I’m the same age & in the exact same position as you brother. It can be lonesome at times feeling like you’re the only dude focusing primarily on self-improvement rather than chasing women and other worthless endeavors, but posts like these make it clear we’re not the only ones. Stay strong & keep grinding brother. It’ll pay off for us both and those like us

I’ve felt the same, been single my whole life. However, I’ve had plates tell me they couldn’t date me, then basically explain in short how my smv was too high for them and they couldn’t deal with the thought of me being with other girls. Keep living the rp lifestyle brother. Life is never ending suffering, but I’d rather suffer with options than live the life of a beta with only one

Like the guys above said, more time for self-improvement. Meditation, lifting, martial arts, day-trading, reading, etc.

Same shit happened to me in high school. Kept my head down, lifted, worked, grinded through the remainder. Allowed me to prosper with ease through college, both financially & especially with girls. Just grind through the next few months brother. It sucks, but you’ll thank yourself for it once you’re in uni

I was in a similar situation when I first started college. Tried to fit in at first, but eventually made me miserable. A year in I just owned the fact I was a scrappy kid in a preppy school. Girls dug it. Lames hated it. I enjoyed myself either way & left much more confident & competent than when I first started. Wish you the best brother, enjoy your time there & make the most of it.

hey man you're only one semester in. The friends I started college with were no longer friends when I finished (thank god) You'll find new, better friends along the way brother. better to find out now that your former friends were fucking losers now rather than investing more time with them only to find out later wish you the best

If you wanna put on mass you best skip the cardio and devote that energy towards increasing your lifts. Might wanna up your calories as well. We need more info boss (height, weight, current macros, current workout split, etc. )

All this right in front of her parents’ place??
/r/askTRP11/01/19 05:35 AM

Try integrating more walking into your day-to-day. Park the car further away, or even walk to the gym instead of driving if it’s close enough. Good way to burn more calories without increasing appetite or reducing energy for your lifts

Lol looks like somebody got dealt shit genetics
/r/askTRP08/01/19 05:14 AM
3

not much you can do about bad genetics, all you can do is make the most of what you've got. either way complaining on reddit on being dealt shitty genetics and old age isn't going to help you at all. go get it son
/r/askTRP07/01/19 06:52 AM
2

Time doesn't mean much either. 99% of people in the gym are there for a jaw workout. I see people in the gym daily who are there when I arrive and still there when I leave who are fatasses year-round. Sticking to a well structured routine & diet will yield incredible results in a relatively short amount of time if you give it 110% Very simple, but very few will actually do it because it requires work
/r/askTRP07/01/19 06:51 AM
5

dude I'm sorry but pulling the steroid card is a typical beta cop-out. just build the best strongest physique you can with the genetic hand you were dealt. you'd be surprised what's achievable with consistent hard work in the iron paradise. I know I was
/r/askTRP07/01/19 06:13 AM

best post I've seen on here in a while man, took the words right out of my mouth. Wish I had guidance to offer you but seems like we're in the exact same boat brother, wish you the best, let's hope we come out of it
/r/askTRP02/01/19 07:02 AM

dude your logic makes no sense. you're complaining about kids younger than you being able to move the same weight as you yet your primary goal is to lose weight. should shift your focus to making gains in both strength and size if that is the case. furthermore if you were "not new to it" like you say you are, you wouldn't be having these problems in the first place. stop crying about it here on reddit and find yourself a split that delivers results.
/r/askTRP31/12/18 01:28 AM
1

lol don't just give up, in the beginning what you gotta do is try a few splits, working each for a couple months at a time, and sticking to the one that delivers you the best results and caters best to your lifestyle. I remember when I first started I was overwhelmed with advice, both good and bad, and after about 2 years I finally found a regiment that worked best for me. Been sticking to the same split for the past 2 & 1/2 years and have seen great results
/r/askTRP30/12/18 06:37 AM
1

I still follow ppl when I cut, but I def steer my focus mainly towards maintaining my heavy lifts so I minimize my muscle loss. Not entirely sure how I feel about full body workouts, they seem like they'd be alright when bulking but not so much when cutting
/r/askTRP30/12/18 05:52 AM
2

focus on maintaining your lifts and losing only 1-1.5 pounds/week depending on your body fat percentage. As you get leaner, the amount of weight you should lose per week should decrease (diminishing returns)
/r/askTRP30/12/18 04:59 AM
1

no problem boss, wish you the best! that 225 bench will come real quick
/r/askTRP28/12/18 05:29 AM
1

Here I am thinking I was the only dude who did this haha
/r/askTRP28/12/18 05:13 AM
2

At your height and weight you will need at least 3000 calories a day to make significant gains in strength and size. no offense, but you shouldn't worry so much about being lean if you can't even put up 225 on bench yet. Your abs don't mean much if you can't move anything heavy haha If I were you, I'd raise your calories to the 3000-3500 range. Based on the info you've provided, you should make significant gains in both strength and size with minimal fat gain
