Yes, and no. Sometimes the people that come before you know best. If I have a son it will be done at birth.

Truth right here. Had mine done at 21, wished it would have been done at birth.

Added reply below mistakenly... tl;dr I agree but it helps learn the lesson.

I think if minimal effort is involved and the (I agree expected) outcome helps to solidify the lesson then that may not be wasted effort. With me personally lessons are best internalized when I have all the facts - others may be so lucky as to absorb them the easy way but sadly that was never my luck.

Just to add on the "smooth movements", try to seem relaxed, again good posture, move "slower" as though you're very relaxed and comfortable. If you watch videos of masterful politicians they do this very well when entering or leaving a room and when speaking.

Yes, HOWEVER. You (OP), with your conversation control skills and understanding of how the mind works will want to give an amicable persona to your co workers. It will make you seem as though you are one of their friends - someone they could have a beer with or whatever the fuck they like to do. It is important for people to like you to some degree and look to you for approval. Others can explain why, my food just arrived lol.

from a credit perspective you should get a credit card as early in life as possible. length of account is quite important. as is number of accounts. but you should be responsible with credit and keep your balances under 20% - ideally paying off each month in full.

25% taxes after your mortgage deduction get a new tax man. I pay less than 20% in cali.
/r/TheRedPill19/07/16 07:45 PM

Exactly. It depends on your other expenses. If you make $9k/month with a $2.5k mortgage (including taxes and insurance) you still have $3k to live. That's a LOT of money if you allocate it properly.

you can easily afford a $400k house on about $100k/yr income if you don't live too extravagantly.

How do you gain respect? Have value, don't allow yourself to be used while still making an effort to be friendly and kind, show interest when others are speaking but refrain from jumping right in to the topic with your own ideas until you have some experience. Being young, this can take time. Perhaps seek an older mentor that you know to be well respected and ask for some guidance. Remember, the world owes you nothing. Respect is earned, not given. Start with all of the material on the side bar.…

As a male and self proclaimed feminist I take offense to your comment. I am for complete equality on moral and legal grounds. I am for ending the stigma that says women are delicate creatures and that men should "man up" and deal with them. I am for equal pay for equal work and effort. Your typical "feminist" female, however, wants not equality but superiority. I'm not sure what the term is for that... perhaps someone can jump in and elaborate. "Male feminists" as you describe them are probably …

I would wait for offers to arrive, as soon as you receive each offer let them know you will consider the offer and get back to them within a few days. Counter offer each offer, but be realistic and know that if you counter too high and they have another successful candidate they may just offer it to him and see if he accepts before giving you another counter offer... The key is to start with your expected range.. the low side should not be very low, the band should be relatively narrow (5%).

If I came across text fields being used for dates in your code I would fire you on the spot. Just saying... don't do that shit. You're demonstrating a lack of understanding of the tools you're using. Upvoted. Just want to add I think the ordering is a good priority. I would add that school is just part of the game. You need to learn that there are things in life you can't fight against. Like swimming against a flowing river.. learn to recognize these things and take advantage instead of complaining about things you can't change. For example, strive for high grades in high school even if you don't plan on attending college today. You might change your mind in 6 months. In general, never half …

As Tom Leykis says.. money is like a pheromone for women. You let them take a good long sniff whenever they want but you never let them have any. Never over pay (I pay, you pay is fine after a period of time.. or stay dutch) or get in the habit of paying for her.

This seems to me as though you may not be the top prize in their mind, you may be first, a close second or tied for "well I've got nothing better to do". I know this is obvious, but if you are the prize on the tallest pillar a plate flaking will be very scarce.

Rather simple really, if they want more of your attention they will work for it. If she wants an upgrade she will attempt to demonstrate value.

Maybe a 5 series towards the lower end of the range? Not mocking your car, but you can't expect phenomenal performance out of a model that wasn't designed for it. The 540 and M5s certainly are not slow or yawn inducing.

Your group 2 cars are rubbish. Avoid those.. I would look at BMW as you mention. They really are "the ultimate driving machine". I just picked up a 2012 convertible M3 black on black and I can unequivocally say it was the BEST thing I have done for myself in the last 10 years. BUT, I enjoy driving. I have had 2 Preludes (nice cars at the time for for early twenties), a truck that I still have, a G35 for about 10 months, and now the M3. I did not buy it to show off, I bought it for me. I consider myself a feminist. I believe if a woman strikes you in malice you should be able to strike back as you would a with man without fear of retribution because she is a woman and you're a big strong man. I think the UFC should start putting men up against Rhonda Rousey. I believe women should register for the selective service and be subject to the draft. Of course this does not comport with the 'feminist' viewpoint I'm sure.

This. OP is getting paid to provide work "up the food chain". If you are chatting with your co-workers beforehand about what you're working on, then everyone knows (or should) that it is your work - however, the boss may need to ultimately take heat for BACKING the OP's work (the A in RACI). Just a different perspective to consider - him putting his name on it can also be a sign that the boss is confident in OP's work.

You bring up something interesting. Read receipts. I have them turned on because i never subscribed to the 'make people wait' ideas. Loyalty to the company? The company should be showing loyalty to YOU not the other way around. If you do not go out and interview and get offers from time to time then they have ZERO incentive to pay you competitively. IF you are going to interview (and approach your current boss about it) however you MUST be prepared to walk if they do not counter. Your company is not just going to volunteer some super awesome salary right from the get-go. Everything is a negotiation. "Oh, you start out with 2 …

I love cars. I'm buying an M3 this year. probably a 2011 CPO, half cash half 1.x% interest. I've bought 2 brand new vehicles (2001 and 2004) and may not do that again until I retire. I still have the second one. You DO need to spend on some things in life - there are no pockets in a shroud. Just choose wisely, allow yourself to have SOME outlets, but use the firewood rule for your savings: Make sure you will have more than enough to see you through, and then gather 5x more.

Yes.. I agree completely. I was struggling with some real examples. The best quick examples I could come up with is don't randomly offer to 'do things' (nice) but when hosting others offer quality snacks / food / wines (generous) depending on your $ situation of course. I'm not sure thats an exhaustive list for a reader but thats what I was after.

would you mind expanding on: kind (not nice) ? Just reading that it sounded like something I want to agree with, but then I was thinking about examples and what would draw the line between the two and came up a bit blank.

I would love to see comments/FRs on (or from) this point of view. It's better to throw 2 choices if it's a 'date' this gives her a choice even if one day was booked. If its not a date, I would next until you run in to her again (maybe she will bring it up if she was interested in the first place). In either case, assume she will cancel and have backup plans. Something I've always been curious about.. I'm one of the few unmarried males in my main group of friends. I don't pull 'a lot' of pussy because I'm busy but some. Before TRP I would have said FWBs. some longer term, others not so much. I do not bring girls around my main group because I don't want them hearing the other girls say "Oh you two are good together" and "we need to get you married" blah blah blah. Basically everyone around me at work is in the 6 figure arena (myself included). My solution? Know your shit. How do you get there? Know what to ask, when, and of whom. There is a woman I work with who is WAY over her head technically (I have no idea how she got her title) and she feels the need to ask questions to make herself sound relevant.
