Scientists conducting the world’s largest study of sex differences in the brain have found that men and women think differently. Men and women are different. They have different skills. They are biologically attracted to different jobs. Deal with it.
This is literally taught in gender studies at university. They teach that the scientific method is patriarchal and therefore flawed/bad. They study "alternative research methods" which are basically to just view everything from an intersectional perspective (aka disregard inconvenient facts).
He didn't say that he personally took such a class. But to give you an example of "feminist science":
"While there are various versions [of the Feminist Standpoint Theory], the commonalities include endorsement of the following three theses: the situated knowledge thesis, the thesis of epistemic privilege, and the achievement thesis"
Situated knowledge thesis: "The thesis of situated knowledge is based in the understanding that knowledge is for and by a particular set of socially situated knowers and so is always local—a cultural/social/political “location” characterized by the power relations endemic in such settings."
Thesis of epistemic privilege: "Standpoint theories are mainly used to claim epistemic privilege over socially and politically contested topics on behalf of the perspectives of systematically disadvantaged social groups, relative to the perspectives of the groups that dominate them. The scope of the claimed privilege includes the character, causes, and consequences of the social inequalities that define the groups in question. This type of standpoint theory classically claims three types of epistemic privilege over the standpoint of dominant groups: First, it claims to offer deep over surface knowledge of society: the standpoint of the disadvantaged reveals the fundamental regularities that drive the phenomena in question, whereas the standpoint of the privileged captures only surface regularities. Second, it thereby claims to offer superior knowledge of the modality of surface regularities, and thus superior knowledge of human potentialities. Where the standpoint of the privileged tends to represent existing social inequalities as natural and necessary, the standpoint of the disadvantaged correctly represents them as socially contingent, and shows how they could be overcome. Third, it claims to offer a representation of the social world in relation to universal human interests. By contrast, the standpoint of the privileged represents social phenomena only in relation to the interests of the privileged class, but ideologically misrepresents these interests as coinciding with universal human interests." [from here
TL;DR: This basically goes along with the postmodernist claim, that what a society considers knowledge is a manifestation and reenforcement of power. Additionally it claims that marginalized groups actually possess greater insight into social structures.
Feminist Standpoint theory is a postmodern theory derived from the works of Hegel and Marx and is equivalent to "Marxist Standpoint theory" - just in case anyone was still doubting the validity of Jordan Peterson's term "postmodern neo-Marxists".
For a broader insight into postmodern critique of scientific theory, I recommend reading up about the "Science wars".
Assuming that a job that is mostly occupied by one sex is as a result of discrimination is a silly thing to do.
Disregarding someone for a certain job because of their gender is worse.
The bottom line is, none of this matters. Set the bar for the job, if someone passes the bar, they get the job. The fact that the nature of someone's genitals is even a point of discussion in the hiring process is infuriating.
I've been told flat-out to my face by my internship supervisor that men shouldn't teach in elementary school. It was a crushing act of sexism in the workplace and I know for a fact that my gender negatively affected my final grade.
I don't teach in elementary school. I also don't go around complaining and blaming someone else for that. I didn't like being the police (I'm a big guy, I don't like raising my voice, she basically trained her students to only reply when yelled at), I still teach, but in a different sector.
I don't go around blaming others for my decisions and I don't blame discrimination for the fact that most men aren't interested in teaching in elementary school.
It's surprisingly easy to not blame others for yourself.
There's a lot of stupid people in the world. Pre-social media they would sit at home in silence. Now they go online and torture the world with their lack of thinking ability.
The concept of computer programming during that time was almost incomparable to modern programming. Think of a programmer as more of a secretary like job back then.
why? we know men and women are different since biology exists, read the comments of r/science, they're saying it's a bit of a redundant paper since it only confirms what we know
of course, it gives much more perspective, specially among autism cases, but still, anyone that knows basic biology won't be surprised, in fact, 99% of stem field members don't share the fanatism of feminism with "equality" and "empowerment", and since we are used to analysis, we do know how reality works, how to check if what they say is true or not, and we know how to do analysis truthfully. The other 1% are those rare cases that will defend anything that aligns with their ideology (a doctor defending homeopathy works, for example)
in fact, I'm a physics student and my chief teacher is a MRA that tries to make everything better for both genders, he's awesome overall and spends some time debunking the idiocy of feminism when it's useful for our learning (for example, we analyzed the gender wage gap in statistic analysis, and we proved how false it is, we could've done the same thing with random numbers but that was just awesome)
Both groups are a subgroup of people who are hostile to scientific evidence that goes against their flawed ideology. Modern feminism has parallels with hardcore Christians and Muslims in that respect.
Baffling that people really think all differences are social constructs. I see the differences being reinforced by social structures in feedback loops.
I agree with everything you say here but still think that the gender pay gap is a non-issue that does not need to be fixed. Not all men/women conform to certain stereotypes, but enough do so such that it's not 50/50.
Study? Because we have a real-world example of Australia implementing blind hiring and stopping it because more men were getting hired. We also have the APA showing a direct correlation between "a strong desire to help others" and career choices while also showing that more girls had that desire. This study also found that women were not any less likely to receive an offer from a company, which goes against the "men conspiring" conspiracy, but instead found that women just choose different jobs. Why? Well, in a study that found that women CEOs paid themselves less but had higher satisfaction, women viewed the social aspect as much more important than men did and were happier with receiving less pay if it meant they could make a difference. This is also corroborated by the list of jobs that are predominately female. There vast majority of them are "making a difference".
Its almost as if the whole biology of men is based around protecting their young and mate, while the biology of females since we were apes is to nurture their young and pick the best fit for a parent in their mate
women are too stupid to comprehend logic got one as we speak pissed because i exposed their hypergamy and shes trying to feed me some bullshit lol women will never stop the lies

I agree with everything you say here but still think that the gender pay gap is a non-issue that does not need to be fixed. Not all men/women conform to certain stereotypes, but enough do so such that it's not 50/50.

Where do you get "Let's hate women" out of "Men and women are different"?

That is not attacking women. That's attacking the mindset of "Men have conspired to keep women out of particular jobs".

It's like trying to explain to ISIS that we're all human and it's best we try to get along.
Feminists are simply crazy.
