Update: if you think the list below is all about finding a 1950s woman, please explain exactly which items imply that.

Original post: Idon't see politics favoring men's rights anytime soon. I also know that people want to get married.

So let's get some practical advice out there. In a wife, what are some practical criteria men can take to reduce the risk of the marriage ending in divorce?

It's possible that if we men discipline ourselves to avoid women who are an unacceptable divorce risk, that women will adapt to what works for us.

Here are my thoughts:

(a) avoid social justice warriors

(b) avoid gender studies majors

(c) don't marry until at least age 25

(d) avoid women from families with a lot of failed marriages

(e) avoid women with high body counts for their age

(f) avoid women with tattoos, oddly colored hair, etc

(g) avoid women in careers characterized by high divorce rates

(h) avoid women who associate with people who approve of divorce, either on social media or in person

(i) avoid women who are irreligious

(j) avoid women who are bad with money

(k) avoid women who have been divorced already

(l) avoid SINBAD (Single Income No Boyfriend And Desperate)

(m) avoid women who have a life style that seems to exceed whatever income their job creates

(n) avoid women with lousy credit reports

(o) avoid women who carry credit card debt (rather than pay it all off every month)

I'm quite sure that a large percentage of women don't pass those criteria. So be it.
