Awh no problem! I’m just thinking of the things i did. I was in a similar situation of being young and not having anyone to commiserate with. So the mommy and me groups were great. A crying baby definitely triggers adrenaline and a stress response but i think if he commits to therapy not all hope is lost. The thing that would be a deal breaker would be lack of self awareness and secrecy so those are very key traits he has which is so good.. Unfortunately parenting does not come naturally to a lo…

Hmmm its hard to say bc he (and you) are so young. But you know they say you cant teach an old dog new tricks so his age will hopefully work to his advantage. I will add… 1. The first baby is def the hardest because you dont know whats “normal” and youre kind of flying by the seat of your pants and get overwhelmed quickly. So what he did probably came from just fear and pure frustration and was kind of an impulsive automatic response… so if he saw a counselor, preferably male, once a week i woul…

Wow did he not know that babies cry before creating one? Sounds like he has a serious lack of attachment to his own child and needs to get to work on that asap. And thats regardless if yall stay together. If he’s a divorced dad he’ll still need to deal with his child properly. I’m trying to stay calm…….. definitely therapy specifically focused on parenting Silver lining: he told you and he knew it was wrong. I think as long as he’s self aware things will improve! As for your own self care and th…

Honey you need therapy and inpatient treatment. Read about what nun mode is. Based on your history you sound like youre deep in a psychosis and at high risk for suicide. I’m concerned about how you’re planning on living your life and what your goals are. Delete your reddit account and stay with some family members who can watch you. 27 is too old to not be on medication and managing your mental illness

Yall I’m gonna state the obvious here but a lot (more and more) posts about relationships have been giving me heart attacks. I just cant fathom tolerating this behavior from a husband.

Exactly and I like that they have categories like fitness, relationship etc so it’s an easy template for everyone to follow. Of course we can add categories like beauty/skincare, fashion, homemaker skills and childcare etc. it think it’d be really cool especially for newer or younger members to be able to document their progress and see how far they’ve come

The mbti thing is such BS. When you mature a little more you won’t try to stuff your personality into a label and if you take that quiz again in a few years it’ll be different. Infj is for angsty teenagers

I had a relationship where I waited 6 months and we’ve been together now for 3 years. I had a relationship where I waited maybe a month or 2 and the whole thing was the worst train wreck imaginable. To be honest there’s so many factors. I’m a very conservative person but before you get married you should have a good idea of chemistry on that level. When it should happen I honestly can’t say without personally knowing you 23 and a virgin for a male is abnormal in my opinion though.

This is so unnecessarily long first of all. You really should’ve just gotten yourself off. This whole post seems nutty and unhinged. There’s way too much to unpack to give your advice for the future I will add, this is a comment from another user on a previous nutty post you made to this sub: “It honestly sounds like the two of you have no chemistry to start off with, meaning his inexperience is seen and experienced by you as inadequacy.” You need to end this relationship and work on yourself be…

No advice as I’m not very interior decor inclined but just wanted to say this is adorable! My only tip would be to shop at home goods and Wayfair for good quality affordable and unique pieces

You sound like you don’t want to contribute or put in any effort to a relationship. There are times in life where It’s best to focus on school and not be dating.

The drinking and smoking is disgusting. I don’t think your son will have a good home with him being in charge. You’re not breaking it up, your husband’s actions are.

Okay that’s good! Is he generally a pretty verbal person or are words of affirmation a struggle? not just about appearances but other things as well like cooking? Unless he’s been explicit in criticism about you I would really hope this is just an issue of being on the same page as far as expressing yourselves. I don’t think he would propose if he legitimately thought you were unbecoming. We all can’t be super models but he wouldn’t spend his life with you if he thought you were ugly
