Precisely this. Thanks for clarifying. He writes the story with clear hyperbole then in this comment tones it down to make it sound like a regular old party lol

I think the underlying message of the sub can be useful but yeah, most of the posts - especially FRs - end up being dick measuring contests which are just exaggerated or simply fabricated stories.

I adore beautiful girls. I like their feminine energy, their naivety, their carelessness. I'm not looking to discuss Quantum Mechanics or the Jungian interpretation of religion with girls. Hell, if a girl could intellectually challenge me I'm pretty sure there would be close to no attraction from my side. Man you're missing out on a lot
/r/TheRedPill05/02/18 07:57 AM

Absolutely. Unfortunately she'll find another guy (or two) at the drop of a hat and repeat the process.
/r/TheRedPill04/02/18 04:09 AM

I wouldn't call it a boss move solely because the girl probably didn't give a fuck and he still got played. But yeah that's probably his best option.

You can't build significant muscle playing a sport
/r/TheRedPill21/09/17 04:24 PM

Lifting and playing sports are completely different activities that accomplish different things, and in fact they complement each other. If you do one without the other you're missing out.

At some point a girl of my group of friend came to talk to me (Hb 9). She was very tactile and escalated with me (this happends very few time in my life. I’m 28). Her boyfriend, sadly a total beta was 2 metters away. She did’nt hide her interest toward me. She gave me her number in front of her boyfriend and told to me I could have any girl I wanted that night It was believable until that point. Unless your definition of a 9 is really a 6, which is more likely.

He was also on roids. As a natural you can ignore anything someone on roids says about lifting/gaining muscle. They play by a different set of rules.

Or maybe porn/masturbation just doesn't have the same effect on everyone. I imagine it's more noticeable for those who are addicted. I did learn something from abstaining for a month though, which is that you don't have to masturbate just because it's part of your everyday routine. I foresee myself doing it far less often from now on
/r/TheRedPill06/08/16 12:06 AM

Personally just tried NoFap for about a month and felt zero changes. I actually felt more euphoric after lifting today than I have in a month, and I fapped yesterday. Interpret that as you wish.

Top 3 ab exercises in your opinion?

Lean = 15% or less Shredded = 8% or less Needless to say it's a lot more feasible to stay lean (10-15%) which will allow you to look good while still enjoying yourself. To get shredded (for most people) takes ridiculous dedication which may even take away from one's social life
/r/TheRedPill23/07/16 11:38 PM

Let's be real: 6 months in the gym won't do much for a physique. Sure, you can lose weight but you won't stand out. I've been lifting for almost 4 years now and I'm just starting to reap the social rewards of having a good physique (ie. people stare when I wear tanks, frequent compliments, girls are always touching my arms). Then again BBC genetics are a real thing so maybe you're already jacked lol

Here's one problem with this post, and many of the posts on Red Pill in my opinion: you are adapting your behaviour to please women. You are advising men to act calm and stoic because that is what you think women want. Fuck that. A real man acts how he wants, owns it, and that is what attracts people.

Trudeau is a smart, conniving guy (as most politicians are). I don't necessary buy that he truly supports feminism and means what he is saying here, because there's a good chance he's doing it just to gain support. This stunt pretty much guarantees him support from 50% of the population. The fact that he appointed a half female cabinet is worrisome to me, but otherwise I'm not too bothered. We'll see how the next few years play out though.

It's really not complicated. Lift consistently, focus on gaining strength on compound movements (preferably the big 3), and keep your diet in check. Strength and muscle gains take time; don't expect to get big in a few months or even a few years.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/16 01:49 AM
4

Does it even matter? (Hint: no). By the time Buckets actually deadlifts 400, it won't be a big deal to him anymore. Assuming he is lifting properly, by the time he pulls 400 it is no longer seen as a huge milestone, but merely another stepping stone on his journey. It's nice to have "goals" in mind, but when you achieve those goals you quickly realize that the arbitrary feat you set out to accomplish is nothing in comparison to the overall journey of self-improvement.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/16 01:47 AM

Yup. We (males) ultimately did this to ourselves. We failed the ultimate shit-test (feminism, women's rights movements, etc.), and now we're stuck with this hyper-feminized world that seems to be controlled more by women than men.

