That is a good point. We should protest that men and women are getting paid drastically different amounts for the same work in the porn industry.

Subreddits have stages in their life. In this order: Obscurity, slow growth, community forming and content producing, golden age, extreme growth, decrease in signal to noise ratio, new members completely unfamiliar, default subreddit status, complete decline in quality, little resemblance to the subreddit it was when it was legitimately good, new mods enforce sjw religion, complete abandonment by original members

If you assume free will exists somehow I cant talk you out of that delusion. The state of the economy decides how many people will be winners and losers. Think about life under feudalism: did the serfs who felt less "entitled" become winners? HA When the economy is great, there will be more winners than when it is bad, regardless of what internet geniuses say about "enittlement". The entitlement issues are real, they exist in many of the people around me and we are seeing what it leads to- joble…

Wow, generation essentialism and logical fallacies everywhere. Specifically, people in here are loving the shit out of the just-world hypothesis and the fundamental attribution error. Are you idiots not aware of the state of the economy or the nonsensical cost of higher education in the USA? How about those stagnant wages for all but the wealthiest while housing, healthcare and education costs rise? The young people today are victims of a system they had no part in creating. You wont change thin…

To be fair, some people, not just men, are legitimately creepy in a way that they make both men and women feel uncomfortable. You cant deny this. But, yes, the word has come to mean "man I am not physically attracted to" Can you imagine the outrage if men took a legitimately negative word and changed its meaning to simply mean "woman I am not physically attracted to"? Academics would write books and there would be marches.

Saying that "evo-psych" believes X and is thus wrong is flawed because no one person speaks for the entire field and there are multiple views within the discipline. The basic premise is simply that human behaviors have an evolved, genetic basis. this is opposed to the "blank slate" idea that evolution for humans stopped "at the neck" and that the human psyche is infinitely malleable and entirely at the will of society. Evolutionary psychology and sociobiology must be true to some extent if you a…

Evolution doesn't work THAT fast, and remember men and women carry the same sets of genes so women who would have been beta if born a man are still passing on their beta genes.

I read the article. TLDR he is likely a climate change denier and seems to suggest that being for campaign finance reform is being against the first amendment. He repeats that culture is not outside biology again and again but doesnt really explain it.

100% of those dudes situations were self-induced. These men were: lied to regarding nature of romantic relationships or never informed or misinformed TRP is just evolution applied to modern day sexual strategies of humans. When it comes to evolution regarding modern humans, the received wisdom is still very much along the lines of "the world is flat/sun orbits the earth." This is going to sounds SJW of me, but I think these men were victims of society.

That article is really long and the real meat of it -and the title of this post- can be found at these sources: A gene-based evolutionary explanation for the association between criminal involvement and number of sex partners. Abstract Empirical research has revealed a positive relationship between number of sex partners and involvement in antisocial behaviors. Most attempts to explain this association have taken an evolutionary perspective and argued that the same traits (e.g., impulsiveness, s…

I'm 5'3" and I am going to say no. I consider myself only nominally or technically a man. In my day to day life I get the impression that people see me as a kind of non-adult target of scorn and ridicule regardless of my actions.

Evolution is true. Evolution didnt stop "at the neck" and can largely explain why people behave as they do. The human brain evolved to be what it is today by the same process every organ of every species has come about. Evolution didnt stop 200000 years ago when "modern humans" came about. It has continued and can explain difference between and within populations.

All of them are going to ride the "cock carousel" regardless of what you do. It is kind of like the "should i have sex with a girl in a relationship?" question. The women are going to do it anyways and you wont teach them a valuable lesson and make the world a better place by abstaining.

I dont recall doing any shaming or taking a moral high ground. Also, caring about whether she cheats isnt the concern of the guys with whom she will cheat. Remember, it isnt that the cheating-with guy is the only guy she was considering and she will promptly learn her lesson when he says that he wont go through with it. She is going to do it with someone(s) anyways. It has already been decided and if you opt out, you arent teaching her a valuable lesson. You are just turning down sex. edit: he f…

You seem to be one of the few that gets it. It turns out that as far as intelligence goes, 80% of adult IQ is explained by genetics and the rest is explained by something else other than SES (socioeconomic status).

