn't …

What suggests that she's the town bicycle? Also, what would make it "so obvious that anyone could see"?
/r/TheRedPill08/01/15 09:36 PM

A number of reasons. The night we went out together for pickup, I scored 100% on my approaches. I approached 2 women that night. (Because I was focusing on helping my female friend, mostly). I got 1 number (with a date scheduled for today) and I fucked the other girl that night. So for me, it's better to have an attractive female wingwoman than it is to fuck her. It's better to use a fish as bait to acquire 100 fishes, than it is to eat that 1 fish 1 time.

A woman's SMV is front-loaded and largely visual. Also, I find it strange that a person on the internet would argue that a person whom he has never met is low or high value. I know her and I'm establishing (for sake of this discussion) that she is high value. You're welcome to question my value statements, but arguing that she's low value is an argument that will never be settled and adds no value to this discussion. That's a fair point. It's also something that I've not necessarily encountered before. I don't think it's a black/white issue. I'm a high value man and I was at that bar. So it does exist. I agree that the percentage of people there that are high value is low, but non-zero.

Why does all this matter? Your friend has a lot of expectations for a one night stand. A woman's attraction to a man is 80% based on his life choices. I learned that from /r/TheRedPill without looking beyond the surface It's logistically impossible to learn enough of a person to really know for sure. This subreddit is about improving yourself. (Technically improving your ability to seduce women). The first step in improving yourself is to remove the emotion behind "who you are." Go do something with your life and have some balls. I agree. We need to pin that at the top of this subreddit. When I started pickup, I always thought it was some trick to get women into you. I try to get a woman they want to be friends or I'm rejected I've been rejected 1000x more times than accepted. I've come to realize that it's not a rejection of me as a person. It could be that you two are just not compatible. I learned the hard lesson that some women will NEVER fit with me (no matter how hot they are and how much I want to sex them). It could be because they don't know you yet. They have no way to really know you.

It works within an appropriate context. You have to raise your value by connecting with her friends or having friends of value with you. Also, I let my initial impressions be very strong (leader of men: buying shots for group) (wealth: clothing+shots) (preselected by women: having a hot wingwoman) (confidence: seamlessly connected into group) Then, you are completely unapologetic about your intent. Just be factual about your interest.

It becomes a cycle because you're afraid of doing it, so you do it. I find that this happens when I think about things with my brain rather than my body. If I focus my mental energy completely on the woman, things tend to just naturally work out. If I THINK about getting an erection (or think about the situa…

its blatantly obvious to anyone over monkey level intelligence that she baited him into saying everything. Perhaps this is more true of a statement than you realize. It's my opinion that a maybe a monkey would say this. If you think you have the whole story, you most definitely do not. Thanks for citing that. I read something about this recently. It's very interesting. I heard on NPR news (sorry for lack of citation) that over the last 80 years, students were tracked through their education. Across the board, women tend to do better than men. The gap of grades grows over time. They attributed this to the way that boys approach the world. Boys do better at tests (short bursts of attention/effort) whereas women do better at actually learning the material. The conclusion of the s…

I don't think the goal is (or should be) the same pay. Income should be an accurate measure of value. Feminists claim (maybe correctly or incorrectly, who really knows) that income is not an accurate measure of value. Instead, they claim that women have more (or at least equal) value and are unfairly paid less just because they are a woman. Feminists believe that men and women are of equal skill and the pay gap is due to sexism. TRP believe that the pay gap is due to a skill/experience gap and t…

Be wary of group think. It's human instinct to label people and eject them from the group. People conform so as to not be ejected from the group (and thus die).

It's bluepill to suggest that labels are a weak way to describe a person? So it's "macho" and "red pill" to boil people down to 1 word label and bucket/categorize/generalize them? That's like saying Obama is just black. That's like saying she's just a hippie/feminist/nerd/etc. That's like saying because she's upset about the stats suggesting wage gaps, she's not worth dating. Better for whom? Society is coming closer to a gender neutral balance. The pay gap is closing and awareness is increasing. For example, gays are accepted in society (in general) instead of rejected. Things have not improved for family-minded males. This has not been my experience. Sure, girls that are "Tens" are having a ton of fun being the center of attention, though for every one of them there are many other women who would prefer to find something long term. No one said that, nor did OP imply it. You're right. He didn't imply it. He outright stated it. The words "confirming her whorish tendencies by banging every dude in sight" Without any additional information about her personality. Based solely on the fact that she had sex and he didn't. He called her a whore. A whore is a negative and gender specific statement. Negative statements based primarily on gender are sexist. This is called slut shaming. I view myself as an Alpha male and pro-man, but let me try to share an opposing view. What if it's true that historically men have given women a bad wrap in psychological/biological science? If that's the case, then what these women are trying to do will help bring truth to the science. It would in effect clear up the bad science and help us understand our world a little better. With that said, I've not read the article, nor read the science. The truth is in the details. I feel like I have to pi…

Hate to say this, but your reply seems very sexist. You're making blanket statements about each gender that are not really defensible, provable, etc. Maybe I'm off base here, but I'm getting the read that you hate women. Sure, some women are borderline crazy. But not all. TRP is pro-men, not necessarily anti-women. Essentially you've stated that wise men want to abort, but the selfish woman wants attention and instant gratification. This just doesn't jibe with my worldview. Sure it happens, but …

