I think people should do what they want with their body hair, and no one should be shamed for it.

You get excited and feel like you're doing awesome and want to make it even more awesome. It's a natural, instinctive reaction. So very guy needs to be told this at least once. I know it's dumb as hell but I am forever grateful to the girl who told me this.

For dudes they could do something to radically change how women look at them. In the old days joining the army was a thing that transformed men. They could also go to a geo where their skin / wealth make them an attractive mate. For women maybe get a job in a heavily male industry (oil pipelines, software) or move somewhere with more men than women (North Dakota, Silicon Valley).

Honestly living an Instagram worthy life is a great goal. The problem for me is that documenting it takes away from the enjoyment. But I think that’s a mindset shift that dudes need to make. And if that instagrammable life is with your bros then that is awesome.

I think men need to invest weeks into the photos. It really needs to be a habit like it is with women where you get your friends to document you looking cool doing cool stuff, taking well framed pictures with high end phone cameras. Then archiving them and methodically picking the best ones, and keeping a feed on Instagram proving that your life is cool. It sounds absurd but is clearly necessary now.

It doesn't matter. He'll be on to the next one by then anyway. The point is these guys are cornering the market on the swipe apps, not that they are gonna wife you up.

Hot means tall, fit, socially popular. They might be a hipster or a banker depending on your subculture, but those are surface level differences.

Yes. I have been an accidental Chad a couple times in my life. It’s completely surreal, like the “Party World” thing from TRP 5 years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/21 07:43 PM

They are married incels. We are lucky they aren’t killing themselves. Getting more in touch with their emotions is the last thing they need. What they probably need is a divorce honestly.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/21 07:37 PM

They're right there on tinder. As long as you are OK with a Tuesday afternoon timeslot you can get dicked down by a hot guy who doesn't give a shit about you.

I mean from a long term relationship perspective that has to happen right? Sex ratio is 50/50. From what I can tell swipe apps have gone from a niche to completely dominant over last 4 years, accelerated by the pandemic. I do think many women want a monogamous relationship with the 10/10 boys they find on Tinder, and are using sex as the bait. It probably works sometimes but again mathematically it can only work for a few.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/21 01:20 PM

But that doesn't match what EVERYONE says about swipe apps: that only the top 10% of men get any action.

Yup that's definitely the conclusion. In theory it should be easy: Americans are obese AF, so being top 10% physically should be trivial. In practice the men in big city dating markets are all lifting, and many of them are using steroids. However many men still under-invest in photography for unknown (cultural?) reasons.

My wife was trying to argue that this was sexism the other day. It’s like they don’t understand capitalism or their own decisions within it. We went shopping and I showed her how the really fashionable men’s pants also have crap pockets.

There is data on this. Online + “in a bar” (which is often a sly way of saying online) is a majority way of meeting and getting bigger every year. Pandemic has supercharged this effect. I can’t find the chart because I’m on mobile but someone shares it every month on this sub. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen articles about the nightclub industry taking a hit but I can’t swear to it.

The girl in #2 scenario will be inundated by hot guys: she will do the rational thing and pick the guys who seem most attractive. Once she starts dating them she will have to put out to stay in the running, since that guy has several girls in rotation. They might date for a few months officially, but he’s banging other girls the whole time. It sucks for the girls, the only one who really benefits is the top guys who are cleaning up.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/21 11:56 PM

Online dating is the primary way of dating, and it IS hookup culture. Girls pick the top guys, and put out so they can have a chance at a relationship with him.

Compared to the 50s yes. Compared to the 90s: depends how hot u are. Top guys have it way better, other guys have it way worse. It is what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/21 11:31 PM

Yes once they hit 30 assortive mixing comes in. Most guys would be ok with the whole thing if they didn’t suspect they were walking into a dead bedroom by wifeing up a woman who just spent a decade banging hotter dudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/21 11:29 PM

You used to have to just have a stable job to get a relationship. Now you have to have 6 pack abs and be photogenic. Which is harder? The majority of dudes will just never be hot enough to get chosen on a swipe app.

Men want the best a woman can give if they are going to commit to her. That means any sex acts she did regularly with other dudes in the past. That means being receptive to exploring kinks and trying to keep things fresh. That means being committed to making him feel like he has explored the sexual world enough, the way women get to. If she is not willing to do sex acts she has done with other men, she is saying “I don’t need to give you as much as I gave other men. Because I’m not afraid you wi…

It is very hard for a healthy male to be happy without sexual fulfillment. The same people who tell him to find happiness elsewhere will mock him for being sexually unsuccessful. We are social creatures we don’t exist in a vaccum.

Internet is not real life. There are many things people can’t say in real life (especially men). It all comes out here and it can sound a bit shocking. Men are just mad women have so much sexual/relationship leverage nowadays. They feel strongly judged and jealous and denied. That’s where the negativity is coming from.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/21 11:00 AM

People are always gonna be mad about something. This sounds like internet debate disease. You shouldn’t be worried about opinions so controversial that they can only be shared on anon chat rooms. The situation is that everyone is allowed to have standards for who they date.

Right but what about having hot young sex workers pestering you all day for sex. And wanting to spend all day with you afterwards and you have to turn them down because there’s other fun stuff you want to do. If you put yourself in a position where you are literally drowning in pussy it will reframe it’s value in your eyes. It’s just a slimy fuck hole that feels really good on your peepee. There are 4 billion of them in the world, they aren’t rare or special.

That’s sexual selection. It’s the sibling concept to natural selection, and was also discovered by Darwin. Happens in most animals that reproduce sexually. Is a way of removing mutations from the gene pool before they rise to the level that they would effect survival (natural selection). It only happens on the male side because eggs are expensive.

I think dating apps are really shoving it in people’s faces. It was easy to ignore when online dating was niche but with the pandemic it became basically the only way to date.

Women order men off tinder like they are a pizza. They have just as high a sex drive as men if the guy checks all their boxes physically.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 04:25 PM

It takes you an hour to see another dude. FWB for women is like prostitutes for men: it’s a time slot for sex, not a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 04:07 PM
2

Free market failure can’t be fixed by individuals is a very powerful concept. We are all trapped in a system. You can make individual choices but other players will judge you on the basis of expected behavior in the system. A girl can make every guy wait exactly 5 dates. In my view, in the abstract, this would be a great way for society to be. As it is now, most men will assume she’s fucking other guys while making him wait. Her individual policy that she applies consistently doesn’t work.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 02:14 PM
1

Watch what they do, not what they say is always an excellent rule. People are bad at seeing the systems they are living in and are bad at introspection. And are happy to be hypocrites when it suits them. Out of curiosity did you try using oral/handjobs to “bridge the gap”? Or were you holding the line at making out?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 10:46 AM
1

Not TMI at all. A lot of women give it as a consolation prize tho. Also a lot of women are really bad at it (which is fair it is quite hard to give proper blowjobs).
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 10:40 AM
2

Do you see a difference between oral / handjobs and penetrative sex? That can be one way to split the difference. Also a good way to make sure he gives good head haha. It might feel a little good girl but oral is legitimately less risky than penetration.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 10:05 AM
1

I mean a one date difference is fine right? If she slept with a guy on the second date once four years ago, and she sleeps with you on the third date, that’s not an insult.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 09:59 AM
5

That makes sense given what they know about how women are behaving. Waiting a lot longer than other guys for the same girl is a really bad sign. Guys would wait 3 months like FDS says if girls were consistent about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 09:57 AM
2

That’s a dark explanation. I feel like people on that sub at least try to be sex positive towards both sexes. They are just trapped in the Women are Wonderful effect, modern Feminism with its implicit belief that misandry is ok, etc. saying “male sexuality is disgusting” that literally triggered their logical brains in a way that saying “teenage boys are like horny dogs who hump furniture” didn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 09:38 AM
2

Yeah we don’t have to change anything we just have to be more honest about the situation. They feel like they are pathetic losers, outcasts. Reality is getting girls is hard and there should be no shame in failing. This feels like such a simple thing to ask for but it is like pulling teeth.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 02:37 AM

It would make incels feel so much better if we would just acknowledge and normalize this. They failed at something hard, there should be some honor in that.

