If you're touching and flirting a lot the next move would be to ask her out.

The only way you find out is making a move. If she's into it she'll flirt back, if she's not she'll make it clear and you can stop thinking about it and file her in the friend folder. Either way you win because you don't have to think and obsess about the interaction anymore.

She's testing you for sure, but that doesn't mean you should nuke the date if she doesn't want to go there. Lots of people on here take shit tests way to seriously. My response would be something like, " Ha I like that place, but it's not for everybody. Do you have another place in mind?" If she does, then just go there. And talk about the shit you've seen at the other bar. If she doesn't, then suggest a second spot and see what she says. If she's still hesitant, she's not into you. Drop her and…

I feel like you got some good answers here. I just want to add that you should and can do this all the time. Say hi to everybody, everywhere. Especially if you find them attractive. It gets you used to talking to strangers and it's not a weird thing to do. If you're trying to be a more social and attractive person it's a must have habit to get into.

Do you live near a park or a coffee shop? Or a coffee shop near a park? In high school that's your bread and butter.

Stop worrying about texting if she's flirting with when you see each other. Flirt back in real life and then start thinking about your text game.

Try them all out. Not on the same night necessarily, but over the course of the next couple weeks. Feel them out and figure out which one fits you. Ideally, that would be the one in which you feel most comfortable, that has a friendly laid back crowd, and decent traffic flow. One of the first things I do when I move to a new neighborhood is check out the local night spots. I usually prefer smokey dives full of punks and hipsters, but it doesn't hurt to check out a place you might not think you'd…

I wish I was 5'9". I'm 5'6" when I lie on my doctors forms and still get plenty of girls. You never get girls because you never approach. Girls don't just throw themselves at you for being mediocre. Figure out what you can change to do better and then do it.

If you haven't been texting a lot your texts should be about setting up future dates. "Hey, what are you up to tonight?" "Doing anything exciting later? I'm doing blah blah blah." "What's your schedule like this week?" Once you've get a rapport going you can start to send more catching up texts. "Hey! How's your day going?" "What are you up to?" "-some call back to something you were talking about-" "-some link to something she stated interest in-" Also, just text whatever you want. Stop focusin…

Alright, I get what you're saying. Good eye contact is escalation. Engaging in conversation is escalation. Smiling at girls is escalation. A lot of guys that are just starting out, the guys you're talking about, should be working on escalating in those ways. Standing closer, maintaining eye contact, speaking up. This is an example of "a little bit of knowledge can be a bad thing". A lot of newbies assume any escalation equals good escalation. And they don't have the calibration to know when to g…

That's why experience is also important. Yes, when you're first starting out it's difficult. But over time, if you consistently exercise those good habits, it becomes easier and easier. Eventually it becomes second nature and you don't have to focus on it at all because it's just what you do automatically now. If you don't have a lot of experience, you're going to mess up a lot. But as long as you understand the mindset that you're striving for, then every one of those failures gets you one step…

Sounds like you need to diversify your interests. Learn to appreciate modern music (that's a pretty broad term), or go places that play something different. Learn to dance, or go to pubs or dive bars where people aren't really dancing. Go out to try new beers or cocktails or whisky. Go out to play pool or darts. Go out to watch sports. Hell, I go to the dive across from my apartment to read because I like the background noise. There's no short cut. You're not going to step out of your door and g…

Maybe? I've just never known that to be the case. I've never once seen or had that play out in a positive way. It could be that I'm just not picturing the same kind of scenario that you are. I'm just not a fan of escalating on neutral girls. In my experience, it's an uphill battle the whole way, you risk a major blowout if you're mistaken, and in the end, even if you get with her, it's completely not worth it. I'd just as soon next her, and wait for someone who is more enthusiastic from the get …

Escalation does nothing if the girl isn't already attracted. Escalation can increase attraction that is already there, but it doesn't create it out of thin air. Thinking that it does is what causes a lot of inexperienced men to act like total creeps. "She's not looking too interested right now, but if I keep touching her and run through this 'kino ladder' she'll suddenly be all about it." Sorry, doesn't work, and it makes you seem thirsty, aggressive, and uncalibrated. Wait for her to give you a…

Concise and a great point. Nailed it.

The point is to remove the idea of "trying" to do anything. You need to look at any interaction as an experience in and of itself, rather than just a means to end, rather than just a stepping stone on your way to sex or a number or whatever. Just enjoy the interaction and when/if the opportunity arises to take action, don't hesitate just do what comes naturally. /u/thespiritofantigone gets it. A big part of it is outcome independence. About not caring too much how things are going to turn out, w…

You haven't discovered a problem, you've discovered the answer. Don't try to make something happen, don't focus on a particular outcome with a girl, don't try to force a number or kino or a kiss. Just sit back and have fun and be attractive. Roll with what's happening. When you come at an interaction with an end goal in mind it is very obvious. Sometimes that's good if you and the girl are already clicking (like being sexually direct when you already know the girl is very interested), but usuall…

Ok well both of those dates suck as first dates. You want to be able to talk to each other and touch each other and get more comfortable with each other. The only first date I do is drinks at a bar. It's simple, the social lubricant helps smooth things over, and everything almost always ends up going according to plan. As far as venues, just meet girls anywhere, man. Yes, you should go to bars, but also start talking to the girls you come across during the course of your every day.

I don't understand what you mean. Spending time with a woman in your area is the definition of a "date". Could you be a little more clear?

Haha I literally used your exact script and it worked the very first time. Got a number and a date set up for Friday night.

Why do you feel you need a coach. I'm not asking dickishly, I'm genuinely curious.

I go out alone all the time. If I'm going out specifically to meet new people I prefer going alone. Find a few places you like and start going regularly. You'll get more and more comfortable with it and soon it won't even be a thing. Don't drink too much and talk to all sorts of people, not just girls you're trying to game. Even if it's uncomfortable at first, you'll start to have fun. I promise.

As far as the first things you mentioned, those will never stop being honed. It's counter-intuitive, but it's amazing how much more free time you have when you have a girlfriend. It helps that she has similar hobbies and interests. I'm looking for subtle ways I can still work on my game. Since she's around a lot, and I like her and don't want her to be upset, I'm looking for things I can improve on specifically that are fairly innocent. I don't want to end the relationship, I want to improve dur…

This isn't a challenge, it's a rainy afternoon. All the books in the world aren't going to help you if you don't get out of the house and approach people. I know from experience that studying pick up can quickly become the worst form of procrastinating actually practicing pick up. It feels like you're getting shit done, but really it's not helping all that much at all.
