Hey man, not taking enough time to add value here but just wanted to empathize and wish you all the best to your journey to personal development. You will learn and find joy along the way I am sure - and ultimately if you wish very much you will reach your goals

Do you think one can't learn to ride a bicycle? One can't learn anything? That's the textbook definition of "Fixed mindset" as opposed to "Growth mindset".

Generally speaking, books "work" in the sense that they contain knowledge from people who have done things that you didn't do. If you rely only on your own experiences, you may take alot of time to come up with the conclusions you can learn from those people. So, you can gain this kind of knowledge by reading books. There are people out there who dedicated a large portion of their life to studying a specific topic, seduction included. IF you are interested in learning more about seduction, books…

"Just be yourself" - works well most of the time, doesn't work for everybody. Some need more specific advice to handle social interactions It's like a guy who already knows how to ride a bicycle and tells others to just relax follow your instincts just don't fall and it will be alright

Best romantic option for that time slot Ask women if they want to go on a date with someone they are not interested just to get a free meal - most would prefer no company over bad (i.e. low value) company

I agree with your comment - works well for people with a good natural sense of social skills. Might not work if one needs a bit more explanation on how to interact socially. I feel like putting this much thought into it would kill the fun for me. When you learn to play the guitar, you expect to have fun and spend exciting time, mostly. Then you actually get into the grind of becoming better and better. What do you have to do then? You study it. You learn how to move your fingers, how to become f…

I agree that for many people this should come naturally. And by naturally I mean unconsciously learned to handle social interactions well by mirroring other older males or from previous interactions. For those who did not have the chance to acquire such skills, your comment could be a bit more abstract. It's like you know how to swim, you join a swimming lesson full of people who are here to learn how to swim and you say to the instructor: Yeah, a lot of your instructions would lead to major ove…

Frame the interaction as a man to woman interaction. If you don't do n.2 properly the interaction becomes platonic i.e. just a casual conversation You want to make sure to set the frame of a sexualized interaction. "You and I will not get along" is an indirect way to introduce the notion of her, you, and the relationship between both, which is likely a romantic relationship. She needs to get the message.

Yes and you can do that in a gradient from white to black with subtle tones of grey. What I mean here is that you have control over your ATTENTION. You decide what you focus on. If something is worth your attention you give it the right amount of your focus/time/energy. If it is not, you disengage gradually. And if it does not meet your standards you walk away. This way you direct your ATTENTION, the extreme being to walk away. High value man as you are, your attention is worth millions.

Hey, a dancer who masters his moves does not put tremendous effort while he is performing. He no longer needs to because he practiced again and again and again. He learned all of his moves, all of his frameworks beforehand therefore he no longer has to worry about them. Similarly, when dating girls, you ideally want to know all this "naturally" as you are socially well calibrated. Now if you are not satisfied with the way you interact with women you want to look for a lens through which you unde…

Definitely. You can do the whole thing well except you fail because she isn't attracted to you. So you need to read her level of attraction, which really is "how much she sees you as a man of value" where value can have different meaning for each girl. A good way to destroy that attraction is to state/let her know that you like her and that it's important to you. So, I'd rather imply things, test, play with words, bring uncertainty. You might want to tell her that you usually like girls who are …

Hey sorry about the mention about the 40s guy which I feel was unfortunate. I learned many times that willingness to move forward - raise standards is half the battle. When I hear that you are attending college I also understand that you are indeed looking to raise your standards/change the status quo. For me, finding out one's aspiration comes down to making a choice. It's a choice to make, and the man has to give up the rest, as if you chase two rabbits you will not catch either. You could see…

I'd say keep looking. However you don't want to be the one saying "I never knew what to do and now I'm 40". That's not so good. So at some point decide that something is worth your entire focus and start building something around it. Take aim, even badly at first. Of course you will not be good at things in the beginning. Then comes the process of trial and error. Begin by making clear choices about where you will be good at and where you won't. Be specific. Visualize it. https://www.reddit.com/…

Hi, I'm reading again this reply. You might want to have a clear vision of what you want to become good at and work towards that. I'd say it's the only way to mastering anything

In your case I'd say you only need one concept in mind: ESCALATION A date is not just an interaction where you just hang out spend nice time. It serves a purpose like a job interview. As such you need to gradually move towards what you want to achieve. She has to feel closer to you emotionally and physically. That you do by lowering her guards one by one, it starts with casual chat, then emotional connection, light touch, more intense touch, strong eye contact, and then you act on it. She has to…

If it doesnt come naturally, try this quick framework Open: light fun conversation to get her to be comfortable talking to you Premise: establish man to woman interaction Evaluate: show that she could fill the available position you have of being your girlfriend or whatever you're looking for Narrative: develop rapport story that's the reason why she would be invested in you (emotions) Close: go for what you're looking for (the kiss, the next date, physical escalation...)

