In my old job used to work alot with police , this was right after the whole drink spiking hysteria , the estimates at the time were 90% of drink spiking claims where bupkiss , an easy out for someone who went out , had to much to drink and cheater on their partner , The false claim stats were unbelievable and not widely publicised as to not discourage actual victims , but once the ' drink apiking srories faded from tv and magazine stories , new claims dropped as well ( by about 90%)