That is a blue pill of a different type. Explain why the poorest counties in america, which are in Appalachia and are totally white, are not the most dangerous. Or why in other countries that have imported africans, such as the UK, see similar crime rates among them.

The "but it aint right" folks are kind of white-knighy in their own way. Is it a moral question? I suppose so but it isnt too complicated. It boils down to "do you want to have sex or not?" Is the other guy going to be cheated on by his gf with someone(s) if not with you? Yes. Is it somehow worse or better for him if you are the guy/one of the guys she cheats on him with? No. The world isnt worse off as a whole whether you do it or not because it will happen anyways. You just didnt get laid and …

I see what youre saying. Those are the people most likely to be subjected to the most thorough dosing of the current dogma. Although theyre the most intellectually capable theyre the most brainwashed. Having lived in a formerly impoverished communist country, I witnessed the same phenomena. Not so much marxism but the invented glorious hist…

I'm glad to see someone else who has researched intelligence. I feel like "Intelligence", IQ, and g are together more redpill than theredpill. Especially when you learn about how adult iq is 40-80% genetic and that the averages vary between races.

I see you're falling for a blue pill of a different flavor: "intelligence aint real because someone told me so.." Men and women have the same average intelligence but men have a much wider range while women tend to cluster around average. Thus most really smart people are men but so are most really dumb people.

For me a "slut" isn't disgusting. When having slept with lots of guys is seen as some sort of achievement or it is compared to a man sleeping with lots of women is when I raise my eyebrows and wonder if the people around me would even entertain the idea that it actually isn't the least bit impressive for a woman to have had sex with lots of men and that it compares in no way to a man's having bedded many women.

I didnt read the link... but regardless of what he says it comes down to cost of reproduction determining reproductive strategies. Women have few eggs and the cost of a potential pregnancy is very high. Men have a virtually endless supply of sperm and the "cost" of sex is relatively nothing compared to the woman. Although we live in a world of contraception and abortion, this "ancestral" arrangement has left its mark on our psyche and behaviors. TRP is about men ignoring all that "nice guy" bull…

Only gene frequencies matter, bro. Evolution doesn't care about what you think of the results. The process doesn't have any values besides... increased or decreased gene frequencies over time. For example, fertility rates and intelligence are now inversely correlated. why dont you write a letter to evolution complaining about it? The middle class is dying, anyways.

Calling something the pinnacle of evolutionary failure is an outrageous claim. Look around you and tell me how many fatherless children are dying of starvation vs those with fathers. Youre right that women need BB but sometimes BB comes in different forms. There are different kinds of societal arrangements. In some societies children Identify with their mothers' tribe in part because paternity may not be known or men dont stick around. In our society parents often act as BB for their pumped and …

If he's better than you, than he can quite easily replace you with someone else equal to or better than you. He's the prize, not you. Did you know that in TRP we are actually talking about reproductive strategies and genetics? They, women, want the good genes for their kids because it will help her genes increase their frequencies in the gene pool. Imagine you are forming a sports team and people are lining up to be picked. People pick players that'll help them win. Its as simple as that. Throw …

A woman who couldn't even choose and hold onto a decent man is the pinnacle of biological failure: it's the only fucking thing women were evolved to do. That is quite the claim. Women have a different reproductive strategy than men. In TRP we call it AFBB. The idea is to get "good genes" for your kids from an "alpha" but have someone else pay for the kid because most likely that alpha was outta their LTR league. Nowadays the government, aka tax money of responsible people, pays for it so why not…

Human's aren't lions nor are we wolves or even apes. It is simple matter of fact that we are apes. We are genetically programmed to protect women and children, even children that are not our own. People are way more likely to help others that are related to them. This is covered pretty well in the "selfish Gene" which breaks it down by genetic relatedness Single mothers are just human females who made a bad gamble based on short term thinking. ... they all make bad decisions base on short term t…
