Been on this site for like ten years and this is a surprise. (sort of) Well, looks like Reddit is finally dead to me. I'll not log back in for a long time, if ever again. Let these fucking loons have it, I only hung around for one sub anyways. Adios.

Second this. Mirror's Edge is one of my favorite games out there. The second one is kinda...meh. Faith in the first game has flaws, and she really had to fight through a tough life to be the person she became. It wasn't just handed to her, like most games these days. That game spoke to me on a lot of levels, there was no fem-power garbage in it. I truly wish they had kept the series going, but Catalyst is enough for me to be satisfied, seeing the direction it took.

This is something I wish I'd known years ago. I was feeling really desperate (in my simp days) and decided to try an escort. It didn't end how I wanted it to and she left after rubbing my back for fifteen minutes. Shit cost me $250. I was livid to get played like that. It was that moment alone which me on the path to become MGTOW, even though I didn't fully commit to the mindset until about 2 years ago. Now I follow the ideas of this philosophy with a fervor you gentlemen have called, "monastic …

If you're interested in learning behavior I'd recommend the Ellipses Manual. There's a lot in there that lets you uncover the masks of people (everyone, male and female) and teaches you plenty about body language, deceptive behaviors, and how to control situations smoothly. Lots more too, but give it a shot. Your eyes will be opened. Couple that with the 48 Laws of Power and ooooh, baby. I wonder what those two together could do to a man. I really do.

Cool. Guess I'll take my leave then, run off and live in a jungle in India or something. They're loving being essential, I'm starting to dig being non essential, so let 'em take the whole jackpot. Isn't that what they want?

Damn, some intense anger in this post. First off, sorry about your dad, losing a parent young sucks. I lost my mother at 7, it changes you in some real serious ways. Your red pill rage is overwhelming here, but in my mind I can see where you're coming from. I kind of had a relationship like that with my stepmother, and I noticed similar things you did. I had the same response Also, I'm gonna take a guess here that you're younger. Dude , think of your future. One day you'll likely leave home and …

I'm starting to come to the same conclusion you did a year ago. For the last six years I've gone really heavy on the pot and its effects are starting to show now that I must take a break. Now, I will acknowledge that it's not physically addictive. But I certainly had a mental dependency attached. Fortunately it's my only crutch (booze, coke...meh- won't say no to the psychedelics, though) so once I get past it, I'm straight edge. Being dry and broke during this lockdown is starting to make my at…

This is eye-opening my friend. I am from India too (Calcutta, born there) yet was adopted as an infant in the US. Reading all the stuff on here makes me wonder what my life over there would be like had I stayed, and all I can do is shudder. Someday I hope to return to India, just to see what it's like. Although I know it deep in my heart that I NEVER want to meet my real mother based off the stories here. My childhood in the US was no cakewalk, but difference between here and there is how much f…

I would refer to Law 38 in this case and save it for later. Check out the 48 Laws of Power if you haven't, great read.

Ehhh, Rick and Morty is okay...I was personally sucked into the buzz of it during its better time (read: pre season 3). Now that I think about it, it's just okay. Although, on another note if you're into wacky Adult Swim shows I very, very highly recommend you try out Xavier: Renegade Angel. It's the best shittiest show I've ever seen.

Raised in UT too. Oh, how I don't miss that. Not really a reason of why I left, but damn am I glad that everyone around me won't start pestering me soon to get married. Also, it really irritated me to see kids who were like 21 or 22 (after mission age, some even before) get married and have more "credibility" simply because they could say "I do." That's something that annoyed me so much several years ago I forgot about it until now. Oh, well. Glad to see you here. Utah's got some goddamn bea…

Wow. I grew up in this town for approximately 21 years. Pretty small town, used to be way more quiet than it is now. (trying to develop quickly but not quite as fast as other cities) Been wanting to visit again lately, but should I ever return to this place I intend to go only to the canyons and mountains just outside. Always sad to see my hometown in the news for stupid shit like this. Last time it was goddamn tide pods and college kids.

Reading the 48 Laws of Power currently, as well. It's a great book, really makes you think.

