It’s because I have seen how rocky my parents relationship has been. I dont want the person who im seeing to really be exposed to them nor do I want my mom to jump up and down planning a wedding.. I want to be 100% sure of the person im bringing home - someone who I can introduce to everyone

Sometimes people just dont have that chemistry.. its nothing specific but sometimes we can have this amazing attraction over text but in person it changes. No ones fault honestly just not meant for one another…

I really hope this is a joke. I know there are females out there who do want to base something only on these kinds of things.. but I personally could care less about you being a doctor w a car. I want to know what youre like- are you shy or are you extroverted? Do you joke every time you approach someone or not? If you continue basing everything on this materialistic spectrum you might find someone but i dont know if theyre going to be w you for you of your your car

Personally, I hate when men ask if they can have a hug. So many times have weirdos come up to me and asked me that. I infinitely prefer men when theyre about to leave to say “Today has been great thank you so much.. I feel the only way to end today would be with a hug”. I DONT speak for all females but I (23f) love this because they’re being extremely respectful and direct with wanting to break the physical barrier. I have had men just go in for a hug and It hasn’t angered me but I would have li…

Honestly I dont think I’ve put him in scenarios to make him feel jealous.. I could definitely ask but I dont think so

I think its deep insecurity and inexperience. I really tried giving this a chance but

I think its definitely lack of experience.. but also I dont think he should be this extreme. I have approached it and he blames headaches but only after I touch the subject. I get daily migraines and when I am having a rough day I vocalize it because I wouldnt want someone else feeling as if they did something wrong.

Honestly you’re right.. he tends to veer off into one of his moods when something happened thats completely irrelevant. Only will switch out of it if he sees that im not going to deal w it and only then will he try and be nice. Im not his mother to make him feel better about certain irrelevant things

Definitely will go check that book out! And honestly I was also thinking that all this was going down the friendship path. I dont think I can really deal with all of this from someone

I’m trying to better understand the ideology. Because I want it to make sense

A guy once asked me “what would you do with your life if you had zero responsibility and worry” It completely took me by surprise because I like planning out my life so taking away responsibilities and having to worry about money I really had to think. I didnt even realize I wanted to just travel around the world until that moment. And to this day I feel he helped me see a different side of me

Tbh I put my insta handle on tinder just to get more followers. I think at this point if they dont match with you on tinder or start a convo then theyre playing the social media game… if not they could just be busy or maybe they forgot about tinder. If you do want to reach out I would go about it casually. Like “hey- I saw you on tinder and I would like to get to know you better” See if it works because a shoe doesnt fit everyone so to some it will and others it wont

Tbh sounds like a mental thing. A friend of mine would get drunk just to allow herself to do what she wanted. My friend would switch from being normal one moment to screaming at me and telling me how she would attack me. Months later she got diagnosed with BPD which made sense bc she had so many signs and symptoms but was overlooked. Just keep an eye out and be safe tbh.. you can get ass anywhere

How did you cut the convo early? Like what did you say to her? I had a guy who I was talking to who would cut our conversations off very early. At first he never let me know why and it was extremely annoying. It was just irritating because I was willing to stay up late for him but he wouldn’t reciprocate. To me that would be why I would start being cold to someone… like sometimes over text- phone our meanings get lost.

It’s a mental battle - but remembering that saying hi is a massive step. I personally always enjoy when guys say hi and ask me how my day is going. The manner in which you talk is important- make sure not to sound freaky or you will scare them away. I always think casual is best..

Dude this is major freaky stuff… like I personally would be scared beyond my wits to even leave my apartment.

Yes! I think so too! I never went in wanting this to happen and now im at this point where I just want to know. Will I ever take it further? Absolutely not- I love my job and wont risk the biscuit for this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
