And so did Dollar Shave Club: All Our Lives Would Be Better If We Became More Psychologically Androgynous

Was this in east Germany? There was a large nudist movement in the GDR. I'm from west Germany and it's probably true that we're overall more relaxed with regards to nudity than our American friends, but I've never encountered unisex bathrooms or changing rooms. Even our politically correct student reps in university made an april fool's joke about changing bath rooms, showers and changing rooms into gender-neutral areas. Although that same joke would probably not fly at certain other universitie…

That comment is still not claiming that discrimination doesn't exist. Only that discrimination doesn't factor into the pay gap. And if we look at multi-varied analyses of the pay gap, we can actually not conclusively say if or how discrimination might factor into it, because the remaining 2-6% in wage difference could just as well be caused by unexplored additional factors like differences in salary negotiations.

You're talking to two different people (now three), but let me try: It's true that women and men have statistically differing inclinations towards people vs things. But that's not the only variable that plays into occupational choice. I read that early versions of computer programming jobs often entailed simple forms of data entry. They didn't require the same amount of expertise (education) as they do now, had a different scope and were more suitable for part-time and/or low wage workers (which…

He didn't say that he personally took such a class. But to give you an example of "feminist science": "While there are various versions [of the Feminist Standpoint Theory], the commonalities include endorsement of the following three theses: the situated knowledge thesis, the thesis of epistemic privilege, and the achievement thesis" Situated knowledge thesis: "The thesis of situated knowledge is based in the understanding that knowledge is for and by a particular set of socially situated knower…

While she may be out of prison now, her sentence is far from over. For the next two years she will be on home detention and probation for 15 years. She has also been ordered to serve more than 1,000 hours of community service and speak about the drunk-driving crash to high school and college groups at least five times a year. Her license has also been revoked permanently. -s

Having to perform your courtship display vs. being the one watching it is a heritable trait, in that it corresponds to our role in the reproduction process. The specific mating rituals humans perform are basically just an abstraction of that. For example, I like to send women photographic material of my enormous genitals to convince them of my sexual prowess and favourable genetic traits.

Raw brain processing power Maybe you should invest some of your processing power into Psych 101. And while you're at it, maybe also read up on actual computer processors and realize that even they can be optimized for different tasks at the hardware level.

Just an idea, but if you want to ride another wave of outrage, make it so the app doesn't work for men, but only on women. Bonus points, if it recognizes transsexuals as men. This should generate enough salt to keep your drive way clear over the hard Russian winter.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