You're on TRP and you're still engaged, and to this woman? Some people are literally helpless. EDIT: Reading more into this, OP is clearly fucked up. So BP it's sickening.

This is a beautiful explanation of leadership, and illustrates why women in general are not fit to have the same rights/responsibilities that men do. Although it seems that most men also dodge blame as well.

This. He's essentially promoting a "dreamer bulk" which is probably the worst thing a beginner can do. I did it and it led to me absolutely wasting the first year of my lifting career (coupled with the fact that I didn't know the importance of compound lifts)

Good post but one point I'd like to nitpick: the article about the ideal man's body as voted on by women is incredibly stupid and meaningless. I'm not sure if it was discussed here or on another forum, but I recall that it was torn to shreds for various reasons. One big reason off the top of my head: most women have bad bodies and they rationalize what kind of male body they would like based on what they think they could get (in other words, a fat chick won't admit that she likes the bodybuilder…

For a 4 day split of ABAB you can schedule it however you like. I personally use a split exactly like that (A = chest/back, B = legs/shoulders) and I simply do the workouts whenever I can fit them in that particular week. So one week I might go to the gym on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, but the next week I might go on totally different days. Basically what I'm saying is that there is no set schedule that you have to follow when you're on a 4 day split, other than to make sure you get…

3 day would be very hard, but 4 day is easily possible if you just rotate 2 workouts (ie. ABAB). If you can really only make it to the gym 3 days a week, you would probably be best off doing full body workouts as another fellow mentioned. A less optimal option would be having a 2 day split and rotating it like so: ABA / BAB - but this would only allow you to work each muscle 3 times in 2 weeks, rather than 4 times, which might actually be optimal for some people who require a little longer recov…

This. I know I had it as a kid but lost it to an extent throughout my adolescence. I was always bigger, stronger, and more assertive than other kids but I was taught/taught myself to hold back. Reflecting on it now, I think the cause of this was being brought up with a Christian background, where emphasis is placed on putting others before yourself and not being aggressive. Still working on gaining back that aggression and assertiveness.

The main thing I took away from this post is that it's important to have mentors. You obviously have a football coach that you keep in touch with and I think that's amazing. I gotta get me some mentors.

I'm not sure I follow, or agree. One of the main tenets of the Red Pill is to remain stoic in the face of danger (ie. a woman trying to start an argument just for the sake of it). By giving in and becoming passionate (emotional) you are actually entering her frame. Why do you think she's celebrating with her friends? She was able to break down her boyfriend's frame and engage him in a fight on her terms. As far as I'm concerned, the young man in question here actually lost in this situation. The…

Why is this upvoted? This is just pathetic. This is not RP. You talk about motivation as if it's the key to everything. Motivation ain't SHIT. Discipline is everything. You FORCE yourself to go to the gym, get a job, get shit done whether you want to or not because that's what a fucking man does. If that doesn't "motivate" you, you're a BP bitch in my book.

Yup, OP is putting the cart before the horse. His perceived SMV is apparently more valuable than getting some pussy. IMO, that's a lack of abundance mentality: he's actually scared of lowering his SMV in the eyes of the girl because he wants to maintain the relationship, possibly because he lacks other prospects. He's actually screwing himself here.
/r/TheRedPill14/11/15 10:10 PM

Like others said, you definitely overanalyzed this situation. In some ways you were right; you should not be overly ecstatic when a girl puts forth an offer like that because it reeks of desperation. However, a simple "we'll see" or something cocky/playful would have sufficed.

Last week I lifted on ~4 hours of sleep and still hit some PRs. Mind you I did have a coffee during my workout to fire me up a little bit lol. Being tired is no excuse IMO, and forcing yourself to go when you don't feel up to it is a great exercise of discipline.