Have to agree with this sentiment, though my one cooking passion is French fries. Before I got heavy into making fries I loved all sorts of fries from different places. Still enjoy them from time to time but several old favorites are now tasteless. Man, once you realize the power that YOU have in making your food, beer, what have you, a lot more fucks start to be given about quality. And it's awesome. To take pride in craft well made is one of the better feelings in life, I swear.

Now this I gotta see. I wonder to myself a lot about who I would have been had I actually stayed in India. Think it might be a week stay, maybe two. Probably won't even stay in Kolkata long. It is where I was born, however. For some strange reason it's important I see it for what it is--spit and all. Assholes, too, I guess.

I was born in Kolkata, yet was adopted to the States as an infant. Have been wondering about going back there sometime in the near future, just not sure if I'll have any of this shit pulled on me. Lately I've been hearing nothing good about India. Kind of makes me re-consider, but I think it's something I oughta do sooner than later. Thankfully I am on my own, no crazy Indian parents to nag me into finding a wife. Man, I used to be bitter about not really knowing my parents but now that I'm an…

Feels like we are a lot alike. I am from India, was adopted into the Western part of the US as a baby. For a long, long time I could not control my desires to find a girl who "completed" me. It kinda sucked for a bit, didn't do me or my image good at all. Thankfully, I don't know my real parents otherwise I'm sure I'd have to deal with that nagging horseshit of "go find a girl", "the perfect one is out there for you"...Then again, I am brutally curious how Indian parents can be. Eh, think I'll j…

Love it! Metal ain't my strong suit though. When you weigh 100 lbs, I am saddened to say that the double bass pedals move me around, lol. Still, something to work towards, I guess. Thanks for posting!

Yup, you got it. Easier for fills and such. Admittedly, I do sometimes play both ride and hi-hat with my right hand, but as in all things drumming, it's very situational. May I guess by your username exactly which genre you enjoy the most? Can't go wrong with good metal.

To the fellow drummers of MGTOW: Let's collaborate! Here's a set list of some of my favorite songs to play. You are indeed seeing that correctly. Truth be told I prefer the ride on the left side close to the hi-hat. That way I can interchange between hi-hat, snare, and ride easily. Pretty weird, but I'm a right handed dude that plays the hi-hat left handed only. Hopefully that doesn't make me a weirdy, haha.

Get help. Please. There are many girls out there who would love to be with you and share something with you, but it all starts in loving yourself. I know that is hard. I've been there too, and by no means am I successful with women. I must constantly remind myself that attachment and expectation is the cause of suffering for many. Attaching to the idea of a girl making me happy is painful, as is the sky high expectation of that fantasy. Become the strongest version of you and the girls will foll…

As an adopted kid, I never met my real parents. Not mom. Not dad. It took a long time for me to come to terms with it but it is what it is now. What fucked me up even longer is the man who adopted me, the man I am obligated to give that title to. From ever since I could remember he'd yell at my adopted mom, my sister, and me. Even at age 5 it wasn't a surprise when he left. Cut to two years later and my adopted mom passes. Well, my dad had been remarried by this point to a completely narcissisti…

I've been working like mad on myself lately, and to what end I don't really know. A month ago I was jobless and sitting at home gaming every day while feeliing like shit until I finally put my foot down and went and hunted for jobs. Well, just lastweek it finally paid off and I found decent work. For the first week I've busted my ass and on the fifth day I got a raise. It's funny what time and suffering combined can do to make a person change. Eventually it gets to the point where you put your f…

Indian here as well, except I was raised here in America. In terms of culture I'm the whitest guy I know. At the back of my mind I know it's not because I'm Indian but because I'm not trying. And a culmination of other factors I'm working on. Still, I have my days where I have these thoughts. Are guys like you and I doomed? If the answer is yes (which it's not) well, fuck that. Edit: What part of the country/world do you live in?

I'm from India and I live in a really closed minded bubble town. (Utah, that's all I have to say) I've had feelings like this before where I'd always think, "Oh, my brown skin is probably why I can't get a girl. This isn't the right place. I need to move." Fuck that. Kill those thoughts the second they enter your head. How'd I overcome that? I put myself out there. Like you, I often find myself in groups of people I don't know who kind of don't really give me a second glance. But I assert myself…