If it's instinctual, genetically programmed behavior it won't be impacted by conscious thought or know about modern inventions like birth control. Given that only socially dominant chimp and bonobo males reproduce, this could the case for humans as well.

So glad to hear someone else talking about sexual selection (which was Darwin’s other big concept besides natural selection). This shit is so normal, I don’t know why we can’t just admit that the majority of males aren’t supposed to reproduce in a natural state. And yes, the apps are clearly driving everyone crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/21 09:53 AM
1

Dating apps are ubiquitous now, it’s everybody using them. And the pattern matches up with what we see in mitochondrial DNA (only 40% of males reproduced compared to 80% of females) and what we see in most other animals that reproduce sexually (sexual selection where only the best males reproduce).
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/21 09:40 AM

That's what happens when you marry someone but aren't committed to keeping the sexual spark alive. Men are pretty simple, women should know how to keep them happy if they want them to stick around.

I liked this comment so much I saved it in my evernote. I think this is my problem when trying to pick up women. I don't have the balls to smoothly escalate and just kind of ambivalently flop around until they get disgusted and leave. I also feel like there's a specific "follow-up" move I need to learn when I meet a receptive girl in a social context where she is giving clear IOIs but can't be seen as being easy. First of all don't talk about "people". It's disingenuous. Men and women are different, and that's OK. Second of all, if there's such variety in what women find attractive, then way is there such a winner-takes-all distribution of female attention on dating apps. The data really looks like all women find the same few guys hot. Which again is fine. Men and women are different, and that's OK. It's the lying about it that grinds my gears.

Right. But if the fish could talk and you asked them what the best approach to catching them was, do you think they would give good advice? Think about car buyers for a more neutral example. Could they give good advice about how to sell a car?

I mean how would I have good advice for women as a man? I’ve never faced anything like what women face in the dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/21 06:20 PM

I feel most red pill concepts can be turned around. Men have as strong a rationalization hampster as women, you should watch what they do not what they say, men can't give good advice to women because you don't ask a fish for fishing advice. Most of it is simple logic that goes both ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/21 04:47 PM

Yeah guys are NOT good at this. Trying to make it a habit. I can’t seem to get a cohort together, it’s a bunch of individual friends but they never cohere into a group or scene.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/21 03:58 PM

That is their point. For one night stands to be a significant percentage of all sex acts they would have to be happening at a rate that seems unlikely. Fucking your wife every day is possible. Fucking a new girl every day is NBA level status. Of course friends with benefits are a different story.

Lots of guys had hobbies but they were isolating them from girls rather than bringing girls in. Our society has become more and more isolating. This was a thing 20 years ago with the death of community and religion (see "Bowling Alone") and it has only accelerated with smartphones and Covid.

It is absolutely frustrating when someone you work with does this. I had a tax firm where the woman assigned to my account did this twice. The second time I switched firms. In professional spheres you can't take breaks like that.

Both. Also there are negative stereotypes about men that play video games that you don’t need to swim against. Also most other hobbies will be better for your body. The only argument in favor of video games is the cognitive stimulation. Probably a really good thing for old people (like 60+).

You are forgetting: men need to impress women. It’s not enough to do a hobby, you have to excel at it. So you can’t waste hours on a hobby that will actively harm your dating life like playing video games: you don’t have the hours to spare. You are coming from a female perspective of dating abundance.

Your just objecting to the plain way men speak. Both statements say the same thing, you just made it less direct and clear so you wouldn’t hurt someone’s feelings. They don’t need to grow their minds and bodies. They need to do shit that impresses women. Some shit that impresses women is really bad. Like being a coke dealer. Some is self destructive, like doing extreme sports. Sometimes it’s a mystery why some stuff attracts women. Why are chess guys virgins, but poker guys are drowning in pussy…

If you are having trouble with women you need to pick hobbies that will help with that. There’s plenty of cool stuff to choose from. Rock climbing, Salsa dancing, team sports…

I was kinda trying to make the point that they wouldn’t ban it. People were pretty much saying that (teenage boys are like horny dogs who will jump the furniture, etc). I was agreeing and amplifying.

Banned from deadbedrooms and \sex. \Sex was for a sarcastic comment "isn't male sexuality disgusting". Which honestly It's heartwarming that that was a banning offense, even if troubling they didn't understand it was sarcastic.

As a married guy, for sure you reject women. It's high-stakes and super risky to have sex with a civilian outside the relationship. And women *will* try to seduce you to get your resources / clout / business network / leverage. But your game is so weak from lack of practice that you can just kind of flop around helplessly until the woman withdraws in disgust. At least that's how it goes every time with me...

A traditional woman is fine. Expecting traditional masculinity while completely removing any expectations from the female gender role is the problem.

One sexual assault / rape is a lot worse than any number of N count. Even if a women deals with it on the surface it will color her sexuality and make her more vulnerable to sexual issues in the relationship later on. Best to just avoid a woman who has experienced this, sadly. It's not fair but that's the dating game: it sucks for a lot of people.

Even talking about fashion on PPD, it's pretty blatant how..... basic the average man on PPD's style is. Agreed. But they actually realize it matters. And they are aiming for a lowest common denominator target. While not fashionable they are ahead of most men, who don't seem to even realize that what they wear matters.

The point is that it sounds like paradise to a horny incel. But a fortnight of getting what they want and it would be annoying. We value what is hard to get.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/21 06:38 PM

No but the point is it's surprisingly annoying when you are actually as sexually satiated as the average woman is (sex on tap and being marketed to you 24/7). I agree the validation isn't there but if you're looking for validation from dumb sluts you're kinda dumb yourself.

Live in Pattaya for 2 weeks. Being able to get it whenever you want it will make you 10x less interested in it. You’ll still have a sex drive, but random propositions for a quick cheap fuck when you are just trying to find a decent cup of coffee will be annoying rather than tantalizing.

I'm sorry but I didn't understand any of that. It is very clear that one reason America is beating Europe is that we welcome immigrants who do things like 1)have kids and 2)occasionally do things like start trillion dollar tech empires. It only takes a few of these to have massive impact.

