I don't post too much, but I want you to listen, and listen good. You don't have a girlfriend. Let me repeat: She is NOT YOUR GIRLFRIEND. She never was your girlfriend. She's a stranger who you moved 2000 miles to fuck because you don't know any better. You are not "red pill." You are not even a man, yet. You're a kid playing grown up. And that's OK. That's what being a kid is for. Listen, you need to cut this bitch out of your life. This isn't AWALT. This is a dumb, slutty bitch who is manipula…

He sucked 75% of a man’s dick, but he did from an alpha frame, so it’s only 25% beta behavior.

It wasn’t about the suit, you dummy. Next time your woman mentions bras or thongs or lingerie, take it for what it is: foreplay.
/r/askMRP06/02/19 09:51 PM

She didn't want your opinion about buying a swimsuit, she wanted you tell her she was hot and that she would look great and then she wanted you to fuck her. But you went the "I'm insecure" route. Well played.

I think this is more appropriate for a text message.

Lift, but listen to your doctor, not a bunch of internet strangers. They won't be wiping your ass for you when you blow out your L5S1 doing squats or deadlifts. Also, why the fuck are you doing OHP with bells? That's causing compression and torsion on your back. Get with your doctor, a PT and a trainer and get on a program that will help you reach your goals without injury.

The real question is: how the fuck does it cost more than $500 to touch up a few window frames? You can get a couple of rooms painted for that.

Simple: You do you. Or don't.
/r/askMRP08/06/18 04:37 AM

I don't want OP to misunderstand. I am talking about making simple leadership moves, not trying to anticipate her needs. Dinner is a really easy place to start. What you are describing is being the butler. I am not suggesting that. OP, whatever you do, don't be the butler.
/r/askMRP01/06/18 01:32 PM
2

I'm going to give you some actionable advice: Beat her to the punch. Don't give her the opportunity to request dinner. Make it, take her out, or bring it home before she has a chance to ask. Better yet, call her during lunch and TELL HER what you want for dinner. Do this for everything. Have a plan before she does and communicate it to her before she fills the void with her own plans. She'll get on board.

Here's a crazy thought: maybe it isn't about you. Sometimes people, even WOMEN, have shit they are going through or don't feel sexy or horny. Sometimes those things have nothing to do with their partners. Weird, huh?

You could have least bought them ice cream.

Said the guy who just banged 2 post-wall whores (and they were whores, don't kid yourself) because he was butthurt over his wife giving his kids ice cream behind his back.

Boundaries are set in advance and consequences are a result. The problem is that OP never set a boundary, therefore, any consequence is going to come off as butt hurt. Robby is the right track, provided OP actually likes the chair. File this one under "don't sweat the small stuff."

Not about the ice cream, indeed.

Fuck you, man. I am 50 years old. I am still walking with a limp from an injury 2 years ago (which led me to the red pill). While I can't deadlift or squat any more, I get myself to the gym at 4 or 5 times a week and pound out what I can. I can project strength and confidence, even though I know I will never be as fit as I want to be. I'll never run or jump. But I can still be a goddamn oak. My sex life is better than ever. My wife looks at me like she did when we were 20. It's never too late, m…

The way you do that is to calmly say, when you are both cool, "Mrs. Tacos, we are going to treat each other with respect. That means no shouting and no name calling in anger. I will no longer engage in or with this behavior." Then STFU and go about your day.
/r/askMRP18/01/18 02:42 PM
2

You need to make it clear that there will be basic civility in your house, period. If you can't set, hold and follow a boundary as basic as "no name calling" why would you expect her to trust you with your "visionary plan?"
/r/askMRP17/01/18 09:17 PM

You failed to mention where she went when she left for a few days. Why is that?

It's you, not her. Get out of your head. Remember when you used to just seduce your wife and fuck her without asking a bunch of internet strangers? Relax and do that.

You know this isn't about the dishes, right?
/r/askMRP18/11/17 09:29 PM

One caveat to this: initiate and escalate when your desire is GENUINE. Don't initiate just to initiate or because you need validation or because internet strangers tell you to.