Lack of sleep is a whole different story than lack of motivation. You need sleep to have a very good workout. That being said, you can still force your ass into the gym and put in as much work as you can in a depleted state, but it's obviously not ideal.

I would disagree. A true Alpha doesn't want or need to be loved. A true Alpha just "is." He does what he wants because he wants to, without any ulterior motives (ie. because he wants to be loved). Elliott Hulse has a good video on this, and in it he says something like "The bird's gonna keep singing regardless of what you think about it." Whether you curse the bird or praise the bird, he's gonna keep singing. Bird's gonna sing; Alpha's gonna Alpha. Found the video actually. He's probably more ar…

What male privilege really exists anymore? Women are treated better in pretty much every social setting. The 77 cent myth has been debunked many times. I don't see any privileges (that come without burden/responsibility) that society bestows solely upon men.

What do you mean by swoleshaming? If anything, I've only seen this on tumblr lol. IRL everyone respects and looks up to muscular dudes.

IMO these changes were more in your mind than in reality, simply because you are not going to make significant muscular gains in your first month of lifting. Yeah, I think you're right. Most people on here associate humanities with females, and because they resent females, they resent humanities. IMO it's a very feminine way to argue (feels over logic), but some people are still stuck in that anger phase.

Sociology, psychology, law, art, music, history, etc. are of no value? TRP is pretty much a combination of sociology, psychology, and history. Heck, there's even some law. Take a step back and think about what you're saying.

What's with the STEM superiority complex on this sub-reddit? It's really uncalled for.
/r/TheRedPill06/05/15 05:45 AM

Brilliant thread and question. I have pondered this myself before. What is a man to do when he is nearing retirement and without a family? Regardless of what TRP has taught me, I still believe that starting a family and raising children is one of the most fulfilling things a human being can do. I don't really want to get married, but I do want at least one child. It's a pretty problematic situation.

I think his point/argument is that if you treated all girls the way you treat ugly girls, they would actually like you more.

Honestly, he didn't do THAT poorly. Yes, he avoided eye contact, didn't speak confidently at times, etc. but anyone less than a purebred Alpha male would struggle in that scenario. This was also a good reminder as to why men don't watch daytime talk shows lol

That's a terrible reason to discredit a lift. "I hurt myself doing squats, so they must be bad!" I hurt myself doing squats and deadlifts too, and I still can't deadlift due to the injury, but guess what? I'm back to squatting and hitting huge PRs. Anyways, just because you hurt yourself doing a lift doesn't mean the lift is bad; you're essentially blaming the lift for your own mistakes. That's some BP logic.

Don't forget to squat (and deadlift)

I don't think you have to necessarily know what you're doing. Fake it til you make it applies here. As long as you lead with an air of confidence, girls will follow.

Wait, is this real? Did this really happen, on planet Earth? I hope this is a made up story. I don't see a link. I'll assume it's fake so I can sleep in peace tonight.

There was this hot chick in one of my classes this year who had a tattoo of a fish on a bike - an obvious reference to the feminist slogan "a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle." I'll probably never forget that girl, her tattoo, and how foolish she is.

Tbh I'm tempted to take a women's studies class just to see if it's as brutal as people claim.
/r/TheRedPill28/04/15 06:11 AM

That's probably the worst thing I've ever heard a woman say, especially considering that it's a wife speaking directly to (and about) her husband. Utterly shocking and disgusting. That's gonna be one ugly marriage/cuck/divorce.
/r/TheRedPill28/04/15 06:09 AM

I think "criticize" is the wrong word, which is why people are downvoting. The message/idea is right, which is essentially teasing them in a playful way. Girls love that shit.

Jesus Christ, these "women" on Twitter are like wild hyenas. WTF is wrong with people.

