Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6 months. He was moved to another city for work (1 hour away) in December and he absolutely hates it there. I've been staying/living with him temporarily because he hates it there so much and wants me there.

For the last two months I've had a UTI and it's been pretty annoying but nothing serious. Now I think it has spread to my kidneys and I have to get IV injections in my other city.

For the last two days (the duration of the injection) I've been going back and forth between the two cities every day for treatment. I want to stay back here until the treatment is done because it's a lot of work travelling back and forth, but my boyfriend wants me to stay with him.

How do I let him know I'm going to be staying here without making him too upset? I really need to get this treated.