I've walked up to girls and said hi, what's your name? Just from the response to that question and body language I say well it was nice meeting you and walk away or continue conversation. Rome didn't fail because it allowed in non-ethnic Italians. It failed because it became decadent. Their machine for incorporating new ethnicities into their culture extended their rein by centuries. It was absolutely a massive advantage. And it was really cutting edge and progressive at the time.

That’s shockingly practical. Maybe that’s why Rolex doesn’t signal as much as it used to. The brittleness, servicing, and need to stay formal are all useful signals beyond the price of the watch. (Of high concienciousness, commitment to looking formal, willingness to risk damage to something expensive, etc). Sounds like you made the right decision.

Yup. Not getting into details but one of my kids is special needs. Life destroying. (Its not just what happens to the kid. Imagine your wife becoming the stereotypical “Autism Mom”). Given the different holes kids can fall into (suicide, drug addiction, sickness are the three I’ve seen in my UMC world) I think having one kid has at least a 10% chance of ruining your life.

I gave you the stats for India. Quite sure there is a similar pattern for other South Asian countries. I don’t know the trends for Africa so can’t comment on that. But the general pattern of dropping reproduction levels is happening worldwide, faster than economic models of this would predict (it was previously thought to be a product of economic development but it seems often to be outpacing that model).

No she has pretty middle class worldview. Despite ample access to my perverted mind I don’t think she realizes the depths of depravity that male sexuality is capable of. We don’t really keep a United front with the kids. She actually thinks that United front is an ideology for making the woman agree with the man. So she basically gets her way, I’m pretty henpecked.

I have a friend who did this. I watched him level up like it was a video game over a 4 year period. Women enable this by being so impressed with social proof and making confidence such an important dimension of attraction. /r/PurplePillDebate24/10/21 07:08 PM

Honestly prostitutes are a much better source of sex ideas than porn. They focus on things that give pleasure (as opposed to looking good) and are achievable (since they'll be doing it a few times a day). The also are willing to do things like work on their kegels or do enough squats that they can do cowgirl properly or train away their gag reflex, so they show you what is reasonably possible for a woman to do with some discipline.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/21 04:25 PM

I mean he could be crazy. So could you. So could I. Being on this sub is not a super positive sign for mental health! I do believe that male celebrities use social media to bang randoms.. There was the whole case with James Franco a few years ago. Basketball players don’t go out when they travel any more because they can just order in girls to the room via tinder/insta. Man this has been studied by actual academics. It's not in any way up for debate. Outliers don't prove anything in a discussion about statistics, we are talking about patterns at a population level. And there's no reason that this needs to be a hill that anyone dies on. Equality doesn't mean "men and women are exactly the same", it means "treat everyone fairly".

Tech startups are powered by exploitation. Find some lost boys with autistic tendencies, convince them that a ping pong table and a beer keg make it the fraternity they never got into at college, and work them 70 hours a week until they burn out and you replace them. Sexual bucket list items can really eat at you. It can be really quieting to have actually tried stuff, for guys it makes them feel like a real man. If there's a sex act that's pretty common in your society and you have never been able to get a girl to do it with you, you must be pretty low status, right? I realize this sounds a bit insane when you actually put it into words. But remember guys come from a position of scarcity when it comes to this stuff.

It's not about voting. It's about their actions in the workplace. There are a few kind nerds who happened to get a job early at Google or bought some bitcoin early or whatever. But anyone who has built a business or been in management has to have sharp fucking elbows. Otherwise they will get selected out because capitalism is a fucking full-contact sport.

You've never seen how women act around a high status man in a low inhibition environment? It's absolutely crazy. Mating behavior being instinctual should not be surprising from a biology perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/21 03:18 PM

I don't follow anyone. I do know that men and women are different, just like males and females in other species that experience sexual selection.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/21 03:17 PM
2

My point is there are dudes who LIVE and WORK in low inhibition environments. That has a big impact on how much casual sex they have. They still have to be Chads because that environment is brutally competitive for men. Environment matters is the point.

Most mating decisions (for both sexes) are made by our lizard brains and rationalized by our forebrains. We are really good at telling ourselves convincing (and coincidentally flattering!) stories about why we did stuff.

All models are flawed, some models are useful. For me the lens of "relationship marketplace" plus the lens of "sexual selection" explains a LOT of mating behavior. But anyone hoping to predict human behavior 100% of the time is going to be disappointed.

Yeah. This is how a lot of rich guys go broke actually. The smart way to handle your money is stick it in Vanguard index funds and live off the dividends. But that generates no tingles so they get into startup investing, real estate, all kinds of high profile illiquid investments that make no sense from a purely financial perspective and are a lot of work (since as you point out, the "work" is a key part of what they need to project).

Bringing significant surplus value to the group in a high status way is completely different from being a good partner. Like not correlated to anti-correlated. And it’s not something that men use to filter women at all. And yes, red pill “truths” are super pedestrian. They were known by everyone 2000 years ago. They only seem like big insights because of the last 40 years of aggressive blank-slate indoctrination.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/21 01:10 PM

No most men have not takien anything up the butt. (And I love prostate stuff but it’s definitely not a majority of men that have done it. Most women think it’s pretty gay for a guy to want that unfortunately).

/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/21 10:19 AM

There are different ways to be a leader. Basically you need to contribute surplus value to the group, and do it in a way that people actually appreciate (no not just diligently doing low status work). I would wager that most of the guys in successful relationships, and DEFINITELY the guys that are dating successfully in current year, are doing that. Men have to bring some value because their sexuality is not valued by default the way womens sexuality is valued.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/21 10:12 AM
2

This is like a minor tactical issue. Whatever subculture you are in, you want to be the alpha as a male. That means socially dominant, the center of attention. This looks completely different in a hippy commune from in Manhattan banking culture, but either way being in shape and being the leader will pay off.

I bought a stroker (a couple actually) and she freaked out so hard that I had to throw them out. "What if the kids find it?" and general contempt for the kind of man that would need a toy were her reactions. Ironic and quite unfair since she is attached at the hip to her hitachi wand. So she gets toys but I don't. It's an ego thing. I've accomplished a hell of a lot in life, and I feel I should be treated like my needs and wants matter. Refused to investigate alternative therapies (I was particularly interested in THC lube). So PIV was off the table for good. I’m not sure what you mean. At the end of a date a dude will try to kiss you. That’s a core part of the cultural script. Rejecting the kiss (which is a perfectly fine move, a standard part of the script) is communicating that you do not want a romantic relationship with him. If you aren’t aware of all this YOU might need to work on your social skills. This is pretty basic western culture stuff.

50% of the population has HSV1 herpes. This is a big problem because if you don't catch it as a child you can catch it as an adult on your genitals. In fact about half the current cases of genital herpes are HSV1. This is a growing problem because children are living more isolated, sterile lives and not catching HSV1 as children the way they used to. Everyone should try to catch HSV1 as soon as possible on their mouth so it doesn't end up on their dick/pussy.

Menopause destroys PIV for *many* women (for 45% of women PIV is painful). If they aren't open to exploring other stuff (no just blowjobs and handjobs) then the sex life takes a major hit. Prostitution is still shamed in both countries though, it's not normalized, so it's not a fair test. Places like Thailand or Korea where prostitution is normalized would be a better comparison, but of course they are completely different from Western countries in all other respects so you can't really compare them.

