There was a guy at my old college gym, who was 5'4" and the scariest guy I've ever seen in my life. He had biceps the size of a human head with 1/3" inch veins running through them. I'm also 5'9. Although generally women find taller men more attractive, I see the older men (40+) in my gym who are short married to attractive 30 something wives who are taller than them. This is because they have a bodybuilder physique, tan, tattooed, and in general take care of their appearance. Women like the biological security a strong dominant man provides, and if you aren't tall being muscular can provide a similar effect.
