Good feedback on teasing coworkers, thanks. I'm using that as an excuse to feel like I did something 'Alpha' and it's really just fancy mental masturbation. RE Work Conflict ... He is senior to me in a different department, pitches a lot of bad "We should all do X" ideas that consume resources in other departments, and the owner is very suggestible/clueless about our tech. To be clear I have no need to vengefully destroy this dude, but I need to make him irrelevant to my day-to-day work.

Hey, thanks for this. I'm so bad at cold approach/opening that this kind of incremental, training wheel stuff really helps.

Personal experience with porn: There's no magic bullet, but Dr. Glover's approach in NMMNG works a hell of a lot better than NoFap. If you suspect you're going to relapse, go jerk off in the bathroom before you pull up any screens. If you can break the compulsive connection to your electronic device, you've won 80% of the battle. I suspect a properly ordered brain-to-dick connection should be something like: Ejaculating in, on or around a woman = Nice Ejaculating in my hand without a woman = Not…

This will be a great opportunity to work on “when I say no I feel guilty” fogging, negative inquiry, negative assertion and most importantly broken record. Exactly this. There's no tactical advantage to be gained at this point. You just need to practice clearly telling people what you want. Your wife is a convenient person to practice on. In a few thousand reps maybe you can start thinking tactically. Speculation: If you're not setting boundaries with your wife, you're probably not setting bound…

Either don't attempt numbers closes since I have no real intention or desire for following up on them and just keep it flirty. Or treat any of my number closes attempts as if they're public knowledge and fully own all consequences of my actions. Being afraid has alsk shown me that my onitis is not gone. Business Networking and Hobbies are both great ways to keep all your contacts out in the open, and maintain "Plausible Deniability" a-la Mystery Method on both ends. Meaning neither the catch/rel…

I appreciate this warning, I've removed the following paragraph, along with all "She" statements. I will assume that this type of thing is a superfluous victim puke regardless of how I frame it. Please advise if this is the appropriate action, I would like to participate in this forum in a more valuable manner moving forward. (( Context: She is bad at accounting, but convinced she's "good with money" due to bursts of guilt driven thriftiness. In the past I have quickly scanned accounts throughou…

Yep. Your spreader bar is a lot cleaner from a design standpoint. I like D-rings because they can be attached to anything and have a natural "hinge" due to their shape. I don't fuck with knots, I keep assorted length ropes which already have carabiners permanently attached to both ends. These can be repurposed on the squat rack, over a door, around the couch legs, etc.

Wanting something that was easy, but still felt rugged, I built my rig with gym ankle straps, assorted carabiners and pre-cut lengths of shibari rope. Knot each piece of rope with a carabiner on both ends, attach the cuffs to the wrists and ankles (easy and comfortable enough to leave on throughout a session) and you have a lighting-fast and versatile restraint system that can be pre-configured or changed on the fly. D-rings and Non-Stick Tape can be used to turn literally any object into an anc…

Makes sense! So the similarity between this example of what NOT to do (self sabotage) and what some in RP do intentionally (practicing game) is purely coincidental.

This is a lot of MRP buzzwords for OYS #1, how long were you mentally masturbating before you decided to post? Years wasted lurking and trying to validate RP concepts with more research and ancillary reading, instead of application. I am a masterful mental masturbator. Good call. There are diminishing returns posting about lifts here. How so? Are you saying the value of posting about lifts tapers off for the poster, for the community, or something else? Thanks for advice on the squat, I am defin…

Thanks, and yes. Example #3 describes my relationship down to the letter. I'm not even a drunk captain, I'm a drunk first mate reporting to a shitty captain.

Yup 100%. My sense is that, covert contract or not, I need to continue talking dirty and increasing dominant behavior in the bedroom for three reasons. 1) stopping because she brought it up would be purely reactive. 2) Getting the reps in is helpful for my confidence and creativity, same reason I practice anything. 3) Normalizing more dominant behavior in the bedroom seems broadly beneficial, even if I'm not going to reap much of reward in the short term until I unfuck my frame.

That makes sense! I'm almost definitely overthinking the first two titles. Staying internet-bound I've only read Day Bang, The Game and a bunch of Rollo blogs.

This is practical advice, thanks! EDIT: I bought both on Audible and am working on WISNIFG and realizing what a pathetic post this is. My unwillingness to assert myself has literally dipped into paranoia.

u/testingblocks made a pretty good point. NMMNG and WISNIFG have boring enough titles that they shouldn't create serious issues. I run the risk of light mockery with NMMNG but nothing I can't shut up and ignore. It's the PUA and Rollo stuff that will deploy hamster cavalry.
