From what I have learned, outsiders who give opinions on your divorce usually don't understand what people go through and don't give too much weight to what they say. I didn't share a lot of the shit my ex did to me and what games she played to my family as it wasn't their business nor did I want to continue to talk about it or concern them. Well, same as you, my family was appalled that I wanted nothing to do with my ex when my son was 18. I wouldn't say that my ex has changed as she is still a…

I have been there, mate, and it sucks! It took me 5+ years to finally move past all the pain and suffering from dealing with an ex. Looking back, I wish I had taken care of myself better. I don't know if I was punishing myself or just being unable to see how I would ever get out of the mess. My ex did the same thing and tried to use DV as a weapon. There was no DV, and it was infuriating that she was lying and playing games. Something eventually clicked in my mind as I was drinking myself to dea…

I feel you, it's rough making comments without getting attacked because you stand up for equality. It's hilarious that the people that think they are trying to stop discrimination are just creating more of it.

Yeah, the guys that are happy living it up don't have a need to post here. They are on r/daddit or the other single father subs.

I find the double standard of my body, my rights hilarious here and it's the women being the gatekeepers

I didn't know about the NBA players told to flush condoms. I had that happen to me once where I came into the restroom and saw her in trash grabbing it out. So disgusting. My last ex lied about birth control. I had evidence, but courts don't give a shit.

I did the complete opposite of this guy after my first divorce and I can confirm life was fucking hell! After 5 years of pain and misery I started taking care of myself and life was 180 degrees better

I have dated/married women from Norway, Mexico, Malaysia, China, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, and US. Women are all the same mate. Give them enough time living around you in the states and they catch the entitlement and attitudes of the American women. I have FWB and see other services for intimacy but I don't have an emotional connection with women any more. Not worth it.

You can afford consult, don't be cheap. Get an attorney and see what options you have. Be 100% honest and see how and when you can exit the relationship at your benefit.

The majority of my work career, I have women managers and soley women coworkers. The inappropriate conversations they have in my presence would not be acceptable if the sexes were switched. I am about to retire, but I feel bad for the young men entering the workplace, especially in this woke era, godspeed 🙏

Just trying to push the mental limits here. But the hive mindset here is as bad as the feminist subs. Used to come and post here awhile ago and things were different but I guess the trenches are deeper now.

The socially acceptable scale favors females, two girls fucking is more acceptable than two males. A girl turning into a male is more appealing than man turning into a female. Female pass.

To be honest, I am okay with this. Facts: Ukraine is at war, civilian women and girls (under 14) are being rapped and killed by Russian soldiers daily all over the country. Ukraine needs international support to survive or Russia will eventually win. The Ukrainian's President wife is giving a press interview about the situation and trying to tap into the womanism support fundraising group. Ukraine needs every dollar it can get, so appealing to feminist I am going to give a pass to the greater go…

I have 3 exs as well. It's been about ~5 years since the last one. I just been dating and having sex but no more marriage or even emotions. I have kids/family for emotions and support. It goes both ways but women can turn very quickly

I asked a coworker out, we went to a park after lunch and when walking I tried to stop and kiss her and she just turned her head. It was an awkward walk back to the car lol. I don't have issues talking to women or asking them out. Doesn't matter if they say no or not. As an older thick boy it surprises me what I can.

It could be a satire, a lot of movies in 80s and 90s had scenes where teenage boys are being sexually assaulted and everyone would be cheering for the victim as if something amazing happened to him. It's like if you don't want a woman to sexually assault you, there is something wrong with you.

I too enjoy the sub and it's ability to stay on task, men's rights. With that said, fellow men, what's a good sub for men's self improvement or growth?

I meet my ex wife at a pier, so I went back to the pier and did some meditation and then threw the ring into the ocean. It felt good and released energy I believe

My last ex didn't have a job and cared for our child when we divorced. She played the victim and tried everything under the sun to get more of my money. She fought every attempt in court at me seeing my child from phone calls, vacations, visitation weekends etc. It wasn't about being a father it was her solution to not work. Kid is grown now and she still doesn't work, her siblings and parents support her. To be fair in the beginning it was tough as hell emotionally, but once I was able to close…

It's been 4 years since the last ex, 3 total. It could be them or could be me, all I know is it isn't happening again. I just have sex with them now, no emotional connection.

Hmm. I can resonate with this. There are some things that I can let go of.

Merry Christmas. To be honest, I would rather be alone than forced to go to the in-laws and spend all day around people that didn't like me. 💯

Keep records on everything you are paying for the child and go back if you haven't been keeping a journal. Keep records on any contact in person she has request or done. If it's been two years and she hasn't seen him or visited him that is huge. Lastly, make sure he is doing average or above in school and has some hobby, this will show that you are fit and would be harmful to move him.

There is a saying, give someone enough rope and they will hang themselves. Is your lawyer telling you to let her do this and we will use this as evidence in the future for an advantage or is your lawyer not giving you proper consultation?

My ex wanted something like 80% of my paycheck, only visitation one weekend a month and one phone call per week. Got me a lawyer and wow did the demands change once we went to court. The judge was baffled at how ludicrous her attempts at looking for the best interest of the child were.

Exactly, majority of people pay for their own college. OP needs to have funds to put in for retirement.

I got ten years left on my court order. It's been 4 years and it does get better. If you leave you are letting her win. I keep fighting to get more time and found other ways to reduce the amount I owe. She is now pissed because I didn't just roll over. My ex is quite the work and lazy af. But at the end of the day, my son is my priority in life until he can care for himself. Take a vacation and enjoy life it's too short to run.

I had a 5 year old girl and was the sole provider. My wife stopped working because she claimed she had issues. Long story short, I ended the relationship and got out. I still have to pay, but if I waited longer it was going to get worse. I also make 10x now than I did when were together. After divorce, holy hell she showed her true colors. Do what you got to do.
