From my experience, women decide whether to sleep with you or not, the moment they meet you... So if they choose not to, they were never going to. My usual response is quite honest: "That's cool, we don't have to get physical at all.. but until we do, we're just platonic friends.. I am not exclusive with platonic friends as I have many... " That usually gives them a strong hint.

I don't agree, I think the onus being on the man to take initiative puts us in a compromising situation. Guys are doing sexually suggestive things, especially on the dance floor. I just asked, wanted to be sure. If you're female then your point would have held zero weight, since this is a discussion about how men feel. I think you need to ask yourself if "Most men" would have a problem with no sex in their relationships. If the answer is yes, then the OP's point is valid. Just because you feel one way, differently from most men, doesn't mean that you're right. It makes you the exception or the outlier. The OP never said "all men".

No, you misunderstood the article, the OP never stated that about sex at all. He said it is a base, or a foundation. Meaning.. guys still want all the other things, but if the sex isn't there, the relationship is not going to work. Where did he say "all men"?...