I'm also not locked down with my recent girlfriend so it raises the point of how much should I sexualize the interactions. Overall it seems to me that the same conversation rules as long distance relationship apply such as avoid making platonic discussions about things, instead keep focus on "me", "you", and "us". Keep conversations fun and use flirting & teasing i.e. playful comments about "us". Lockdown provides plenty of opportunity to explore that aspect. When it comes to sexualization & dir…

There are five main channels to meet women. Focus on the one that reflects your personality the most. Nowadays the go-to channel is online dating. Social groups (your friends, friends of friends...) Shared activities (including colleagues) Online dating (Tinder and such) Cold approach (at a party or at a bar, even in the street, and saying "hi I'm xxx") Fame (celebrity, college athlete, music band...)

You shouldn't text her good morning or good night nor should you keep her "warm" with texts. Constant texting is the easiest way to lose attraction That being said because of this special lockdown situation, I know some are doing video dates. I know it's unusual and there is no possibility to kino escalate however you could do one casual video date and make her want more.

I take notes of key infos of the book, i.e. book summary. I try to read many times to make sure I understand and apply the concepts. Yes, the sense of "knowing that whatever happens, it will be alright" comes from practice and experience. A man who has this kind of confidence but has no practice nor experience is only an optimist. When you have enough practice you know that you are in control of the situation and if it goes sideways, you don't have to worry because you will succeed again next time.

Here are my top 10 books for a meaningful life I came from a family that had a fixed mindset as opposed to growth mindset. People with fixed mindset tend to think we are born with certain immutable qualities while people with growth mindset tend to think that anyone can learn anything. It's well explained in the two books Mindset (Dweck), The Art of Learning (Waitzkin). Hopefully I was able to acquire a growth mindset by accidentally reading The Easy Way to Stop Smoking (Carr) and Existentialism…

If we take "cooking" for example, I am a confident cook when I know that I have enough experience and skills to make good meals. Sometimes the meal will not be as good, but I won't break down thinking "oh my god, I'm a bad cook, I will never get it right". Instead, my confidence allows me to be "outcome independent" as I know deep down that I am good at cooking. For me it's the same with meeting women.

Hey When you're in the interaction with the girl, it's alright to think about "how much attracted to you she is" and "what to say next". You should actually. I mean you should have it in mind, but also be in control of your emotions it shouldn't be an overwhelming feeling of lack of control or fear. Does that make sense? One way to ensure a sense of confidence could be to prepare a roadmap for the interaction and refer to it when you're lost. Eventually it will become part of you and you can dit…

Hey, You have to set the frame of the conversation as a "man to woman interaction". I was watching the Netflix show Elite, in this show everybody hooks up with everybody. It was fun to see how they open. At some point one of the guys says to the girl "Hey are you trying to flirt with me right now? Because it didn't work on me" With this sentence, he is precisely setting up the "frame" of the interaction. The girl can't avoid the fact that this interaction is now a "man to woman interaction". Every man has to learn how to meet/interact/seduce women at some point in his life. Due to the randomness of life, some learn earlier, others later. Some marry their first love, never learning further, some learn more by spending years dating. Not all men learn the same way: Some learn from elder successful males that were around when we were young, like an alpha father, brother... Some learn by themselves from their first interactions and relationships with women Some have to err, experience fa…

After the breakup I’ve realised I don’t want a relationship right now maybe some time in the future, right now I want to learn how to attract women That's the best decision you could make. As you become a better person, women will come to you. It's great that you realize you can improve the way you interact with women. Let me list for you several areas you can work on (not exhaustive). If I were you I'd have sexually escalated the day she told you about her fuck buddy. Women show their availability by hanging near you for a while. She can only hope the man gets it and knows how to properly escalate. After a while, she will realize he doesn't know how to escalate and begin to lose interest I wasn't there to assess so I could be wrong, but she probably wanted you to escalate much earlier.

What do you think women are attracted to in men? Power, leadership, social calibration, physical genetics, physical fitness, ability to print money, style, emotional intelligence, knowledge, core confidence... Older men who worked on themselves are better versions of themselves when they were 20 in all those criterias. From the woman's perspective she is way more attracted to that kind of man. Consequently: As a younger man (e.g. 20yo) your pool of women is basically age 18-20. You can meet outs…

Chat her up a bit, gauge her interest, spark some fun (tease, banter and such) and set up a date. Sexual attraction is basically decided by her before you've even opened your mouth, and isn't negotiable tbh. Haha that's outright wrong. Why would 'game' even exist if it's all determined by pre-open haha How can power, dominance, leadership, social status turn women on if it's all pre-determined by the interaction lol Suppose you meet a girl at a bar, she rejects you. Do you think she won't be attracted if a bit later she realizes you're: leader of men, preselected by other women, protector of…

This is only beginning, man. You're higher value now than you used to be. And if you keep working on yourself your peak will be more at 28-32 than 22. And even there, you will keep becoming higher value if you do the right things. I don't think the girl became less hot? Only if she was a 7 and at that time you were a 4 she was unattainable, now you can get her so she appears less hot to you.

You can spark intense positive emotions that create sudden attraction though... most often in the form of a DHV - in the form of a story, teaching her something, finding out that you are the leader of your high value social group, seeing you get in your high value car, a surprisingly interesting sense of humor...