This was the right choice. FWIW, when our first was born, we anticipated this and didn't allow any inlaws until after a month or so. That way, we knew what the fuck we were doing. Second and third kids? Bring on the fucking cavalry I wouldn't bring your wife to task for this. You're both totally brain fogged right now. Now is not the time to make a big deal or upset the mother-daughter dynamic. Set your own boundary with the MIL and deal with her appropriately next time. Doing it retroactively w…

There are people here who've come back from much deader bedrooms than that. Improve yourself, maybe she comes around, maybe she doesn't. What do you have to lose?
/r/askMRP15/08/17 08:26 PM
1

This is hard and most of us struggle with it, but the goal isn't more sex. It's to make yourself more attractive, which leads to more sex. This hard for most of us to internalize. If you commit to the program and improve yourself and there was some baseline of attraction, the sex will come back, almost guaranteed. I didn't start from a dead bedroom, so YMMV. What is your frequency now?

Oooh. You got me. Tell me. Why would anyone fuck you? What have you got going for you, other than your glowing personality?

The point is that women in their 30s are at their sexual peak. But go ahead and deflect from the real problem: YOU.
/r/askMRP15/08/17 07:00 PM
3

Women under 40 don't have low libidos, they have low-value husbands.
/r/askMRP15/08/17 06:40 PM
3

No man, you're the only one saying this. Your ego is so fragile, you can't even handle a simple Internet conversation. And you wonder why your wife won't fuck you.
/r/askMRP15/08/17 06:28 PM
3

I've said it before, the correct response is: "You're welcome."
/r/askMRP14/08/17 07:43 PM
5

Dude, what is wrong with you? How about stopping and resting or buying her something to drink? You are in a big, hot scary city and you just failed a really simple comfort test. Not even a test, really. Here's a thought: stop worrying about whether something is red pill or not and instead focus on not being a dick.
/r/askMRP14/08/17 06:58 PM
3

The correct response is: You're welcome.
/r/askMRP13/08/17 03:51 PM
3

There's a reason she is treating you with disrespect and not accepting your leadership, bedroom notwithstanding. She isn't in your frame because she either doesn't believe it to be a true frame, or it's not a fun frame to be in. I would start there. Ask yourself, "What if I am the problem?" Then you do you.
/r/askMRP09/08/17 07:55 PM
2

I think you need to look in the mirror, first and foremost, and ask yourself why you are seeking so much external validation. What is missing in YOU? I think the reason your wife doesn't go for the dominance like your plates do is because she knows that it isn't coming from a place of truth. Go back and read your post. It's "she she she", "plate this plate that" and "please, please don't challenge or insult me." That's your ego talking. Kill that fucker with fire.
/r/askMRP09/08/17 07:17 PM
4

I suspect: Your wife has good reason to be a harpy cunt. Your frame might be solid, but that doesn't mean it's a positive frame. Your ego is more fragile than you let on. TLDR: Sounds like your wife knows you better than you know yourself.
/r/askMRP09/08/17 07:01 PM

If you had a plan, you wouldn't be here posting this tripe. Nice try, though.
/r/askMRP26/07/17 09:30 PM

The point he is trying to make is that you are a validation-seeking windbag who knows way less than he thinks he does. You're welcome.
/r/askMRP26/07/17 09:06 PM
2

Why are you waiting until the last minute to plan this? She's going to see through this lame ass attempt to cover up poor planning in an instant. Don't forget to stop by Walgreen's on the way home from work to pick her up a card and a little teddy bear.
/r/askMRP26/07/17 08:51 PM
2

You need to be very careful at the gym. Do only what your doctor has cleared you to do. Start slow. Your goal should be to avoid injury and start a habit until you can build some strength. Diet you can clean up immediately, I would focus on that while you work on getting back to some basic level of fitness. Don't even worry about your relationship and your wife's behavior. Don't write her. Don't share your feelings. Don't next her. You need to focus on digging yourself out of this hole. The rest…

The problem is you want sympathy. Don't. It's not attractive. Be as strong and awesome as you can be. Be the comeback kid. Be an inspiration. She'll come around or she won't. Either way, the stay plan is the same as the go plan. Now get to work.

