"It probably won't even last".Aah congratulations! That's really great for you guys. I think the long distance has helped us become so deep so fast. When we started dating, he had 10 days left and we had 8 dates in that time! Fell so hard so fast, and when he left we had 3 weeks apart and I had more than enough space to think, and even just relax about it. I can safely say I have never been more sure of anything in my life. And yes, I agree. Most females I am referring to in this post would shudder at the thought of being a … | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/01/17 08:21 PM
"It probably won't even last".This is a really good point, I hadn't really thought that way. I don't really get the whole 'wait and see what happens before you rush' in this situation, because surely that means I'm just waiting to see if we break up? Next time someone wants to tell me, unprompted, that my absolutely wonderful relationship isn't gonna last, I will remember this. | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/01/17 08:17 PM
"It probably won't even last".I've never thought of it that way, but you're right! The truth though is that pain can come from anywhere at anytime, therefore if you find something that does actually make you happy then surely you should go for it. That's what I'm gonna do anyway ;) I sat my best friend down and talked her though my plan. She's 10 years my senior, divorced with 2 kids and she is so wise and knows me better than I know myself. She said this is the best decision I've ever made and she's not even gonna do the wh… | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/01/17 08:14 PM
"It probably won't even last".Thank you! I am going to use the time wisely, get some more savings and retrain in a different career direction. I'm so excited!! | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/01/17 08:10 PM
"It probably won't even last".Thank you. I really appreciate you taking the time to read and comment, and you've really helped make me feel better about how others are talking about this. I think you're right about the crab mentality. When I was seeing someone who I wasnt really into and I found out he was really addicted to weed, people around me really wanted me to give him a chance. Now I have someone with their shit together who has openly said he will take care of me and wants to support me to pursue whatever I want, ev… | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/01/17 08:08 PM
How do I handle this situation?Kinda wanted to mention that part too!! Not sure about OP, but my recurring UTI's were actually sex related. Be sure to look into that, they are a killer (especially if you leave them untreated!) and until you find the cause you will keep getting them. Hope you get it sorted OP. | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/01/17 09:07 PM
How do I handle this situation?Yeah, you can't be with him every second of every day, he needs to develop a different coping strategy, especially since your health is just as important as his happiness, if not more since you are giving things up to be with him. Does he have anything he enjoys? My SO talks to me on the phone and suggests fun things for me to do that he knows I enjoy, until I say yes to one and give it a go. For some reason him pushing me a bit to cheer myself up when he's not around actually does help, more th… | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/01/17 08:08 PM
"Take care of yourself"- Practical suggestions on how to do this please!Thank you, I needed to hear that. You are definitely correct and you've given me a lot to think about- and act on. There is a yoga class in my village, so I have no excuses to not join. I have started with a new therapist today who repeated much of what you have said about age, and she told me that if you do not exercise, then from 30onwards you can lose up to 50% muscle mass. That woke me up a bit. I have definitely taken myself for granted, thank you for raising these points! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/16 03:59 PM
"Take care of yourself"- Practical suggestions on how to do this please! You're on to something here. I don't know what makes me happy and I don't do anything I'm passionate about. I saw a post on here a while ago about good role models and I don't really have any. Do you know of any in the public eye that live a life that is a good one to emulate? Especially in the RPW sense. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/16 03:53 PM
"Take care of yourself"- Practical suggestions on how to do this please!Awesome, just what I need! Thank you!! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/16 03:40 PM
"Take care of yourself"- Practical suggestions on how to do this please! This is amazing- thank you!! I'm gonna check out the cleaning you added on, do you mind if I PM you about it if I need? So many good ideas here, I really appreciate it! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/16 03:39 PM