I lift partially because I actually enjoy it. I think most "gym rats" enjoy lifting in itself. So no, you're not alone in your sentiments.
/r/TheRedPill25/04/15 10:06 PM
1

I don't have a "moral high ground" lol. Using Adderall to make up for personal shortcomings is weak; I know it, you know it, everyone knows it. You're nitpicking and disagreeing simply for the sake of disagreeing at this point. I'm starting to think you're taking this personally because you're that guy who can't do homework without Adderall.
/r/TheRedPill25/04/15 12:09 AM
1

Adderall creates a false mental state, and therefore induces results that are not real. If you can't do your homework sober and rely on Adderall, that is not progress. If you can't do something without Adderall, you are not really doing it. I mean, yeah, technically you are physically doing it, but the act is tainted and you will not grow by using a drug as a crutch.

100% agree with everything you said. I almost hope we have some sort of devastating collapse that forces humanity to return to its natural order.

He offers amazing Alpha insights, but most people aren't patient enough to absorb what he has to say for 10-20 minutes.
/r/TheRedPill23/04/15 11:26 PM

This was my initial response. And tbh I was expecting this thread to say that taking Adderall is not Redpill because it isn't real. Relying on a drug to make yourself better is not real progress, and therefore is not RP.
/r/TheRedPill23/04/15 11:17 PM

This. Betas will try to tear other men down through speech, similar to how women gossip. Alphas would never do this; they have no need to.

Reminds me of something that happened to me last week. I accidentally went down the wrong escalator, so thinking that it must've looked pretty silly, I smiled at the woman beside me when I turned around. I'm not sure if she actually saw what happened because she was on the phone, but she gave me one of the fakest/nastiest looking smirks I've ever seen; she almost seemed disgusted by me. BTW I'm white and she was black, not sure if that has any significance.

Although he seems a little unstable, your father sounds like a very good, loving man. I really find it unsettling that you claim to be essentially disowning your father in favour of an online forum because his love for you makes you feel ill. IMO, the problem is your perception of him; not everyone is Alpha, but he is your father, so love and accept him for who he is because he clearly cares about you.

It's so funny how people will be open to RP concepts as long as you don't use specific RP terms. I showed my friend TRP threads often when I first discovered this sub-reddit and he was pretty disgusted by what he read, claiming that it was just misogynistic, hateful overgeneralizations. Since then I've stopped bringing up TRP at all, but when we talk about girls/relationships I refer to RP concepts and he fully agrees with them.
/r/TheRedPill19/04/15 08:18 AM

You're right, OP failed the first test in a sense by not taking her home the first night. From that point she already began hamstering about why he wasn't Alpha enough anyways and she got over him.
/r/TheRedPill17/04/15 05:49 PM
7

This. Gave up too quick, didn't even fight back. I guarantee if OP showed the same qualities that he demonstrated that night, she would've been into him again.
/r/TheRedPill17/04/15 05:45 PM
7

Congrats, she probably thinks you're socially unaware/autistic. TRP isn't something to be spouted freely in everyday conversation, especially not to girls. Furthermore, if you were truly Alpha you wouldn't need to proclaim yourself as such - your actions would speak for themselves.

Great post. Great response to the shit test from your dumb ass colleague. The lengths that Betas will go to tear other men down always astounds me.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/15 06:54 PM

I was about to ask about this point. I think your analysis is correct. However, you have to make sure not to offer too much help or help the same person too often without reciprocation, or else you will look like a Beta who is eager to please. I think the general rule should be not to help, unless you know that you will get something out of it.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/15 06:32 PM

Am I reading a forum post or a text book? I feel like I should be taking notes of the bolded terms and studying them lmao
/r/TheRedPill16/04/15 06:26 PM

They hate TRP because of the terms we use, and because we aren't politically correct. Also because feminism has taught women that they should be "strong and independent," so when this idea is challenged, they enter defensive mode. Of course we know that in reality, women don't want to be strong and independent, which is why they love RP men in practice. The bottom line is that women, in general, do not practice what they preach, and we see this in many facets of their lives (ie. they say they li…

Lol exactly, it's like it's a computer talking. He doesn't reply directly to the question at hand; rather, he starts listing a bunch of semi-relevant terms like "Charm" (don't forget the random capitalization!) and goes off on weird tangents. It reminds me of one of those bots you see on Tinder or Kik who can hold a conversation but doesn't actually respond to you directly.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/15 05:17 PM

Those are called shit tests, designed to test the man's strength. If Kip Moore succumbs to those tests, he isn't really the "Kip Moore" she thought he was, is he? He's really more like Kip Moore -1 or -2, and she has a good reason to look elsewhere for the Alpha cock.