I have some experience with this -- I was in your shoes a little more than a year ago after 2 surgeries. My wife of 24 years was ready to walk. You know what she sees right now? She sees her weak husband at his weakest. She sees nothing but a lifetime taking care of your weak, unattractive ass. Don't worry about nexting or any of that at this point. Work on you. Start with whatever exercise or physical therapy you are cleared for. Sidebar. Don't complain to her about the stroke or anything. Be t…

Dude, she obviously wants to fuck that guy. Or, you know, she was telling you about this douche because you guys are together and, you know, sometimes couples talk about things. You did fine.
/r/askMRP07/07/17 02:42 PM

It came back because you never dealt with it. I suspect you buried that demon in pizza and beer. Now you are starting to handle your shit a tiny little bit better and that big old devil of resentment came back. I would embrace it and use it as fuel to change. Stay plan is the same as the go plan.

You fuck the hell out of her, she does everything you want in bed and she has multiple orgasms. Sounds like she is having fun. Doesn't sound starfish. What part is missing? The "spiritual connection"? Screaming? Squirting? Not enthusiastic (yet multiorgasmic). On are you just tired of the same ... or looking for an excuse to get some strange? Be specific.
/r/askMRP04/05/17 09:50 PM
2

Maybe she's a dom or needs to be the dominant one sometimes? Does she respond to other types of sexual dynamics?
/r/askMRP04/05/17 05:23 PM
4

She sounds pretty submissive in her actions. What makes you think she isn't into it? Are you reading her mind? Are you sure you're not projecting some insecurity of your own into the situation?
/r/askMRP04/05/17 04:45 PM
3

You should try the rhythm method. Totally foolproof! Especially if you want more kids. Don't want more kids? Then get a snip. The worst part is the hair growing back on your balls. Of course, you have to have a pair first....
/r/askMRP03/05/17 03:11 PM
2

You are not on the right track. Too micro. Does she have a drinking problem? It doesn't sound like it. Guess what wine is to folks who aren't alcoholics? Groceries. $400 a week for a family of four is quite enough for food and wine. I would stop the gay ass silent treatment as well, you're just coming off as butthurt. This is about you taking the eye off the ball and trying to punish her for your failure to lead, not about her or her behavior.
/r/askMRP01/05/17 05:55 PM
-1

You're no fun, are you?
/r/askMRP26/04/17 09:15 PM
0

It's advice. Process it and apply it to your situation as it makes sense, in the context of your own experience and marriage. You're autistic because you are taking everything as black and white. You can "do you" and still respond to your wife like a normal human being.
/r/askMRP26/04/17 06:52 PM
2

Have you even read your own post? You said you haven't returned any of her texts or spoken to her, other than to apologize. Dread doesn't mean you don't talk to your wife or reply to her texts. You can just reply "We'll talk later" and let her bring it up if she wants. Not that complicated.
/r/askMRP26/04/17 06:42 PM
4

I did and I replied to your previous post. What I am saying is that you need to keep things light and parlay it into something that will get her going. However, you're such an autistic motherfucker, you probably should just reply "OK. We can whiteboard this tonight when I get home."
/r/askMRP26/04/17 06:26 PM
3

Ignoring her texts isn't dread, it's passive-agressive. How about "I have an idea for something that will relieve the tension. See you tonight."
/r/askMRP26/04/17 06:13 PM
3

Worst. Choreplay. Ever. Kidding aside, I don't think this isn't about her. This is about you and your ego. Your need for validation and your need to be right -- to be the "Good guy" in the relationship. To be a martyr. Sidebar.
/r/askMRP25/04/17 06:43 PM
6

You let her fuck other dudes for years, then you didn't, then she "cheated", and now you can't take a joke. She's probably building a box for your balls.
/r/askMRP12/04/17 06:39 PM
5

Right. Certainly wasn't a display of low value to let her have other dicks inside her. Must have been the choreplay that repulsed her. Thanks for clearing that up.
/r/askMRP11/04/17 06:10 PM
5

What made you thing the whole "letting my wife fuck other dudes" thing was going to work out? Seriously, I want to know, because I have never heard of this ever working out.
/r/askMRP11/04/17 05:41 PM
3

So now you that you have validated yourself by cheating, you're passive aggressively punishing your wife for not fucking you with the proper enthusiasm, under the guise of self improvement. Now I understand. It's your dick. Carry on.
/r/askMRP31/03/17 08:14 PM
3

Do you want to back out? What's weaker? Owning the fact that you were being a temporary idiot and then moving on? Or sticking to a covert contract and driving home your idiocy every day for 3 months? HINT: You are the only one who can answer this.
/r/askMRP31/03/17 07:42 PM
5

