As a single guy in his 40's, I noticed this in my own life in the 30s. Most of my guy friends are married off, and naturally the wife isolates her husband from his single friends. I use my slow cooker 3 times a week. Beans, chili, soups, carnitas..... I eat better than restaurant quality all the time cooking for myself. Now if I order out, its for a specific ethnic dish I dont do. COVID fucked up the vibe eating out anyway. Not that I'm bitching much cause I'm saving money.
