How my best friend's bf took her away from meWhile I know chasing isn’t good, and I get too worried for strangers for my own good, I kind of almost wonder if you shouldn’t mention what happened to her family so that they’re aware in case he starts doing it to them one day? This looks a lot like he’s isolating her, and controlling her (the class skipping). That could go terrible too, though, so idk :( this just looks really bad for her. She might be about to learn some really difficult life lessons | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 15/01/21 05:11 AM
Is it just me or is there a mild conspiracy to make women lower their standards of physical attractiveness? That body positive movement is also severely under attack by everyone - men, women, children, anyone. It’s like a seed trying to take root but the water keeps getting diverted because of hatred and that means the problem becomes worse. Continuous release of cortisol.........contributes to weight gain (so calling someone fat or other names probably just makes things worse). Lack of sleep. Trauma. Medication...and yes, I count fast food as a type of medication (anti-medication?) because it is engi… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/01/21 02:40 AM
Choose you every time! What’s even more “funny” about your point: I came across some notes from a class on the history of PSYC and they talked about how women in the 50s were having so much anxiety and stress that it was common for most of them to be on stuff like ...I forget the right drug names, but think heavy duty stuff like prozac. It was common lol, not the exception but common practice. There were clearly things wrong but that side of history rarely gets talked about (it shocked the heck out of me). It’s the sa… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/12/20 07:05 PM
If a man says they are ______. They aren't.“I’m not a runner” - slow faded and ghosted me instead of breaking up with me. He’s become just another harsh life lesson. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/12/20 07:39 PM
I think I miss being singleIt definitely is very painful :( mine was shorter than 5 years but the agony I’ve been through recently....it’s how I’m here at FDS and how ive got a list of things to work on in myself. Life is definitely a very harsh teacher sometimes - test first, lesson later. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 27/12/20 08:38 AM
I think I miss being singleIf you’re a giver, and over thinking about him, and not a fan of online, it almost sounds like you’re an anxious/preoccupied attachment style. Especially from the way another poster here phrased something...it sounds like you aren’t setting boundaries and so you’re ofc getting overwhelmed - if he wants something from you, you’re giving it freely (is what it sounds like anyways). If you’re overwhelmed, that means there should be a boundary you’re setting so you don’t get to that state of overwhel… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 27/12/20 01:12 AM
What are your dealbreakers?Seeing all these kind of really hits home how much work I’ve got to do on myself. I’m similar to another poster in that I really didn’t have much more than the bare minimum on my list. Good driving (which is rare), and no weed/drugs, I think were the big ones...and otherwise it was no abuse/cheating. I’ll have to think about this and zero in on some more. I’ve been learning a lot from FDS and my eyes are open. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/12/20 04:28 AM