Here's my take. The sex moratorium is about her, not you. Lots of "she this" and "her that" in your rationale. Here's the one sentence in your reply that isn't a DEER or operating within her frame: "I need to work on the attraction with lifting, frame, and game. I need to work hard on these for my own benefit." Do that.
/r/askMRP31/03/17 06:16 PM
5

NMMNG has some good things to help you find and identify your nice guy issues, but IMHO there is some really dumbass stuff in there as well. What do you expect to gain from this? How will it make you a better man?
/r/askMRP31/03/17 04:08 PM
3

What do you expect to gain from this? How is eliminating intimacy going to build intimacy? This sounds to me more like sour grapes than self improvement. This is more about being in HER FRAME ("a wife who obviously doesn't give a shit about the lost intimacy we used to have") than it is about you. I think you made a dumb choice based on an autistic reading of NMMNG. Maybe you can smack her ass on April 1 and say, "You know all that crazy talk about taking a 3 month break? April Fools! How about …
/r/askMRP31/03/17 03:48 PM
3

I have three. I am not advocating letting them run wild all the time. And certainly, once you put your foot down, you have to take all the way. With that said, sometimes you just have to let them be kids and have fun with it -- don't worry so much if a toddler can't sit still. It's what they do. Kids grow up really fast. They'll be sitting quietly at dinner their whole lives -- they're only little for a short time. You don't have to be a hard ass all the time.
/r/askMRP24/03/17 04:58 PM
3

This is all good advice. Couple other things to ask yourself: Am I sweating the small stuff? Who's really ruining dinner? A 4-year-old acting like a 4-year-old? Or is it Dad going Red Pill Rambo? It's hard with the little ones, been there. But sometimes you need to embrace the chaos and just enjoy them for what they are: little drunk circus monkeys. You're going to miss these days.
/r/askMRP24/03/17 02:54 PM
2

She may be full of shit, but you say: "I often use gmail chat to talk with friends during the day and have said many inappropriate things in my personal chats related to women." In other words, you are using company property, on company time, to say inappropriate (demeaning?) things about women. Sounds to me like you are doing exactly what she accuses you of, even if she's not on the square. Cut that shit out, keep your head down and if you don't get promoted, it's on you, bud.
/r/askMRP24/03/17 02:45 PM
3

Are we talking about his wife or yours?
/r/askMRP23/03/17 06:07 PM
3

It's seems like that because that's what it is. You do you.
/r/askMRP22/03/17 08:30 PM
2

She. She. She. Sounds to me like you are deep in her frame. Work on that.
/r/askMRP22/03/17 08:13 PM
13

I'm with the rest of you. I think OP knew EXACTLY what his wife was asking, but chose to go autistic because "boundaries." At this point, just own your stupidity and ask your wife next time to spell it out to you like you're a 5-year-old.
/r/askMRP22/03/17 05:25 PM
2

I think you are over analyzing this. She was yellow. You passed her initial shit test and escalated, but missed the window by not taking her to pound town immediately. Sometimes people fall asleep after a big meal. Assume positive intentions. Bet she initiates tonight.
/r/askMRP22/03/17 01:37 PM
5

I would only bring it up if the dream was about her and I am using it as an opener for a morning bang, as in, "I've been dreaming about you all night, hop on this dick." Other than that? Nope. Dreams don't equal dread, unless your wife has some seriously low self esteem.
/r/askMRP21/03/17 02:46 PM
1

Pretend your wife doesn't have MS. What would you do then? There's your answer.
/r/askMRP01/03/17 09:02 PM
1

My response would have been, "I don't know about more kids, but I am willing to practice."
/r/askMRP17/02/17 06:31 PM
2

Both.
/r/askMRP13/02/17 03:27 PM

I come here for validation. Works like a charm.
/r/askMRP06/02/17 06:01 PM

I don't want to deer, but y'all are really not following the exchange, probably because I have been posting multiple, threads. The "dear diary" was tongue in cheek response to a previous post, wherein I was called out for updating my health status. For the record: there was no hot nurse. I didn't bring up any hot nurse. I sent a logistical text about the fact that I was finally getting a shower and my wife started asking about the nurses, so I joked around with her. It was not a shit test, I was …
/r/askMRP16/01/17 03:27 PM