The solution is to embrace the struggle. Internalize and accept that life isn't fair. Embrace the idea that males of most species have to constantly fight to gain access to women. Acknowledge that we as a species are no different. The courtship ritual is not the place to display your warm and tender side. It's the place to display dominance. Yeah that makes sense, you need to create a fun environment with you at the center, not just autistically offer resources to strangers. I’m quite interested in this topic since I’m wealthy and about to be divorced. Buying a boat is such a cliche but I may need to go there.

Full quote for those who have never heard it before. “When looking for a life partner, my advice to women is date all of them: the bad boys, the cool boys, the commitment-phobic boys, the crazy boys. But do not marry them. The things that make the bad boys sexy do not make them good husbands. When it comes time to settle down, find someone who wants an equal partner. Someone who thinks women should be smart, opinionated and ambitious. Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, want…

No idea, probably nothing relevant to this topic. Are you trying to argue that men are more murdery? Because no one disagrees that men are hella violent.

And the prostitutes didn't have to compete over customers anymore. Which was a big plus. This makes a lot of sense. Strip clubs have terrible vibes for this reason, the women are all dogfighting with each other to sell dances to the few dudes who actually brought a real stack.

The exact state of the country is impossible to know. You might be being too pessimistic: everyone has jobs and the stock market is doing great. Inflation is a thing but it’s not the worst problem to have. People who still have Trump derangement now that Trump is gone are clinically insane. You see them sometimes especially on the internet, but they aren’t common. Me, I’m just glad the struggle sessions are over.

My wife went all-in on liberal insanity (identity politics and anti-Trump fervor) during the Trump years. It did a huge amount of damage to the marriage.

TRP is (quite by accident) on the bleeding edge of consent culture with the LMR stuff. Their recommended behavior is to disengage (check your phone, withdraw attention) and let her prove she actually wants your sexual attention. This is way more in tune with the concept of "affirmative consent" then making out for 5 minutes and trying again, which is the typical way LMR is handled by normal guys. It's absolutely the opposite of coersion.

It's pretty much the main reason men do anything. Which is why we have civilization (housing, health care, civil rights). No one (sane) is asking for state-issued girlfriends. Or even a return to the bad old days of monogamy for life. Just a little perspective and empathy, which "haha it's not a need" is the opposite of. The normal way of handling a girl saying no is making out for 5 more minutes and trying again. Which is really kinda rapey. Pulling away and making her prove she actually wants your sexual attention is much more in keeping with the ideal of enthusiastic consent.

Definitely not the same as 2 college kids boning. You are sober, and she actually knows how to give a good blowjob are two major differences. I’m not against relationships at all. I just don’t think there’s any reason to put pussy on a pedestal when it is so readily available on demand. It only has good impact on my self esteem, mental health, interactions with women, etc. Like a lot of guys spend there lives wishing for a threesome and obsessing over it. I just did it because I felt like it one…

Feds really don't care at all about prostitution. Every city in America has open massage parlors that are obviously brothels. If they wanted they could shut them all down tomorrow (everything in america is absurdly over-regulated, this wouldn't need to be criminal or civil cases, just code violations). Once a year a Kamala Harris type will grandstand for the cameras about shutting down BackPage or whatever. It's not treated seriously like drugs or financial crime or something. I can't type "coca…

Yeah so leave. And before you leave get good enough that you'll be able to find another mate. Possibly that process will convince your spouse to pay more attention to you. Low odds on this but that's OK because "the stay plan is the same as the go plan".

Social manipulation happens too fast and naturally for a lot of it to be conscious. If you talk to people who are good at it a lot of them don't have an explicit mental model of it and are just relying on instinct. It's people that are bad at it that think about it in very explicit terms and do it consciously.

Obviously. I’m just making fun of the neurotic men who worry about this, and the neurotic women who propose solutions like this. People have been getting drunk to fuck for 1000s of years. It’s never going to stop, it’s half the point of alcohol that it reduces your inhibitions.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/21 07:03 PM

Just give a fake name bro. Stop being so neurotic.

I was with a super ugly girl last month. I mean literally looked like a witch and had a potbelly. I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to get hard for her. She had sexual techniques that absolutely rocked my world. Looks aren’t everything. Enthusiasm and skill can go a long way.

For the modern guy, if you are "husband material", it just means you need to be prepared to break up over sex, and continuously do so until you find your "wife material". Not just until you find your "wife material". You have to be ready to break up over sex your entire life.

I mean we kinda do, at least in the US? Poor people are pretty fucked, and there's no limit to how rich you can get.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/21 03:59 AM

Yeah. You're a normal man. I'm the same way. I'm just explaining my understanding of the female perspective on this.

the real Red Pill, far from being misogynistic as its critics claim, is the recognition that women are in fact people too This is it. Women are people. So always self-interested, usually dishonest and sometimes evil. Just like men.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/21 02:05 AM

I won't take an incel seriously if he hasn't cultivated a social drinking and weed smoking habit. And honestly they should all drop acid or try mushrooms once or twice to see if it helps them reframe things.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/21 02:00 AM

You don’t have a choice what it is. You are in an environment with certain characteristics. You do what you do to get what you want. It might or might not be worth it. Any way you look at it none of this is fair, and stressing about fairness won’t get you closer to whatever your goal is.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 11:40 PM
2

I mean it is what it is. I know exactly how much it sucks. Lift weights and do drugs, you will find low inihibition girls who are dtf eventually.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 11:32 PM
3

It’s crazy how many tv shows use words like cuck and beta etc. it really is leaking into the mainstream. I don’t understand how since no one I know would ever mention any of this stuff in public.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 11:31 PM

Life ain’t fair bro. Sexual selection is brutal. Git gud.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 11:29 PM
1

It’s not even that. People often dramatically lose their sexual desire in marriage. If this happens more or less in parallel it’s fine, if it happens to one person it’s hugely destructive. And it’s not any bodies fault. It just sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 10:48 PM

For many women fashion is self expression / ingroup signaling. To think of it in such a functional way seems like you don’t care what other people think of you (that you are under using such an important signalling channel). Basically from their perspective your perspective seems low key autistic.

Yeah I got my permission slip filled out and everything. /s Of COURSE my wife doesn’t know. This is literally what hookers are for. It’s the vast majority of their customer base, married dudes who make good money and whose wives won’t put out.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 06:59 PM
1

Every time I travel on business I meet women that would be dtf. They are my age and generally decent looking. I turn them down and fuck hot young hookers instead because they are hotter and will do absolutely anything I want sexually, and won’t create any future complications. But yeah there are women out there. There’s a dating market for every age.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 06:48 PM
2

It’s status for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 06:44 PM
16

Yeah status is contextual. The guy writing the checks has high status within that organization, at an industry party or conference, whatever. At a nightclub his status is out of context and illegible so it doesn’t help. Meanwhile a movie stars status is legible everywhere, and in most contexts his fame makes him high status. Key point is it’s status not money that gets the panties wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 06:41 PM
2

I don’t know man. I live a life of quiet sexual desperation and I’m late 40s. Men want to bang no matter what. Women after kids and esp after Menopause don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 06:36 PM
1

Of course it didn’t. The only thing that works is having the credible option to leave. Dread game is toxic and it really sucks that this is the only thing that even sometimes works in these situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 02:04 PM

Because they don’t like it. But they are under no illusions that they can change it. Women ideally aren’t supposed to even know about RP. It’s not a political organization, it’s guys figuring out how to get laid.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/21 08:24 PM

Unstated context: We’re talking about anal and deep throating, not BDSM. It’s because they can get hotter guys for casual than they can for a long term relationship.

