I (23f) still live with my parents - its mainly because I have to pay off my student debt and would like to save money… however I would also like to go on dates and talk to people. In college I would have hookups that meant nothing to either party.. but now I would like to step outside the realm of that and potentially have a significant other. However, not only do I live with my parents but I also believe that my family shouldn’t meet my partner until im sure they’re going to be in my life for a long time.. how can I let the other person know and have them respect me regarding this?

Does anyone have any tips and tricks? Or am I asking for something impossible?