I should have provided more context. The shower text was logistical--I didn't have room and hadn't had a shower in days and was happy I was getting one. I never said anyone was giving me a shower, and I had plenty of male nurses, too. W responded with uncharacteristic jealousy, which I found amusing. The version I sent was edited and not verbatim. The "blond with big tits and long legs" is a description of my wife, not the nurse. It was a fun and light conversation. Anyway, I will own that I was…
/r/askMRP15/01/17 07:45 PM
1

Well done! Glad to see you didn't fuck up this time. Keeping it light works.
/r/askMRP15/01/17 07:10 PM

She asked, me in response to a logistical text, it was out of the blue. I had fun with it. Maybe reading comprehension ain't your thing. Witty banter certainly isn't.
/r/askMRP15/01/17 06:39 PM
2

Learning not to shout was tough for me as well. The other guys are right -- shouting is usually from a place of fear, not anger. The last time my wife pissed me off, I STFU for about 20 seconds. Then I calmly explained the way things were and then shut up again. About 5 minutes later, she apologized, agreed and we went on and had a great day. I would own it, apologize for shouting if you think it is warranted and start fresh tomorrow.
/r/askMRP14/01/17 03:59 PM
2

Also be careful not to condescend or get pedantic when having an intellectual debate with your wife. It's a tough balancing act, but nothing will dry that pussy faster than coming off like a know-it-all. Ask me how I know!
/r/askMRP13/01/17 04:40 AM

You should still be having conversations with your wife. It's fine to listen to her vent and to cheer the heroes and boo the villians. Let her have her feels and engage, just don't try to fix the problem or engage rationally when she is looking for you to be the oak. What are you in disagreement about?
/r/askMRP13/01/17 12:56 AM

You might want to read the posting guidelines, sister. You are embarrassing yourself.
/r/askMRP11/01/17 07:52 PM

I am calling you butt hurt, dyslexia- boy. I meant tenet. I am happy to own a typo. I can tell you are young guy who has trouble controlling his emotions. Four months in and your only post is a victim puke. You haven't even hit faggot-level yet, let alone the credibility to call anyone else a faggot. Look in the mirror and you'll have the answer as to why your marriage sucks. You can't even handle an Internet conversation without losing your shit.
/r/askMRP11/01/17 07:33 PM
1

Yeah, I'm the one being butt hurt. Seems to me a tenant here is to show enough respect for yourself and the forum to think through your posts and present yourself in a clear way. The OP is constantly posting major fuck-ups and being called out. I think his disordered approach to posting is reflective of his disordered approach to applying the principles we are learning here. Obviously I hit a nerve with you, maybe you should examine that.
/r/askMRP11/01/17 04:45 PM

Thanks, sugartits. I think maintaining frame and game while in the hospital is red pill and some may be interest, but to each his own.
/r/askMRP11/01/17 03:27 PM

Letting interested parties who advised me on my original post my status, as there was some concern about my illness. What's your point?

Way to hold frame. Might want to have your meds adjusted.
/r/askMRP11/01/17 02:43 PM

How can anyone even follow this illiterate thread? Jesus man, every other word is misspelled. Do you even autocorrect, bro?
/r/askMRP06/01/17 03:54 PM

That's exactly the protocol. Liquid diet for a few days, then move up to soft foods, then a low fiber diet for a couple of weeks, then slowly reintroduce fiber. I am doing a bit better, able to eat some yogurt today. Lost 10 fucking lbs since Sunday. Yikes!

This was a reasonable request. Your boundaries are, frankly, fucking weak and stupid. Your frame is that of a butthurt baby. You need to STFU and work on not being an asshole. You aren't ready to be alpha yet.
/r/askMRP05/01/17 04:14 PM

i don't know how I got this condition. Never had constipation or had to strain. No fiber sounds like a bad idea, but too much doesn't sound great either. I just want to get past this episode, which is getting worse, actually.
/r/askMRP05/01/17 03:48 PM

That sucks. How many episodes before surgery? This is my third in less than a year, albeit this is the mildest. Just waiting on doc right now, holidays aren't helping.