I often wonder why the hell women excel in stuff. Like I get why they become doctors, but why do they become brain surgeons? Men are clearly sublimating their sexual drive / executing a mating strategy. But women must actually really want to do they shit if they do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/21 12:40 AM

Men who are married and have kids still want to be attractive to other women. Many have very shitty sex lives / dead bedrooms. He himself has clearly prioritized being attractive, to the point of lifting heavy and using steroids. So he clearly cares.

Low key the decision many sexpats make. Move to a country where you have no friends family or ties to the culture. Interact only with whores and random other sexpats (who are random retired German plumbers or whatever, not people you are likely to have much in common with). Die early because of sub par healthcare. I guess you have beer and the internet and tv but it’s not that different.

It's way worse than you are fearing. This is yet another situation where society tells polite lies to keep the sheep docile (stuff like "some* women experience increased sex drive after Menopause" and "nursing homes are overrun with STD cases because everyone is boning"). 17%-45% of women experience painful sex after Menopause. If sex is painful they won't want to have it, that makes sense. https://www.menopause.org/for-women/sexual-health-menopause-online/sexual-problems-at-midlife/pain-with-pe…

Women gain no supports from males who only see them as sex objects, but only harassments and trauma. Literally all of Feminism is propped up by male benevolent sexism. Women complain and men change society in response to the complaints and then women complain about the second-order effects of the change they just asked for.

Women like men with the kinds of muscles that men can realistically build non-professionally. Women like men with status within their subculture. Women like men that other women like. Women like men who have had sex with multiple other women, and find virgins unattractive. YEARS of person-hours have been wasted debating these kind of obvious truths on PP…

Empathy account is drained unfortunately. Last 20 years have been spend empathizing with any crazy idea that comes into women's collective head (manspreading, mansplaining, campus rape crisis, gender pay gap) while women affirm that they will never have any empathy for any issue that effects men. Feminism is powered by benevolent sexism, where men are expected to always care about any complaint women have. Many men are just done with that dynamic. Without wanting to be MRM because frankly, eww.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/21 02:29 PM

If people (men?) will be terrible anyway why not tell the truth? Just seems simpler to me. Hypocracy is not a particularly big sin, but more honesty would definitely help the transition of gender roles to occur faster. Which feminist women claim to want.

Women exaggerate it too. When they are complaining EVERY woman complains about all the unwanted attention they get. When threads like this come up somehow all those complaints disappear and men are delusional for thinking they get less attention than women. The gaslighting is out of control.

Ali Wong is the shit. I like her a lot. From a male perspective, the SMP has a gini coefficient representing EXTREME inequality. The guys at the top are winning BIG over everyone else. So all these words about how the guys who get all the casual sex are really losers sound like platitudes to make the losers feel less bad about themselves. I totally get that from the female perspective it doesn't feel like this. Casual sex is like the 20th most important thing on your mind, it's a fun thing to do…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 08:30 PM
2

Fuckboys are the top percent of men from a SMP perspective. Most men want to fuck a variety of women (even if they want to commit to one). Fuckboys are the only men that can get consistent casual sex, so they clearly have what women want. Are they good people or net contributers to society? Irrelevant. We're talking about their value in the SMP, not their ethics or economic contributions.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 08:16 PM

In what way?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 08:04 PM

Shower thought: those women are the alphas of the female world. The elite 20%!

/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 02:51 PM

Totally reasonable. the guys that need help are probably totally fine with the normal courting process (3 dates to bang is not such a long time anyway).
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 02:28 PM
5

Yeah a woman who won't help you find a girlfriend (with her social network) or a ONS (with randoms when you go out) doesn't actually care about you.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 02:27 PM
14

If you have a reputation of a fuckboy, you're already set. That's the top 5% of men. I think most men are looking for a girlfriend. Only the guys who can actually get casual sex reliably (the fuckboys) look down on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 02:24 PM
7

I mean that's a setup, right? Frankly that's very very helpful. The other thing women can do for you is wingman for you when you go out, but I've seen a lot of resistance to that idea as well. I think women hate even knowing how pro-active men have to be to meet women. They want to maintain the belief that everything "just happens".
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 02:01 PM
42

I think this is an obvious idea. And I think this is a space where women can add incredible value to their male friends lives. Many western women, at least online, seem to feel that this is a disgusting thing to even ask of them. "It's not my job to help you get laid, dude." seems to be the attitude. Not sure why that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 01:46 PM
11

At a broader level, women fail to acknowledge that masculinity is simply a reflection of whatever they value sexually. If they started having sex with shy software engineers RedPill would be all about learning Python. Fuckboys are basically designed by women: they are what women reward in the SMP. But women refuse to take responsibility for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/21 08:56 PM

Those are fun. However my wife thought me using that was gross. Sheer hypocrisy given that it’s her wand!

/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/21 02:09 PM

Who says they don’t want to date you? It’s quite possible they would be thrilled to be your boyfriend. It’s just that the drive to go down that path is the male sex drive.

This is the genetic data from 10000 years ago. When agriculture was invented there was a choke point where many women were monopolized by each farmer Chad. In general the genetic record shows 80% of women and 40% of men reproducing, not 17 to 1.

The Pulse Solo from Hot Octopus is a pretty amazing piece of kit. It’s a frenulum vibrator for men. It can take you from flaccid to orgasm in like a minute. The fact that you don’t have to get horny before using it is weird and awesome. You just turn it on and BAM! Orgasm.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 09:41 PM
1

In what way? Is the issue that I got the stats wrong and it’s 20% of women who can cum from PIV? (Too lazy to look it up, now I’m on mobile haha). Honestly I think it’s a mix of both. Women vary in how sensitive they are that way, and some men are MUCH better at triggering it than the majority.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 09:22 PM
1

It selects for the 20% of men that can make women cum from PIV. Maybe having a big dick and being able to last a long time is our equivalent of the peacocks tail.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 08:50 PM

How is a woman’s orgasm maladaptive? I mean I know it’s not necessary for procreation but it seems good for pair bonding.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 08:40 PM

I think in both cases it’s a self control issues. If a horny boy with death grip syndrome abstained for a week or two I’m sure he would be fine. Good luck getting that to happen though.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 08:37 PM
7

I think I already said it wasn't permanent nerve damage. It's a habit. Calling it a preference is underselling it because once you have the habit, getting away from it takes a lot of work. So you don't have 100% free will anymore. Like internet porn or anything else that becomes a deeply ingrained habit. We all agree that the guys with death grip syndrome have an issue (because they can't cum from fucking a pussy, which seems maladaptive). Not being able to cum from oral, fingers, or regular pow…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 08:29 PM

