Obviously we don't know you or stbxw, but it sounds like cliche ex behavior, which is usually about doubting the decisions because the other person is slipping away and not about compatibility or relationship health at all. Oh Lord...they will need a storage unit.... I didn't think about getting them out of the house. That is fantastic advice, I personally know several men who were accused of threats

Any advice on how to pick an attorney? I don't know what to ask, how to get a good one I'm not sure what to expect from her, likely a fight. There's a chance it could be mutual and amicable though. I just don't want to get screwed.

Me as well. I'm not normally a spineless pushover, she's worn me down over the years. I think there probably isn't a single person who would call me that, the opposite, I can be too aggressive. Her relentlessly pushing, pushing, pushing me into bad financial decisions until I finally give in. Sometimes I don't even have to give in, she just does it.
