Why the fuck is this even a question?? You would seriously watch another human be financially enslaved because....why? A number of people know. I'm sure your not the only one your drunk buddy is shooting his mouth of to. And you said there other people are mumbling. I'm guessing this is made up anyways.

That's for sure. I'm in the 17th month of drama after finding out my SAHM wife of 18 years was fucking a "friend" of mine, so I know this reality more than I care to.

I second. Would happily throw $5 at this brother (if he needs it. Not sure if that was clear in the post)

I disagree. I think more often she is not fucking out of fear. If you got married, she did find you attractive. Unless you put on a lot of weight or really let yourself go, she probably still thinks you have an attractive appearance. Once you've made it clear that your done with the mediocre bullshit, have the balls to look outside, and the confidence to attract another woman, she will likely regain the attraction she once had for you. She is probably not fucking you out of "fear", unless she th…

Thank you so much for the inspiration. I'm in the late stages of battling the exact same scenario, except in my case the 'other man' is married and wants nothing to do with my wife. I'm trying to work through it with her, but everyday it becomes more clear that it's futile. The red pill is lodged in my throat. I'm trying to get it down, but fuck, it is bitter.

Maintained a mission outside of his marriage maybe? Appeared outcome independent. Be an authoritive leader. Being a husband is hard work, just like being a captain of a boat is. You can't ask your wife "where would you like to go on vacation? ", you say "we are going to <fillintheblank>". If she wants to provide input, you consider it and make the decision. You need to lead them and provide direction and feedback. You need to treat them like a subordinate, but emotionally connect with them at th…

/u/ericxfresh and /u/halsterr, thank you so much. The past two days I have really been thinking through what you have said. After a decade of living with someone who has virtually zero interest in what I do, I have become conditioned to think that what I do (and who I am) is boring. After reading your comments, I realized that there are probably women out there that would think the things I have done are impressive/interesting. I've traveled to Mumbai, South Korea, Chihuahua MX, and Brazil. I've…

I would also like to sign up for the sex meetup hobby group (just not the solo one, I've got that hobby down pat).

Thanks. And especially my profession (software engineering) is typically something that would bore the pants off of the ladies...wait a minute.... Also, is this really a majority of 20 somethings on here? I got the impression it was a pretty good missed bag.

Originally I was told to avoid swimming because if the circular motion of the arm, but thinking about it, certain swimming styles should be ok for my range of motion. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yep. Still hitting the gym, just doing high rep low weight for chest, avoiding shoulder all together, and focusing on legs, back, and arms (tris and bis). I really enjoy it, but again doesn't seem like something that would make me more interesting (besides physically)...

Yep. Read it and also Models. Models is a great book. On my second time around. Was thinking of reading NMMNG again, but thought I might read something I could talk about with someone of the opposite sex.

Yeah, looking at reports on tinder responses, it's obvious that a really handsome guy has an advantage ask else being equal.

I'm sorry but these are terrible suggestions. "All the single ladies" is about s woman who left her boyfriend because he wouldn't marry her. "Let it go" is a woman singing about following her feelings. "Independent Woman"... ok, now your just being an ass.

I came to a lot of these realizations after another post (http://www.reddit.com/r/asktrp/comments/1vn0nb/trouble_invoking_dread_game/). Trying to invoke dread games requires you to be able to game a little. As of now, I have no game.

Thanks, but "alpha male in look" is probably not correct. While my description is alpha, I held her on the highest pedestal. I went way out of my way to make the most insignificant improvement for her. I consistently showed DLV trying to appease her. For the past 5 years, my philosophy was "When she comes to bed frustrated, she doesn't want sex. I need to do everything in my power to remove all sources of frustration from her life to maximize my likelihood for sex." <<<This killed any remanence …

Thanks for the great advice. We have been pretty much sexless since she told me how she feels. I've been hitting the weights pretty hard and have lost quite a bit of weight and would say i'm in pretty good shape for my age. Trying to find a hobby, but not having much luck. I really need to find a group or something to participate in rather than just bars. My biggest problem is gaming other women. I just made another post that maybe you can read and provide you input on since you really sound lik…

Thanks dude. She had the IUD removed about a month ago. She's been seeing a counselor for about a month. I understand that this stuff can take a while (counselor says a good rule of thumb is about one month per year of bad relationship, I'm guessing we had 4 or 5 years of rough relationship). I think I read somewhere it can take 4-6 weeks for the IUD to drop its affects. I'm still with her because (a) we have three kids and (b) my shitty self confidence. I'm my own worst enemy. My confidence has…

That is the deepest thing I have thought all day. (I'm also shitfaced on a train stuck in the Chicago suburbs due to the weather, so it may not be too deep).

I'm 42. and yeah, I'm shaving my head leaving only about an 1/8" of stubble. Use the same size trim attachment to shave my beard (leaving just a bit of stubble on the face).

Thanks for the great advice. I've read (and re-reading) MMSL MAP Primer by Athol and also "No More Mr. Nice Guy". Real eye openers. One of the flaws with "Nice Guys" is there indecisiveness. And I have had a major problem with that. I think I need to spend some hours/days really thinking about what I want and move on that. We have 3 kids, I make a very reasonable buck, and she has no higher education and only works part-time for some spare cash. A divorce would definitely cost me (cash and relat…
