On what basis?

Not clear her degree is useless; it says "MBA 2011."

You failed the most basic shit test. The proper answer to her question about subway safety is, "I dunno, I haven't put much thought into it. But it's so important that I'll need time to think it over."

Given your point of view, I believe you have a better chance of rewarding relationships with men than those feminists.

You can't fix stupid. Act accordingly.

Just... don't. Been there, done that.

And this is why male Irish footballers will play for some other country.

Psst ... I'm an atheist, too.

Noted. Swingstar731 votes to remove religion from the list. Do you care to suggest a better criterion?

You may be a dude, but your profile comments suggest otherwise.

Which items say 1950s to you? If it were about the 1950s, you would see homemaking, being a pleasant wife, having a good appearance when the husband comes home, etc

LOL guess you don't look so good by those criteria! Good luck to you, too.

in the dating process, don't give any hint that you have money or prospects for making a lot of money.

Why let feminists occupy your skull rent free? Ignore them.

Maybe not you, but others aren't. Besides, if the legal system assumes that women don't lie, then it seems likely that other women are more likely to make false accusations.

Ok that's better. However, I don't think it's worth suspending due process over it.

It's not your job to make baseless assertions.

I have no opinion but am open to persuasion. Nothing you offer is persuasive...just links to articles rather than credible peer reviewed research.

I suggest you come better prepared.

That article is flimsy. If that is all you have, you haven't got much.

One can always do better. But it certainly worked for me!

My empathy for the elderly stops while they are rude to me. I then say what needs to be said and move on.

Perhaps you might refrain from making assertions when you are unclear.

The term 'karen' has a certain negative connotation of its own. Your suggestion is symmetrical, mine is one upsmanship.

I wasn't interested in empathy. I was interested in establishing a boundary.

There's more than one way to do this and yours is certainly a reasonable approach. I would probably do yours if my SO didn't stop after my witty comeback but that hasn't been necessary.

If my PSA doesn't work for you then don't do it. Maybe what would work for you is sighing deeply and then lecturing your SO about the importance of not engaging in petty insults with a tone of voice that invokes the patriarchy. Or maybe you would be better off weeping. Whatever works for you. I know what works for me.

I disagree. The first step to strengthening men's rights is to push back against nasty comments (like "mansplaining") that diminish the dignity of men.

My 80 year old mother sometimes does this. I make fun of her to her face when she does this.

You seem like a decent person. The problem is that whiners are gonna whine, whether about cis white men or whatever cause de jour is popular. I don't waste my time on them nor should you imo.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
