How would you express interest without asking questions? I have had women shut down on me because they said I asked questions just for the sake of asking them; turning the conversation into more of an interrogation. Haha you're right, I guess its an old habit of seeking validation. That's actually the first time I ever heard of the term. Thank you for the link, it was an interesting read. I am able to recognize and acknowledge the feeling but I am not quite sure what you mean by accepting it.

How would I go about tackling this issue? To put it in other terms, I am most comfortable when I'm alone. I can be alone with my thoughts and not have to worry about anything else. However, I am not happy being alone. I will be in my room enjoyably for about 2 hours when I will begin to get irritated and bored. I am comfortable, but not happy. Yes you did. However, like you said yourself, you merely cited an example from a popular PUA book. Most people browsing this subreddit are looking for how these generic guides actually play out in real life. Also, if you had no intention of sharing your methods, why flaunt that you have them?
