OP here - all I have to say is you both had really good points that resonated with me and I'm grateful for your responses. I will say, the phrase "assume attraction" - I've definitely heard it, and it totally makes sense to me logically. But knowing something and feeling it are two different things. So I know I should assume attraction but I don't necessarily feel that assumption.

The main problem guys that have mostly female friends, is that they most likely were only raised by women, with no strong male influence. Goddammit. You're totally right. My dad never really took part in parenting so I didn't really have a male father figure. Can you describe more about the process you took to transform yourself to be more masculine? I feel like I'm in exactly the same boat as you (mother + two younger sisters).

I think you hit the nail on the head. I need to figure out how to escalate quicker.

First of all - everyone that's making comments about OP being French, or his looks, or his height. None of that shit matters, yo. You're missing the point of the post - regardless of what he looks like, OP is saying he's objectively worse off physically than he was before, yet he's getting more attention. OP - I enjoyed this post a lot. I am interested in some examples, if you could show us of the changes in your posture (you mentioned the neck thing), or the way you walk / make eye contact.

so i took the test + got my report - "the romantic". now what do i do? how do i work on my weaknesses? p.s. for a website named "lifeloaded.com", it's highly ironic that it won't even load for me..

It totally depends on the area though. In the Bay Area at least, I've found even in classes there to be more men than women.

make eye contact with everyone you pass. When you're walking down the street and you see someone headed in your direction, how far away do you start making eye contact? I feel like if I'm staring them down for a distance that'd be awkward.

Great suggestions here, Cuisine. What's a good way to find out about these events? I've been looking at meetup.com, but are there other sites that you'd recommend?

The 300-400 ones will last you a lot longer. Think of it as an investment. You'll be wearing them for years vs. a cheap pair you might have to replace every 6 months to a year.

Don't know why you were downvoted. It comes down to motive (which I like how you outlined in part 1). The motive behind a complimenting should be about genuine appreciation, instead of trying to see if she's available.

Honest question. What if it's a chick you hooked up with but is long distance? e.g. met at concert, spent weekend together but she has to go back far away. You know you won't see her for a few months. Do you just not text/contact till then? Or send occasional feeler texts?

i realized that i had the power to free myself from "undesirable emotional states" can you offer some tips on how you did so? because i realize that intuitively, but i don't know how to actually do it.

I don't want to interrupt your little conversation here.. but as someone who lives in a big city where no one drives and I can't use the DD excuse, do you have any suggestions for what I could say instead? Serious question..

5'7, asian, professional photo, text reviewed by peers and a dating coach, solid messages (i get a lot of women that will look at my profile after seeing my message, but still won't respond). def. better luck face to face.

Where is the line between semi-formal and formal? I have a bunch of dress shirts I wear for work, but I'd feel weird if I wore them in other contexts. Thanks for all your help!

Hmm.. good point. I have too many T-shirts. Follow-up: what do you think about V-necks? and dress-shirts in general. What's the difference between a dress shirt you wear to work and on you were in a more casual setting? The issue with a blazer is that you can't really wear them when it gets hot..

what tips do you have for dressing sharp? i know the basic stuff. finding stuff that fits you properly, matching belts to shoes, etc. but i'm at a complete loss when it comes to layering outfits and picking clothes/colors that work together.

from the sidebar. also FYI, crushing on a girl at work = not a good thing, for many reasons.

Try the local lairs: http://www.fastseduction.com/lairpage.shtml Though honestly, the people that I go out with besides the seddit lairs I've met just chatting them up at bars. Most people tend to join a lair to get started and then pair off with a good wing and head off on their own.

1) Workout and lose the weight. Don't do it for the women. do it for yourself. You'll be healthy and feel better and more confident. 2) Read the sidebar -- esp. the "NEW HERE?" section 3) Go out. You can read as much as you want, but unless you're out there talking to women, you won't get anywhere.

I'm currently texting back and forth with a French girl that moved here (US) 2 months ago. Is there any specific tips you can offer me? I approached her at a train stop but did not explicitly ask for a date, just said that we should explore the city and take pictures together.

I'm not sure a urinal story is the best way to go, but I like your conclusion. It's a good mindset to have.

I like your abundance mentality but I hope you're in this for the women, not to impress your friends.

TIL: When girls ask “what are we doing”, they really mean: “What should I wear?”

Seriously, talk to everyone. ESPECIALLY if you're new/on vacation. People are always nicer to the new guys.
