Do you keep track of the number of friends you have beers with?

Dude, he illustrates an example of it in action: http://therawness.com/my-european-trip-part-9-a-conversation/ It was on the next page....

That's all natural and fine, it's a part of life, though it sounds like you're not fully ready for a full-on-direct-confrontation yet. Take care of your inner game first--when you're actually ready you'll know it, and you won't have to ask seddit if you're ready or not.

Spot-on. That's a great mentality to be in, thanks for the heads-up.

Ask open-ended questions to the group, so that their focus is on you as the conversation-starter.

That's sick. Easy kino, memorable, active, I can see it happening already. I'll add it to the body of the post

I disagree. I'm objectively average in terms of looks but I've had girls drop their panties when I start promulgating a grandiose vocabulary. YMMV

What the hell kind of spelling is this?

Thanks for the FR, an aversion to making-out in public has been one of my limiting beliefs; this pretty much shows me that it isn't such a big deal.

For some reason the title of this post makes me think it's an article from The Onion.

I'll have to concur with you if we were to dive into semantics like that, but the basic truth was what I was trying to convey, and what you mentioned: Be upfront with intentions without being manipulative, and always leave others better than how you found them. Translated: "There is nothing to be ashamed of by being good with women".

Are you still his flatmate? Because if you are, you shouldn't be messing around.

Everything in moderation. Great tool to use when you know when to use it, but obviously don't rely on it as the central crutch to all your humour.

Stick around for longer when you have no real reason for it and people don't mind. This can be really strong for taking a friendship further. This is an eye-opener for me, thank you.

This is cliché, but it worked for me and it will work for you: Delete from Facebook (i.e., cut off all contact, block everything, delete phone number, etc.) Hit the gym. Ask yourself "what was the number one quality I liked about my ex?" Now look at the current pool of girls you have and find one with that same quality. All of a sudden she won't seem so special anymore.

Agreed. When I was in OP's position I made the mistake of thinking "I'll wait until I actually get in school first before trying some of this stuff out in-field". Get out there and DO STUFF.

I always say to the waitress/waiter "We'll have separate bills" right after ordering (usually as I'm handing back the menu). Seamless, easy, gets the point across, and everyone understands what you mean without it being awkward.

Most important thing I learned in the past 3 months, even though it doesn't seem profound at first.