Thanks. To be fair, we didn't know what was wrong with me at that point and I did smell pretty bad. Not something you leave your wife and kids over, I don't think. We have been married for 24 years, that is by no means the low point. Actually, our marriage was pretty solid back then.

What was the point of the other 2 guys? Clearly she can spread her legs on her own.
/r/askMRP02/01/17 09:54 PM

Trust me, I know. Recovering from 2 surgeries this year taught me that. Several years ago I got a parasite called cryptosporidium. It took me the fuck out for like 2 weeks. At one point, I was in bed, fever, vomiting and shitting the works. I come out of my delirium and see her spraying Lsyol on me. LYSOL! So I got my ass out of bed and drove to the hospital, where they hooked me up to IV for dehydration. She did feel a little bad about that and it is a recurring joke.

This is pretty easy. Going to strip clubs and hiding it from your wife? Weak as shit. Going to strip clubs and owning it? Lame, but at least you aren't a lying pussy. Going to strip clubs with your wife? Awesome.

Thank you! I am going to change the order and see what happens. I am also going to see if I can get just one hour of a trainer's time. I can't afford to pay for PT 2X a week and a personal trainer, but certainly I can afford an hour. Probably will continue doing curls, as there isn't much else I can do on the machine that I am not already doing. That and the wife is noticing, so, yeah...curls for the girls.

Yep. I am just not into overeating anymore. Last time I did it I felt like crap for 2 days. Ahh...food hangovers. Ain't getting old grand?

More of a bourbon and wine guy nowadays. Like beer, but damn I have to drink a lot of it to get a buzz.

Yep. My strategy on thanksgiving was to have just a tiny bit of each side, like a tablespoon, and regular portion of turkey. Xmas parties? Little baby portions and stay the fuck away from the snack table. With that said, I think drinking will be the tougher habit to moderate. I am just going to keep an eye on the scale and try to find a good balance over the holidays.

Just weighed in, down a pound. Not really expecting to lose too much over the next few weeks -- if I can maintain or just lose a pound or 2 I will be ecstatic.

Yes, I know there are some abs under there somewhere!

Are you saying I should do biceps at different point in my workout? I only do them first so I don't get tired and can lift a heavier weight because... shit...because vanity. I was doing tricep press, but switched to the seated dip because that got both the triceps as well as back/shoulder.

Thank you. Honestly, I am doing because I fucking have to. I refuse to be handicapped because of laziness. I think back on the wasted years and lame shit, like "I hate running." What I would give to be able to run or even walk fast. Thank God I can still take the wife to pound town - just have to watch the core and stretch/ice after.

Emojis work well for me. Then I can be responsive and acknowledge without being too mushy or having to use words. Next time she texts "I love you" respond with a thumbs up emoji. That will get her thinking.

So, the 50 lbs was since this time last year. Lost the first 15 while laid up - I also got diverticulitis after surgeries (twice). This illness requires a week of liquids and 10 days no drinking. That kick started it and has made me a bit scared of overeating. I have lost the other 30-35 since August by using portion control, limiting my drinking to weekends only and I only eat between 11 and 7 - intermittent fasting. I have tried keto, but it really didn't agree with me. I am just eating a well…

This is an easy one. Are you pitting you child against his mother? If "yes", you have fucked up. Own that shit and never put your kid in that position again.

I forgot to mention my right calf is weak, hence the fuck ton of calf raises. My calves are pretty well developed and look the same size, but the nerve on the right just doesn't fire properly (yet).

I am doing probably 1.5 hrs a day, on average. I do the high rep exercises with no rest so I can get some cardio benefit, as 30 min is my max without butt pain. I do row twice a week. You are right on core -- I do isometrics right now to minimize risk and focus on tight core while lifting. I am worried about fuckarounditis ... but I guess I am doing OK.

Diet is going well, down 50, would like to drop another 20 or so. So, you may refer to me as "less fat fuck." My current workout is approved by physical therapist. I guess I just have to be patient and lift light. I'll get there.

My wife has done well on low carb diets, but eventually cracks and eats a bag of Cheetos. I don't do well on keto - I feel sick and low energy. Intermittent fasting and portion control are working for me. Down 50 lbs. since last December. Still a fat fuck, but at 49, I am looking at a sustainable lifestyle change, not a quick cut. Bottom line is that different approaches work for different people. Maybe keto isn't the diet for the Mrs?
