I didn’t even get far enough to read that but holy shit lol People watching can be a good bonding experience because you can sort of feel out how the other person sees people and the world in general but that’s gotta be one of the dumbest questions you can ask a date...

I think tinder has definitely changed. When it first popped up a few years ago I signed up and I had around 650 matches within 4-5 months before I deleted it. I’m not the best looking guy in the world and I’m not photogenic at all, and my pictures weren’t super special, just me at the beach, or out with friends. When I signed up again recently I had 12 matches after a month and change. I would delete, restart and had the same thing as what’s happening to you. I’ve given up on tinder and bumble t…

My two best friends, one girl and one guy, each gave me advice. The dude said fuck it don’t try again because she obviously had the chance to text you back at some point, the girl said basically what you did word for word. Now I’m not sure. If I text her again like a week later now I don’t even know what to say.

Dm, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up. Having a third party be the one to give her your ig, and with you having already followed her, is a bad look.

It sounds like she sees you as an emotional doormat and she's knows she can get attention from you when ever she feels like it. On top of that you mentioned in your other post that she hangs out with some dude you're obviously jealous of and they do drugs together. It sounds like you two really aren't as compatible as you think.

I don't disagree but if his mind state is aim to spoon he's probably not mentally ready for one girl, let alone two.

I was in almost the exact same situation when I was 21 (25 now). There's a LOT I've learned since then and I think a key thing you need to understand here is that you're thinking about a fantasy and that's what you can't get out of your head. I'm guessing you've never hooked up with this girl youre taking about so the only thing you're obsessing over is how good things would be if only you were with her. It's a very common problem so don't think there's anything wrong with you. In my case I had …

No, you've completely tied your happiness, validation, and self-worth on the ability to find a girl and the fact that you can't just perpetuates your negative feelings about yourself. It's a vicious circle and breaking out of it starts with learning to value your own life (and body, goals, etc.) instead of relying on the validation you get from others. You may or may not have heard this before, but if your happiness is tied to someone else's opinion you will never be happy. How old are you?

Seek professional help and forget about women for now. Seriously. Suicidal thoughts and depression are no joke, and overcoming your own bad self-image should be your priority. Talking to someone who can help you confront and conquer your own demons is probably a good start. Start with a trusted friend, if nothing else.

You don't tell her anything. you do what you want, which is chase after girls who are actually interested in you. This is why is important to be honest with yourself and your intentions/desires because they almost always show through in your behavior which is what really matters here. If you truly don't care whether or not this girl is just a friend or more then you shouldn't let what she thinks dictate your actions.

First be completely honest with yourself when you say that you like hanging out with her, even platonically. If that's the case then chase after someone who is interested and hang out with her like you would any other girl friends you have.

Yea, it's like when you have a cold and your body is just telling you to rest and take it easy. You went through a breakup recently, sounds like you've been going out a lot , you might just be burned out and your mind is telling you to take the night off. Go work on a hobby, read a book, watch a movie by yourself, have some "me-time." It's not only healthy, but necessary on occasion. Just don't let it be an excuse to not act, but that doesn't sound like your problem.

If you saw her looking at you throughout class, she saw you looking at her. And not speaking. Women are extraordinarily good at noticing these things, it's possible you gave her a creep vibe without realizing it. Then again, it's only one day, say hi and be warm and genuine when you say it and she'll feel it. I grew up pretty introverted and I can tell you people like that tend to follow others' leads, especially in conversation. If she's just shy, showing her how you want to communicate with he…

Seems like you're thinking about this way the fuck more than is healthy. Say hi, maybe she's an introvert or maybe you gave off a creepy vibe.

I'm willing to bet you don't run out of things to say, you stop yourself from saying the things you want to say. You're too afraid to be forward and honest about what you want so you stick to the safe route, the familiar, what you know won't get you a slap-and-drink-in-the-face rejection which is what you fear most. Read Models, if you haven't already, then read The 50th Law by Robert Greene and 50 Cent. Thats a highly underrated book that I don't see talked about close to enough on this sub, bu…

I'm thinking what it comes down to is during your interactions, always be escalating. Leave no doubt as to your intentions. When you text/talk on the phone keep it simple and to the point without bombarding her all day, every day. You're not actively trying to stay in her life but when you cross paths you're enjoying yourself and you're enjoying her company because she's enjoying yours.

Don't fantasiE. You fall for the fantasy dream girl you've built up in your head before you know who she really is. You don't know how many guys she's been fucking, or for what reasons, or if she's really as nice and sweet as she seems. Not to say every girl you meet is actually like that - far from it - but don't let yourself think she's someone who fulfills the fantasy of your dream girl when you don't really know her at all.

This was me all through high school. Wasted all of my ha years on one girl and what it took to get over her was complete non contact. Start there. Do whatever you have to do to think about it from a different angle. For example, none of this "I'm an idiot" garbage. Rephrase that to "now I know what not to do again." Read models and no more mr nice guy before anything. That's where Im at right now but it's helped immeasurably. For once I'm looking forward to getting out there again and I wouldn't…

Actually now that you point it out its a pretty apt summary of awkwardness and sexual tension. They're pretty much the same thing but it's how you react to it that makes more one or the other.

I read models and its great. I'm about halfway through no more mr nice guy and I just started on how to win friends and influence people. Models is absolutely fantastic (it literally changed my entire outlook and approach to dating) and no more mr nice guy applies to me in so many ways it's not even funny. I could see it being a great read whether it applies to you or not though.

I don't agree with this. I know girls who've gone out, with or without their friends, just to be doing something other than dwelling on whatever they were feeling right after a failed relationship. It's possible she had no intention of doing anything other than getting back out there but not necessarily ready to start dating and/or/hooking up literally two days later. Either way though, OP wasn't getting anywhere with her that night

Maybe he's overthinking it? Not trying to give you false hope or anything. Do you know if he's talking/interested in other girls? If not, make the first move. Bring up the night you were out and tell him what you posted here. Maybe a little more playfully, but if you want him, sometimes the guy needs more than hints, we need a fucking anvil dropped... If he's not into you and it was just because he was drinking then at least you'll know. Edit: I'm pretty inexperienced so I'm not the best example…

Sounds like he's into you, got drunk and said something he normally wouldn't have. Something similar happened to me recently (guy here) so maybe I'm projecting but that's my take

I haven't gotten over that and I know it. Escalation is my biggest issue right now. I know this girl is into me, at least somewhat. Idk how much or what she wants and I don't know how to even bring it up. The subject of the other girl came up because we were already talking about work so it wasn't entirely out of left field but like I said I sorta panicked and said the first thing which I know wasn't the best thing.

im finding lately that funny has more to do with how you say it. if you say something and expect people to laugh, more often than not they will, whether its funny or not.

Summer-wear in winter is probably closer to flirty (not including rain, etc.), while club-wear any time you're not actually going out clubbing is probably slutty.
