I can't guide you but I can give my own experience as a late starter. I just joined the subreddit. 36, also not a virgin due a one time thing, ypeople have given me chances or asked me out but I've been extremely avoidant due to some childhood stuff and would have panic attacks on dates. I was also in a cultish group and left at 30ish (first part-way left, then fully and had to start a completely new life.) The group was not celibate or sexually controlling at all, so I started dating within it a…

I've generally found that it's that I identify "being myself" as someone that wouldn't talk to anyone or only talks to people when I have something to say, so when I find someone attractive, but don't have anything to say to them, that's difficult. I suppose that it's more that I'm trying to say something *not-needless*, rather than to say something impressive.

It seems like a lot of the girls you would be interested in are probably in grad school or in related scenes. Where do you live? Maybe you should try San Francisco or New York. Plenty of ambitious women there.

Sometimes men sleep with a woman and then they feel much more emotionally safe to talk about their emotions and things, where before they didn't. So sex might change their mind.

To me confidence isn't anything but appropriately calibrated expectations. Such that you know which things to avoid, and what type of failures can be recovered from, such that you aren't worried about the failures so much. It's a task or domain specific thing, like a 9 year old who has been riding a bike a few years is probably confident going around the neighborhood, they've fallen, they've gone fast, maybe gone off some small jumps. Social confidence is more general, though still often context…

Hi there, I'm a programmer in San Francisco looking for a local seduction community, generally down to meet people.

What do you think caused the random group of girls to spark up a conversation with you?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
