Statutory rape is not statutory rape. Doesn't exist in Sweden. They do have another crime though, sex with a minor, but it requires intent. I dislike feminism because it rests on an analysis of society that is fundamentally wrong. Sometimes it correctly idenfities problems, but never the roots of those problems. Feminism is medicine for a disease that society does not have (and never had in the past), but which shares some symptoms of the disease society does have.

It's important to separate the concepts of "pay gap" and "pay discrimination". There is a gender pay gap, just like there is a pay gap between factory floor workers and CEOs. But the factory floor worker typically earns less because he has a different job than the CEO, not because he is discriminated (although people with communist leanings would disagree with that). The same goes for men vs women.

My post was messed up because of an extra "not", fixed now. To reiterate: It's legal to have sex with someone who is 15 or older. It may be legal to have sex with someone who is under 15 - that depends on your own age.

Haha, on the topic of pointers being too phallic, there is a programming language called INTERCAL which has replaced GOTO with COMEFROM. That should be sufficiently nonphallic. You also need to be "polite" when programming it, using phrases like please when trying to perform a command. It's Turing complete, too. I'm sure Ms Schlesinger would feel right at home using that language.

Laws like that exist in some places, but not in Sweden. We do however have other funny laws: you can consent to sex at 15, but you cannot consent to being photographed in a sexually suggestive way before you are 18. Fuck a 15 year old = ok, take topless pics of a 17 year old = child porn.

Absolutely. It plays on the stereotype that men only want sex, but as I said I don't see anything wrong with making jokes about stereotypes. Some of the best jokes I know rely on stereotypes. And frankly, "are you 18" is something that many men have to ask, because of the legal age of consent that is out of sync with the average age of sexual maturity.

I imagine that "bend over" is pretty commonly said during sex by men who enjoy standing doggy style (or whatever the position might be called, I don't keep track). It has nothing to do with abuse or oppression. A phrase associated with abuse or oppression could be something like "I told you to have dinner ready when I get home, you fucking cunt".
