I addressed the why in my second paragraph, outdated societal and cultural expectations. In theory, I know height does not matter at the end of the day, but it is something that is a work in progress to me. I just can’t help but feel like a giant wooly mammoth when I’m in heels and 6’0 next to a man that’s 5’6. It’s something that’s jarring to me, as I don’t see it as often. However, thankfully, the world is a progressive place and I know in time it will most likely become another norm.

Models are tall because it works in the designers favour in regard to showing off clothing, and they’re less likely to be as swallowed up by very grand designs. Catalog/social media brand models can be of any height usually. There are definitely men on social media/tiktok who say women over 5’7 are chewbaccas, ogres, considered “men” and not women etc. I’ve seen some reposted tik toks like that on instagram with thousands of likes. Not saying it’s comparable to what men experience with height, b…

I’m from the Bosnian/Croatian border but I don’t live there anymore hence “back in my home country”. The whole Balkan/Eastern European area has a pretty tall average height for men and women.

Childhood obesity, diabetes etc is a much bigger risk to a majority of kids than a strict vegan diet lol. A very niche example. Obese kids are normally taller in childhood, but will slow in height growth later on. This is based on a journal I read some time back, so perhaps research has changed.

That’s reassuring, truly. I know many men would, it’s just unfortunate I’ve had a bad situation personally.

Not necessarily, I was fine at first dating someone my own height until they couldn’t stop beating into my head that they essentially wished I was shorter. Not saying I wouldn’t date someone of a similar height again, but it has made me weary.

I’m a 5’9 girl, the “average” height of men in my home country is 5’11-6’0. If I wear heels I’m around 6’0, and I can’t help but feel uncomfortable next to a man that is significantly shorter. Society, and my culture, has always engrained in me that the man should at least be of equal height or taller. If they’re significantly shorter, you’re the butt of all jokes, you know people are talking about it behind your back etc. It’s easy to say “don’t let it bother you”, but I can’t help that it woul…

You don’t sound like much of a catch yourself lol, you’re toxic in your own way.

With an attitude like this no wonder you’re on the struggle bus. It doesn’t sound like you’re very fond of women, so why do you expect them to be fond of you in return?

This reads like it was written by a teenager. Your post history shows you attempting to discuss the Fisherian Runaway Theory with no engagement - so don’t act like you’re doing us a favour by not explaining it when you know you’re dying to.

In that example, you’re equating one with winning and one with losing. Which only goes against my point, because I’m saying they’re equal despite being different. One is not worse off, nor better off.

What I mean is, sex should be seen as important/as big of a deal towards men. Implying 150 partners for a man is different/not as bad as 150 partners for a woman based on penetration implies sex is more significant for a woman than it is for a man. When to me, it’s the same thing.

Haha you have me in a pickle trying to articulate my thoughts; but the fight example I guess is like comparing apples and oranges. What I guess I mean by principle in my original comment is - it’s a shared intimate experience that relies on both people; they’re equivalent to each other despite it being different. To me, someone sticking their bits inside another person, is just as intimate/a big deal/risky as it is for the person on the receiving end. I don’t have casual sex so my body count is …

I would be surprised and feel different too, it’s uncommon/taboo for men who aren’t gay to talk about anal/pegging. Lots of people consider being penetrated as a submissive/feminine/gay thing and therefore would be confronted by your example due to the connotations associated with it. In saying that; maybe in like 300 years getting pegged will be super common and then people will see it the same

Unless it’s like, an organised fight, I don’t consider it the same since there’s no consent or awareness it’s going to happen. There isn’t the same common ground.

Technically it’s not the same, because it is physically different. You can’t penetrate something, without the other thing existing. Therefore, both rely on each other, and in principle, makes it the same thing to me. Someone willing to stick their body parts into someone, is the same thing as that person accepting to receive said body parts. The point about diseases spreading can be minimised with protection. Some people just choose not to use it, or don’t like how it feels. Also, I have no idea…

You literally don’t know a single thing about me. just like you mentioned radical feminism, your comments and posts are giving off major incel vibes. Take care.

No one is entitled to know how big someone’s dick is, that is private - especially if you date in mutual friend circles where people know each other distantly or might run into someone. It’s not fair to your ex, or to your current partner. And my options are fine, thanks. I’ve never met anyone that was curious about the size of past dicks.

Big dicks hurt for a lot of people, you’ll probably find just as many people saying they’d prefer an average sized one. Obviously none of the men in this sub have had their cervix hit before!

This is some severe insecurity. my partner asking me to describe my ex’s dick would also be a relationship ending fact.

Depends, I’ve never had the balls to do it (I’ve implied things to make them ask me out lol) - but I’ve witnessed it a couple times where gals take the lead.

People in the past settled just as much, just so they can say they got married and had kids to not feel societal exclusion and failure. Why do you think divorce skyrocketed so much as soon as it become more acceptable to leave your partner/be single? Now divorce rates are on the decline according to your source - this can be attributed to people not being as religious or caring for marriage; and also because people are picking better partners who are more compatible.

Yes to the varied tastes in men. Everyone here seems to think women only chase macho men who are 6’5, groomed to hell and rich. I find guys with shaggy hair and mismatched socks to be more my cup of tea, bonus points if they’re geeky. When I think of my friendship circle, the guys my friends date really are so different to the next. Mullets are a big thing in Australia, so are tradies. We really are the opposite of what I see in this sub lol.

To me, a “bad boy” is someone young who smokes cigarettes behind the school before class, once you’re older than that - you’re just a jerk or a douche lol. I don’t know any adult women who refer to adult men as “bad boys”

The “bad boy” thing is so cringey to me. I’ve never dated one and never will. Gentle, soft, funny, quirky >>>> every time. I feel like I saw some of this “bad boy” (think teenage rebellion) chasing behaviour in high school, but not really after that. I don’t know any woman that wants an unpredictable and dishonest man - that sounds terrifying. The problem is “nice guys” that overly state they’re nice, are usually not nice and just feel entitled. Naturally nice guys don’t need to reinforce and re…
