I think it would be really nice, I love accountability threads. I imagine there's a lot of small stuff people want to get off their chest but feel like it isn't worth it's own post.

This is a hard one. Because if I were to post an OYS right now, I would want to say, “here’s 5 ways he’s been irritating me: 1)”

But we aren’t supposed to complain in specifics.

I could reframe it as: “I’ve been irritated, but here is what I could do better:”

But the facts are: I’m not there yet. I want to complain. That’s my true OYS. I’m not over it yet.

OYS on MRP atleast gives you a little bit of leeway’s to describe how you’ve failed specific tests, or DEERED, and the men who respond can make harsh comments about what a loser you are. Maybe that kind of rhetoric works better for men, the locker room banter.

But I can’t imagine RPW responding to my OYS with “yeah you suck, you sound mean”

And I’m also not ready to admit “this is my fault”

So as a RPW I don’t want to do a true, real, deep, gritty OYS

It would be better to wait for me to control my demons, succeed, and then say “I have a success story.”

That’s my critique of this idea.

I think it's interesting to think about. There's evidence of there being past "own your stuff" threads on redpillwomen, redpillwives, and the Christian women RP subreddit. I wasn't around to watch the OYS demise but it seems like lack of interest did the latter two in.

Marriedredpill talks a lot about how they're saving the man and not the marriage. Most or all of the categories are about their individual development and there is little focus on how others are behaving. I think this works really well for them.

But I'm not sure it would work here. It's not as simple as women copying what the men are doing. We need to figure out what would work for us. Would the emphasis be on saving the relationship over the women? Equal emphasis to both whenever possible? So much of improving yourself as a woman on this sub is improving how you interact with your loved ones.

Here's another example: I've yet to see a female OYS where they fill out the lifts and bodyfat percentage section. I think if we wanted to design an OYS that works for women, we could consider using primarily just waist to hip ratio. We should really think through each section and adapt it to what the goals of this sub are.

I've thought about something like describing one's relationship "highlights" and "lowlights" over the past week. Maybe that would be fun. I haven't worked it out yet.

Sooo did we land anywhere on this? Is this something we need mod approval for? Can someone just post a weekly thread, until if/when mods can set up an automod to do it? It seems like there’s a good bit of interest!