Phone typing sucks. ;-> But I mean have you played with one ever? It's like 5X as powerful as any other vibrator my wife has owned. It's so powerful it can't use batteries, it plugs into the wall. It makes sense to me that it would desensitize. Side question: why would incels care anyway? They don't have women, why would they care how women are jerking off? Is the hitachi the Chad of vibrators? (kinda, I guess)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 08:14 PM
12

There's a whole thread on desensitization over here. Pretty much everyone agreed that it was a thing, even the hitachi fans (of where there are many: it's a pretty amazing machine tbh). https://www.reddit.com/r/sexover30/comments/piougs/hitachi\_wand\_anyone\_else\_experience\_this/
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 08:08 PM
7

It's like with dudes and death grip from jerking too hard. For sure there's no PERMANENT NERVE DAMAGE. What there is is a very strong habit that is associated with a powerful reward (orgasm) and hard to break. A week would definitely not be enough time for my wife (she goes that long between orgasms as it is). I'm sure my wife could "recover" if she went on like a 3 month fast from the hitachi but she's definitely not motivated to do so. 3 months of it being harder to have orgasms is a big ask o…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 08:05 PM
11

Um it happened to my wife. I've seen it first hand. The hitachi is quite a powerful piece of equipment ... as a dude I have a Tim Taylor MOAR POWER respect for it but with great power comes great responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 07:51 PM

No true Scotsman effect. Whatever sex positive activists claim to support, the broader culture supports female sex toys and shamed male ones. And sex positive activists put little effort into changing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 05:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 01:46 PM

Yes fleshlight use is still considered disgusting and creepy, but vibes and dildos are fine as long as it’s women that are using them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 01:43 PM
2

This might be a generational thing. My wife (GenX) definitely shamed me for experimenting with flashlights. Not positive that Millenials or Zoomers are any better though.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 01:38 PM
4

It may not be permanent (you can abstain and over time get back the sensation) but it’s a habit that’s hard to break. For either sex. I think death grip and hitachi syndrome are very similar dynamics.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 01:35 PM
32

So I got in a thread on sexover30 the other day about hitachi wands and how women can get desensitized to the point that they can only cum from the wand. The women were pushing back a lot (because they love their hitachis) while pretty much confirming that desensitization was a thing. Sort of an interesting example of toys hurting the man and woman’s sex life.

The redpill way of handling LMR (disengaging, checking your phone, withdrawing attention) is honestly a perfect approach from a consent perspective. If she wants it she can re-engage. It's less rapey then standard dating behavior, which is to keep making out and try again in 5 minutes.

Dude we were all there. It wasn't that long ago. Anyone who was declared a witch was hounded out of their job. It got down to the level of small music scenes and theater people and shit, it wasn't just celebrities. There was never any evidence provided for any of it. Some real degenerate men were taken down, along with some men who were guilty of nothing more than being heterosexual.

Like I said, high status in a low inhibition environment. I went to a ton of parties in college or my 20s that were nothing like that FOR ME. They were low inhibition environments, but I was just a dude. In these 3 instances I was “the man” due to my relative status.

UConn. State school bitches be crazy. Was just visiting a friend who I had worked with the previous summer. Family wedding was a family wedding. Honestly from your side you experience this world all the time (anytime you go to a low-inhibition environment and hook up). The point is most guys don't, because even the high status ones aren't high status in a way that is legible in the low inhibition environment. The DJ has higher status than the hedge fund manager at the club, for example. From your side it looks like a party and you hooked up with a guy that other girls were also trying to hook up with. The plausible deniability thread was remarkable in it's gaslighting. If we can't agree on such obvious dating dynamics and tropes as "lets go back to my place for a nightcap" how can conversation here ever move forward towards uncovering some deeper truths? Women who ordinarily advocate emotional intelligence and sophisticated reading of body language and social cues were LARPing as straight-up autistic, seemingly just to score a point in a debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 01:22 PM

Honestly if you're dating you're going to be having unprotected oral sex with people of unknown STD status. The risk is probably not that high (extremely hard to quantify). The point is it's culturally normative, holding fast on this point makes you a real weirdo.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 10:21 PM

Oh even saying nothing physical is happening won’t work. One of the classic things women say on dates where you end up having sex is “we’re not having sex tonight”. Which translates as “I’m thinking about having sex with you”. Best just to have a blanket rule.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 10:15 PM
6

I’ll tell you right now you should never accept an invite to be alone with a man of you don’t want him to try to kiss you. Unless he’s super super gay. Like gay married gay. And yes assuming boys are lying to you because they want to fuck you is a good assumption. Including when they lie about their lying.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 10:01 PM
3

I mean you don’t have to agree to sex obviously. But you shouldn’t be surprised if he tries to kiss you, and if you don’t want that you shouldn’t accept the invite. How far you go is a delicate negotiation that happens in the moment, mostly using nonverbal communication.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 09:59 PM

I can’t stop giggling imagining the scenario where you invite a girl back to yours on the premise of a bogus fish tank and she’s like “where’s the fucking fish?”.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 09:53 PM
6

Oh the fish have to be there if you promised them. Like if the shit you promised isn't there you look like a scam artist at best or a serial killer at worst. And it breaks the paper-thin illusion that all this "just happened".
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 08:48 PM
3

I mean I'm an old married dude so I've been out of the game for a while. My move would be "Come back to my place to check out <cool thing that we've been talking about during the date>". Like a first edition of a book or an album or my fish or something like that. That would definitely be code for sex, and if a girl was surprised that I came onto her under those circumstances I would assume she was autistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 08:18 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 07:57 PM

But how dumb do you have to be to not realize the plan was to have sex all along? Like I'm a mid-40s married dude and even I know about netflix n chill. If a guy invites you to his place alone, he's trying to fuck you. Always. We aren't complicated.

I mean King is the King of trash. He writes the absolute best trash and doesn’t try to pretend it’s high art or something. I’ve read everything he’s written except the endless fantasy novels he wrote (gunslinger etc). Trouble is you can’t really admit to reading King in my social circle so there’s no one to talk to about it. Supposedly the new cut of The Stand has 500 extra pages that the editor cut out of the initial book. Might give that a go next.

Everyone participating in this community thinks they were hard done by the opposite sex somehow. I’m inclined to empathize. Life is hard and a lot of people get fucked over. At least we have electricity and running water and this internet bullshit to distract us.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 01:16 PM

Your perspective is clouded by participation in this community. Look outside. Read the newspaper. Watch TV. Any problem expressed by women finds sympathy and attempts at policy and personal solutions from men. Even problems that in retrospect were bogus (manspreading, mansplaining) or overblown (campus rape crisis, wage gap).
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 12:01 PM

Women are shamed less and have a socially accepted solution. Men are shamed more and have a solution that is shamed just as much as virginity is. How is that equal?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 09:33 PM
2

I have plenty to say about men paying for sex. I’m absolutely in favor of it. The fact that it’s shamed as much as virginity doesn’t make it an ideal solution to this problem. But it’s still something I would recommend to pretty much any 20 year old virgin.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 08:34 PM

I mean it’s all that can be done so we should do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 07:53 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 07:15 PM

Of course not all men are alphas, but all men have the same desires, want the same stuff. The red pill model of male motivation is cartoonishly simple (yet surprisingly realistic in my experience). If a man is doing something, it's probably because he wants to fuck you.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 07:07 PM
2

You don’t have to able to get “anyone you want” to get an attractive person. That’s like a rich person claiming poverty because they can’t buy the Empire State Building. And no they are not shamed as much. For a woman it’s a minor negative to a minor positive. For a man it’s a major negative. But I don’t think we’re going to get any farther in this discussion. Peace!
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 06:08 PM
2

We’ll yes they can have sex with an attractive member of the opposite sex whenever they want. But also they aren’t disqualified from the SMP/RMP because of their virginity. It’s bad for sure, but its not as bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 05:50 PM
2

Of course it’s an issue for both genders. And of course it’s worse for men. If you don’t agree you aren’t arguing in good faith or are detached from reality. It’s this pathological inability to admit that any problem is worse for men that is the topic of this thread. This is a great real time example of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 05:27 PM

It’s literally the topic of this subthread.