"Take care of yourself"- Practical suggestions on how to do this please!Yes- I saw a psychotherapist today and when she saw my fitbit she told me to download my fitness pal so I can record my current diet and we can go from there. Apparently it syncs with your fitbit so you can log activity and sleep automatically along side food. I'm nervous though as I know I am not getting f half the nutrients I need! Definitely need to cut back on bread. I drink a lot of tea also, maybe it's worth cutting back later on in the day as you suggested. Thank you! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/16 03:37 PM
"Take care of yourself"- Practical suggestions on how to do this please!Wow- thank you for the fantastic advice! You've given me so much to go off here. Great idea about not bringing fizzy drinks home! Love the idea about kids snacks also, I love veggies but never put the time aside to prepare them and then miss them out of my diet. I do suffer from acne, thank you for the advice regarding that, I'm definitely gonna try it out. I also bought some body lotion after reading your post yesterday and used it after my shower, I love it!! Thank you again | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/16 03:32 PM
"Take care of yourself"- Practical suggestions on how to do this please!Thank you. You've highlighted to me that I really do need to learn to cook more, I know a few recipes but until I actually cook more I won't get any further. You're right about it being a life skill, for some reason I've never thought about it that way. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/16 03:29 PM
"Take care of yourself"- Practical suggestions on how to do this please! This is a great idea ladies, it's not all the time that I drink them but it's a bit of a gateway when I do- one leads to more! Sparkling water could help fill that void when I'm craving, perhaps add some blackcurrant squash or something. Thank you! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/16 03:28 PM
Clothing "rules"I completely agree on the maxi dresses and heels. Thank you! Usually negativity doesn't get to me, and in this case it isn't bad, it's actually quite subtle but it's just walking past certain girls in the office when I'm dressed up (not even to the nines- just a blouse, cute floral skirt and wedges) and getting the stink-eye and the up and down look that sometimes makes me self conscious. But on the other hand, I find random people- male and female- in the street or shops are much more friendly … | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/16 10:03 PM
Clothing "rules"Yes, this is a great rule to go by. I'm glad you've spelled it out for me as I know not to show too much skin, but never been too sure as what would count as that! I don't really own many long skirts, I might see if I can pick up a nice one and try to pull it off! | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/16 09:51 PM
Clothing "rules"I am as shocked as everyone else to find a perfect fitting pair of heels that don't hurt! Now I get them reheeled as I really don't think I'll ever find such a decent priced great pair again! I work in quite a Gen Y office in a small town in England. I am not in a city and we don't have a big city for hours away, so dressing up for work doesn't always happen where I am from. I mean the girls are presentable, but it's usually skinny jeans, a nice top and flats, just kinda casual wear really. So I… | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/16 09:48 PM
Benefits of RP outside of your relationship?Thank you! I actually might do so, I'm using people here as my motivation to where I would like to be but it would be great to know someone in the same stages. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/09/16 07:18 PM
Feeling a lot better about myself knowing this is a 'thing' but one so far away from the way I currently present myself. How to start?Oh really?! That's so interesting, I had no idea. Thanks for the link. This sounds great, I really don't need to work on weight loss so building muscle in the right areas sounds perfect for me. I'm excited to start!! | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/08/16 06:31 AM
Feeling a lot better about myself knowing this is a 'thing' but one so far away from the way I currently present myself. How to start?Thank you- definitely something I need to work on. Body size wise I'm quite petite and lucky to be that way naturally, but sooner or later my natural metabolism will slow down so I should get into good exercising and eating habits now. I've never tried lifting weights before though, used to do more cardio based exercise. Do you happen to know of any recourses that help you do this using things at home? | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/08/16 06:16 AM
Feeling a lot better about myself knowing this is a 'thing' but one so far away from the way I currently present myself. How to start?Thank you! I've purchased The Surrendered Single, and I've read through a lot of the posts and I'm going to try out some of the advice that's been handed out. I'll keep you all updated. Thank you for the lovely welcome! | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/08/16 06:12 AM
Meal MondaysI struggle with lunches the most, as I get very tired at work if I eat the wrong things. I cook a whole chicken at the beginning if the week and use that daily to prep a chicken salad. So quick, filling and don't get lethargic from it. The protein also helps now I am working out more :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/08/16 05:51 AM