Look at the equation a different way. I pulled 30k out of my house equity at a cost of $200/mo over 30 years. I made the decision that Bitcoins will likely go up over the next 30 years, probably either a bubble (humans are prone to bubble/sheep mentality) or long term value (it actually becomes a currency). If it doesn't, then I just have to pay an extra 200/mo on my house, no big deal. But I'm pretty sure 30 years is enough time for something positive or negative to happen. If I lose the money,…

The message was: "Leverage debt to become free." The message was not: "We can all get rich following my path. Everyone buy Bitcoins!!!" I've not launched the ATM's yet. I'm basing that information on what the Vancouver ATM does. If bafflingly stupid == rich. I'll gladly shoulder that label.

The dollar bill has lost a significant amount of value over the last 30 years. I heard on NPR news today that a house worth 30k in 1970 is now worth 300k, but that's only a .7% increase in value when inflation is accounted for. TLDR: Houses don't go up in value. The dollar loses buying power due to quantum easing. EDIT: My numbers are pretty random and made up. I don't remember the exact numbers because I was driving. Please be gentle on the specifics.

True. No doubt. Goes without saying. After you have your emergency fund (3-6mo), saving is a losing proposition. We have a fiat-debt-based currency. At 3 - 6% inflation, saving cash is pretty expensive. Investing (having your cash make cash, hopefully at least 3-6% return) is better for a long term strategy.

If Mtgox went down. I didn't "get fucked by them". I chose to put my money there, so I bear the responsibility. The bubble didn't happen to me. I was present for 3 bubbles and traded during the bubbles. I am responsible for my decisions. Nothing happens to me, I make things happen. If I lost the money, it wasn't because of the bubble, it was because of decisions that I made myself. NOTE: I didn't lose the money. I'm talking about the strategy of thinking of a Man vs a boy.

Ok sure. Call it what you will. I gamble every day by getting out of bed that I won't be hit by a meteor. I gamble every day that there won't be a biological terrorist attack in Seattle. I gamble that gas will be available at the gas station and that water will come out of the pipes. Some things are outside of your control, and that's ok. I disagree heartily. I'm concerned that your point of view is not something I'll be able to change, as 'perception of money' is a deeply engrained emotion for most people. Be careful about demonizing things you can't have (If I can't do/have it, it must not be worth having!). This is called Cognitive Dissonance Money is freedom. Let me give you an example to illustrate this. As I become more successful, I have more free time. Is this true for you? I scrimped and saved for $20k and bought a crapp…

You can't be everything to everyone all the time. You have to choose to be "nice" or to be "fun" without really knowing what the girl is into. If she's not into "nice" right now, then you lose (and vice-versa). This is just another example of an article that's complaining about JBY. Should ugly girls do a posting whining about how men only want to fuck them when they are drunk? It's the same thing. Women only go for nice guys when they are drunk past the wall.

Let me take a moment to break from tradition. I lurk quite a bit. (Imma break the 4th wall and say: downvotes inc!) I think that this article (and this forum) is a little whiny. Good guys aren't finding success with women and they are looking for someone to blame. It's easy to settle into the mindset that the problem is external. The fox and the grapes comes to mind Example: Guy takes girl on date and blathers about his job (women like men with jobs, right?). She's utterly bored. No 2nd date. Th…

So you're saying all the women are "taken" but really it's more likely that they either 1) Just say that to you to get your creepy ass away from them. or 2) You ASSUME th…

My posting was excessively snarky/cocky. Let me try to tone it down a bit. I'm not sure who created this system. I've "made it my own" and can only speak to how I understand it; not to how it was originally intended. The purpose of the HB system is to help you succeed with women in the short term. For which it was designed, it fills that role well. You need to know "how to woman feels about herself" when you approach her. My understanding is that the HB system is only for approaching women. It's…

No no no.. This is NOT the point of the system. HB is not "what YOU want out of her"... It's about "how SHE values herself". A HB10 will hate being approached and be extremely bitchy. The goal of the system is to tell you how to approach her. HB10 require indirect cocky funny whereas HB6 can be direct. The goal is to "figure her out" so you can manipulate her. Stop being a little bitch and complaining that "saying that the USA is richer than Africa makes Africans feel bad". Knowledge is an impor…

You're luck to be a man. In the female dating scene, the initial value that they provide is external (What they look like. What they are wearing). That's why they spend a lot of time on their appearance. On one hand, it's easy for them. They have value by just existing, and that value is easy to see from afar. On the other, imagine how crappy it would be to be ugly. You can't change that. Your value is established by biology and you have to compensate for it the rest of your life. Beautiful wome…

Do you feel this pain when you approach guys? No. Why not? Because you are there to have fun and don't care what happens because of it. We all are scared of approaching women because we're attached to the outcome. We want something from them and are trying to perform to "win" an outcome. (AKA: You get laid). My recommendation is to focus on enjoying the conversation instead of worrying about an outcome. Just have fun. Be playful. Expect nothing. Practice that a few times and it gets a lot easier…