Look up thread for context. The entire discussion began with a conversation where a woman claimed to me that it primarily effected women. We’re talking in general about how women will always claim every single thing is worse for them, even things that are clearly better for them. Try to keep up. I’ve never said men idolize women being a virgin (some do but they are weirdos). Just that it’s less of an issue for women than for men, which is clearly true.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 05:11 PM
1

Sure. But it’s clearly less of a problem for women then for men. And it’s easier for women to solve the problem if they want to. So saying it primarily effects women shows gross cognitive biases.

That it does (I didn't notice, you caught me). However none of the descriptions of upperclass people in those models could possibly be poor. Where's the starving theater person in NYC? The academic whose parents came to the US in 1620 but is practically bankrupt (but rich in social capital)? Why is their no discussion of the crucial class signalling provided by ancient Volvo station wagons? The social class section felt phoned in is what I'm trying to say.

I have to say I never thought republicans would actually do this. It's too good a campaign tool to ruin by actually achieving it, and it really activates the democratic base. They are like the dog that caught the car here. Abortion should be free and legal everywhere, but I am having a hard time getting worked up about it and secretly think it's pretty funny. Especially the whole narcing on your neighbor to win $10,000 thing. I guess I'm just an asshole.

The last 50 years have been Feminism doing a continuous empathy grab from men. It's shockingly regressive if you think about it. Why should men rescue these strong independent women like they are damsels in distress or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/21 11:13 PM

Class is completely distinct from income. One of the most confusing things about the US is that for some reason we pretend social class doesn't exist.

Black people are poorer now because their grandparents were oppressed and couldn't build wealth. Women grew up in families made of both men and women. There isn't a generational aspect to sexism the way there is to racism. When society changes the problem is pretty much instantly solved. So the fact that grandma couldn't get a credit card until 1974 is irrelevant.

This is a solid point. Assortative mating is a very useful lense to use when looking at mating behavior, same as AF/BB. They both happen. Assortative mating actually describes the beta bux part ... that guy is her match, on her level. She just doesn't feel it sexually because she's fucked better.

I think men and womens souls are equally dark. But there's a limit to how much evil you can do through manipulating, so women end up doing less evil. If we included all the evil shit men do to impress women, it would be way more than 50% of the evil though. Like I'm sure on some level Pablo Escobar was just trying to impress chicks and it got out of hand. But I don't think it's fair to blame that on women rather than the men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/21 09:00 PM

Hey need to feel the social capital, and they need to feel he’s in command. Those things take learning on a part of the man to attain and almost anyone can attain it Still working on this part TBH. It's harder than it looks, for one person to be in command several need to be under him so it is a zero sum game with more losers than winners.

Men are violent and rapey as hell, and are the cause of more than 50% of the suffering in the world. Women are just as evil but are no good at violence so their evil comes out as manipulation, getting the men to do their bidding. But this wouldn't even work if the men weren't so violent to begin with.

hobbies are an absurd way to try to get pussy. When women say to get a hobby, they just mean you should have a cool thing you can answer when they ask "what are your hobbies". Just say you ski or something and ski a few times every winter. I know 2 parents who’s kids became addicted to opioids. A separate kid tried to commit suicide. Overall I think there’s at least a 10% chance of each kid going sideways and trashing your life. Those arent good odds especially with multiple kids. This is in UMC circles btw, realize it sounds like a trailer park with all …

Kids fuck up your life. They are wonderful but they just ruin you.

I think you did the right thing. Society is a whole mesh of different rules and systems. Not everything is going to go through a formal court system.

Well that’s dumb. False accusations definitely happen (especially now that being a victim is trendy) and many rapists get away with it because it’s a hard crime to prove. There’s no good fix, it’s just a shit situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 11:11 PM

Obviously most rape is from known men. Issue is usually it’s impossible to prove so convictions are predictably low.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 10:58 PM

Obviously. That’s why when Rhode Island accidentally made prostitution legal rape dropped 20%.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 10:23 PM

Obviously a woman who parties and gets blackout drunk is at high risk of being raped. Heterosexual men are desperate and will do just about anything for sex. gay men aren’t, because they can get sex from dudes in their league relatively easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 09:53 PM

If you spend any time at all worrying about outliers like Dahlmer you are living life wrong. Lightning is a bigger risk factor for most people than gay serial killers.

The main problem would be getting the escort out of default "making the client feel like a stud" mode and into "teacher" mode. Would be hit or miss for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 08:54 PM

Hire an escort and have her teach you. Would take several sessions but would be well worth it (learning valuable skills is always a good investment of time and money).

Gay dudes at the club are not gonna rape anyone, promise.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 08:41 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/21 01:38 AM

Well I mean we should be able to find out, right? These are big first-world countries connected to the internet. I've spent time in Australia and male-female relations seemed the same as in US, UK, or Canada to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/21 11:49 PM

I would really love to know what the Incel population of Australia or Germany is like. I don't think prostitution really solves the problem, as much as I would like it to.

I am just a dumb guy and I have no place telling women how to play their game (fish / fisherman analogy holds). So I'm sure I'm wrong. But why can't a decent looking 23-year-old woman LOCK DOWN a 29-year-old guy? Like a pretty rich and successful one? It just seems (naively) like it wouldn't be that hard to me.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/21 10:55 PM

It takes a lot more energy for men then for women though. Women just have to keep Thursday-Saturday night free and pick the best option. I don’t see how they gets in the way of a career.