I'm at the point where I have all the basics down: I lift, I read RTP daily, I have hobbies, I'm relatively interesting/fun, and I know what I need to do next. I have to go out there, make like-minded friends, approach girls, and experience the world. The hardest part is actually doing it. I know what has to be done, but it's scary.
/r/TheRedPill14/04/15 06:21 PM

Lmfao right? Reads like a movie script. No one talks like this in real life. I'm willing to bet that these were OP's thoughts, rather than what he actually said aloud.
/r/TheRedPill11/04/15 05:33 PM

More likely that he's overestimating his gains, as most beginners do. He probably has a six-pack now (he was previously skinny so this isn't that hard to achieve) and that makes him "ripped"

Too far imo. You're saying that, simply because there are always richer, better looking, more Alpha guys out there, no woman can ever be truly satisfied with her lesser Alpha man. I just don't think that's accurate.

I'd recommend changing your entire program, or at least your set/rep schemes, in order to overcome the plateau. Change up exercises - for example, instead of seated DB press, do standing military press; instead of barbell bench press, do dips. In regards to your injury, make sure you rest until you are pretty much 100%. Do not try to push through the pain. I did this over a year ago and I still suffer from chronic hip pain. I can squat, run, play sports, etc. but I still can't deadlift because o…

Get on a good program. Focus on compound movements. Eat just above your caloric maintenance level (~300 calories over maintenance per day). And of course, eat about 0.8-1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.
/r/TheRedPill06/04/15 11:48 PM
2

Exactly. Most guys start lifting without any knowledge about programming, diet, and their body's limitations. I "dreamer bulked" for the first 6 months or so of my lifting career, causing me to put on 30 pounds - most of which was fat. Then I had to lose those 30 pounds, which took another several months. So I basically wasted the first year of lifting because I had no clue what I was doing, and I think this is somewhat common for people. Now I know better and I aim to gain about a pound per mon…

Yup, the comments I've gotten from girls have always been about my arms or ass. Girls love the booty lmao
/r/TheRedPill06/04/15 06:55 PM

Yep, that's what people forget to mention. Everyone says "go lift" but no one says "oh, remember to eat healthy and only at a small caloric surplus, which actually might be even more important than the actual lifting in terms of producing results."
/r/TheRedPill06/04/15 06:53 PM

5x5 (and similar variants) is great for muscular development and strength. You WILL develop strong, aesthetic muscles with 5x5 training, but you need to do assistance exercises like arm work, side lateral raises, etc. to really polish your physique. Heavy lifting + assistance work for aesthetics is the best way to go imo.

Angry, yes, many RPers are angry and have good reason to be angry. Entitled? No, RP is the exact opposite of entitlement and you would know that if you spent more than 5 minutes browsing before coming to that conclusion. But I think you're using "entitled" as more of a feminized buzzword anyways.

It's crazy how accurate this is.

I like the way you think, man. Most of the guys here have a negatively skewed view of women, presumably because they've been hurt before.

So men are straight up superior to women? Come on, man. TRP is a little more sophisticated than that
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 01:47 AM

That's exactly what I was thinking. The man has to take some blame for this. He has made himself unattractive to his wife by being beta in some way.
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 01:26 AM
9

This is quite common beta behaviour. I have friends who become jerks when girls enter the equation, and I even have friends who become jerks when they're in a group of only guys. I think putting down others in a group setting is a way for betas to attempt to increase their own value in the eyes of others.
