These are all reasonable points but in the world of today you just can't make those type of gendered assumptions anymore; women can dislike feminism, dislike women-empowerment slogans, like men's rights, like guns, and dislike male genocide just as much as men can take the opposite positions. Well changing the way politics are discussed and presented as opposed to slogans is kind of a separate issue than the slogan itself being divisive It's not an either/or matter, but rather a sliding scale of quality. Empty slogans that are also non-inclusive/divisive/prejudiced are bad; empty slogans that avoid the additional negative elements are slightly better; and deep nuanced discourse is far and away better than lower-quality empty slogans of any type.

If you support inclusivity then I would expect you to oppose non-inclusive slogans. Especially in the political realm, given the influence that world has over everyone. I think it's a fairer equivalence then the child/adult example, but let's say you're entirely correct and the other user should have stuck with a more direct equivalence such as "the future is male".