I never understand why people can’t be in a relationship while focusing on their career. Being in a relationship doesn’t take that much time, dating does! So marrying someone you met in college frees up a ton of time to focus on your career.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 06:16 PM

If you use a condom you'll just be taking a bit more risk than a tinder hookup. It's important to get red-pilled about STIs. Herpes and genital warts won't kill you, it's no big deal and most people have it and just lie about it. You need to avoid getting HIV, so don't rawdog randoms (especially anal) and you should be fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 05:48 PM
1

Dating is absolutely a math problem for men. They need to make high percentage moves because each move is expensive, and there are moves that sound good but don't pay off. If they interpret "get fit" to mean "train for a marathon" instead of "lift weights and get a V-taper" they will have wasted their shot. Same if they decide "cloths are a unique form of self expression" instead of "cloths are a hard-to-fake way of showing you are a part of your chosen in-group". A few bad strategic decisions w…

Yeah I mean obviously. But it's hard to vet for "willingness to seek treatment for low sex drive" while dating. Honestly pre-menopause I had 20 great years with my wife. There was nothing to indicate that she would just shut down at 45, and I doubt she expected it either.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 05:31 PM

The statistics I shared upthread are real. I really wish they weren’t but it’s important to face reality in life. You can’t even blame women for this. If fucking caused my dick to hurt I wouldn’t want to fuck either.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 04:00 PM
1

I don’t know man. No fucking for the rest of your life is a tough sell. If she is amazing at blow jobs and anal I guess it could work? But the lowered sex drive during Menopause makes that unlikely.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 03:54 PM
2

Yeah. You need to time it so the guy gets ED at the same time to kee the couple on the same page. That means a 5-10 year age gap.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 03:49 PM
2

You need to give that advice to the women not the men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 03:48 PM

It’s really not. Whatever is in demand is in high value. People have all kinds of idiosyncratic desires for a house. Despite that, bigger has more value. Posher zip code has more value. It’s just maths.

That was the example that launched this conversation (upthread)
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 07:51 PM

I don't advocate for any cultural change myself: I'm no tradcon. My point is when people throw up their hands and say "well we can't do anything without government sponsored sex slaves" it's bullshit. Minor changes to the cultural values and scripts we use would have a major impact on the behavior of everyone operating in the cultural system.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 07:17 PM
9

Scenario we are discussing is mostly 20-something girls on tinder, not college kids. There's absolutely a norm of having sex early with guys that are out of your league in the hopes of attaining a committed relationship, that's the root of the issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 07:07 PM
1

I here tell that in the past, from time to time, Sluts were Shamed. The culture ebbs and flows, and values are always changing. It certainly doesn't require sex slaves, theocracy, or any kind of government action at all. All this stuff happens at a cultural level. Once the normie culture is "hookup culture is bad, and girls who do it are skanks" women will police each other and shame each other into compliance like they do with every other moral fashion that happens to hit critical mass.

I think you are being pessimistic in underestimating how carefully women monitor each other. "Why didn't you post anything on Instagram tuesday night, Becky? And how come you didn't respond to my snap?". We're living in a panopticon that makes it very hard to hide ANYTHING from prying eyes that are sufficiently motivated. And nothing motivates women more than sniffing out out-of-norm behavior in their peer group.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 05:23 PM
18

Women police each other’s behavior super aggressively. If casual sex became stigmatized each woman finds herself surrounded by her own personal Stasi, relentlessly looking for sex code violations. But it has to become the norm first.

Honestly not having hook-up culture isn't that big of a sacrifice. And it would free up a lot of women for the medium level men, and create a lot fewer alpha widows. Making men commit to publically dating you before boning doesn't seem like such an impossible cultural change, and would probably benefit women as well as men.

The key is to use money to shoot low. Don't try to be a bigshot in NYC or Silicon Valley. Buy a bunch of businesses and homes in a small community. But that has it's own challenges as well, not everyone is cut out to run a lumber mill or a general store. And it's a hell of a lot of work for some pussy that you could rent for $300.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 05:58 PM

Spend 5K to go to a Gala and you'll be swimming with a bunch of sharks who go to every gala. Bring a girl there with you and she'll notice how the other people at the Gala treat you. Spend 20MM to name a Childrens hospital after you and you will absolutely get status. You'll be now at a bigger level of swinging dicks who are incredibly ruthless. Watch Billions to see what that world is like, it's very rough and tumble.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 05:35 PM

Step 3 is remarkably hard. Anyone good at business is good at smelling out bullshit. Vague talk of your "business interests" won't pass the smell test. It's better to figure out some way to fool working class women into thinking you are a bigtime businessman, since they won't have the context to see through your bullshit. But where can you meet them, and how will you handle the working class guys trying to AMOG you? See, it's a hard problem!

Shit tests are automatic, women almost never know they are doing it. A shit test is a challenge to a man where responding to it logically in either direction (yes or no) is a failure. Classic dating examples are talking about sex (you can't act all horny, you can't act embarrassed by the question), asking if these pants make your ass look fat (neither no nor yes is acceptable), asking if you are a player (denying is a failure, boastfully bragging of it is a failure as well). Basically women pres…

In my experience the issue is women want the man to do 50% of the work but want to retain 100% of the control. It should be done to their standard, the WAY they would do it, WHEN they would do it. If a man complies with this he will be taking on a submissive role and she will lose all attraction. So this isn’t about house logistics at all: this is a shit test.

This sub basically ignores the fact that social classes exist I disagree. This sub is one of the few places on the American internet that admins that class exists, and that it's a different thing from wealth/income. One of the things that drives conflict on this sub are the interactions between UMC middle aged women and more working class younger men.

Culture clash. It's hard to relate to their lives. It's hard to say what you think without coming off as snotty or condescending, it's hard for them to relate to your problems. There just isn't a big overlap of shared context to weave connections out of.

I never understand why the men don't bang escorts in that situation.

This is true. The class pill is another separate redpill that Americans are deathly afraid of. I wouldn't even know what to talk to a working class girl about, and she would probably think i was lame AF.

The thing you have to realize is since the incel sub was banned those people infest every sub about masculinity. I haven't even looked at the redpill sub for years, it's toxic AF and useless now. But the core ideas expressed by RP are more useful than the mainstream ideas about dating. Five years ago you couldn't even get women to admit that they liked muscles on a guy ffs. So dudes would become marathon runners and ask why they still weren't getting laid. It's still hard outside of RP discussio…

I think maybe martial arts (BJJ seems to be what a lot of people like) might be a fun hobby and be pretty cheap? Dance is cool if there are cheap group lessons. What about intramural sports, just a softball or kickball league or something like that? Money being a constraint definitely limits you and you should work on that (more hours or ideally more dollars per hour, but you're probably already trying the best you can there).

Regular dating advice doesn't address HOW to flirt. Push/pull, agree and amplify, pressure flip, this is just flirting described in really precise terms by people that are a little bit autistic.

Oh yeah I agree that Red Pill advice is valuable (if you don't dwell on the negativity).

Come on, you went to high school. Football team, coolest guy in class, the person on the camping trip who brought the weed and mushrooms, the guy who just raised a funding round for his startup, the person who organized the party, the leader of the revolutionary cell, the manager of the restaurant. It's completely situational but pretty obvious who's at the center and who's just a bit player, who has power and status and who doesn't. And it's usually men because men do all this shit to get women…

No they liked the coolest guy in a lame class. Or they liked the guy who was richer then them who had access to resources and a cool friend group. That treat them somewhat dismissively yes, and engage in behaviors that seem risky (dealing a tiny bit of weed was the easiest way for a white boy to give off this vibe back when I was in college). Nothing illogical about it. In all great ape species the socially dominant males are the ones who reproduce, we are no different.

I mean it matched the behavior of Ivy League and State School women, and academic/art elite types. Not some stereotype of cluster b party girls or whatever you are thinking of. Women respond to high status by being available for relationships. And if you have high status in a low inhibition environment they respond by giving you casual sex. It's not complicated and it doesn't reflect badly on women.
