I have an autistic nephew, same age. Been thinking of doing the same thing for him. I know when I switched to linux and started coding, I never looked back!

A decade ago I was smugly optimistic, believing that feminism would get so bad that they would be forced to face the facts about it. I thought the nonsense would end, and traditional roles would be restored. Instead, it is far worse than I expected, and their resolve is only stronger. They shoot themselves in the foot, and blame the pain on the other foot, so they shoot that one too. Enjoy the decline, gents. I have no hope for civilization. Opting out is the only sensible choice.

I'm trying to internalize this. One of the greatest benefits of going monk is that you don't need money beyond supporting your own basic needs. You don't need a fancy status symbol car, house, etc. to attract women. Right now, I have more money than I know what to do with, just because I invest most of it and spend almost nothing. I still work too hard, out of habit. I should slow down. We probably all should.

Living the life. Enjoy! I have always been taken by how peaceful MGTOW is. Dating is full of wild ups and downs... but staying single by choice, is like a flat line, and only you decide how high or low it is. I got to spend my Sunday reading a book, cooking for myself, and working out. It was perfect. Edit: I realize those brothers still in red pill rage probably feel anything but peace right now. It will pass. Stay strong.

They transition, hoping to get a slice of that sweet sweet male privilege, only to find they were the privileged all along... but when they go back they're going to find they can't have female privilege either, because no man would want a double-transexual. That'll make the wall seem like a mere speedbump in comparison. Though my heart goes out to the ones who were pushed into it when they were kids.

You're not crazy, the world is. You sound like one of the few smart ones, but just know that the world will always judge you negatively for it. This is the path we choose. I'm the same way now. Which is funny because I used to be more or less a sex addict; chasing it every weekend, often juggling 3 fuckbuddies at a time... and for what? It consumed all my time, and instead of working on myself or my business, I was working on that ego validation. It's stupid. Once you fully accept the truth of t…

I feel you, brother. The world is sick, and I worry it might be too late to save. We can either try and fail, or be seduced by despair and just give up. Don't give up. I think it might be time for me to get off the reddit. Do a dopamine detox. And try to be better. Maybe that'll do you some good too, what do I know.

That actually would explain a lot. "I'm not a failure, I just have high standards". Though sadly the same would explain a lot of guys on here who claim to be MGTOW.
/r/MGTOW04/06/21 05:22 AM
11

I keep wondering that. I can't fault them for having standards, who doesn't. The problem is when they act entitled to get that, and instead of offering something in return to match it, they offer a net negative for the guy. It would be like... I'm going to just walk into the mercedes dealership and instead of paying for a car with money, I'll just take a big shit in the middle of the showroom floor... And then get outraged when they won't give me the car.

Interesting comment near the bottom: I only count 7. As I got older I realized most of my experiences didn’t really count. Either I was a teen or they lasted 2 minutes or they werejust lame and insignificant If most of her experiences don't count, then by definition her real number is at least double. And at least high enough that it has become meaningless to her. I wonder how many more people in the 0-10 range were fudging their numbers lower? Most of them?

Imagine if divorce settlements were based on who has the highest likelihood of bouncing back. Fat unemployed men get the house and most of the money. Women are told to just "pick another guy". The kids go to whoever has the better career. Totally Unfair! - Feminists, probably.

When you register a domain, you can make it private. 'Technically' this mean the company you used (e.g. namecheap) owns the domain in some capacity because they just use their name. That method used to scare me, but after all these decades I haven't heard of a legitimate domain company actually stealing someone's work. As far as hosting, that should never reveal your identity or location to random people. Ditto for your payment method. Now if you are worried about a state-level adversary, i.e.…

I think it was actually some preacher long ago who came up with the rule "Never spend time alone with someone of the opposite sex who isn't your spouse" in order to avoid not only adultery, but also the suspicion of it. Then it made headlines when Mike Pence mentioned following that rule and the woke media was outraged. I find it hilarious, he took away their main weapon. You can hate his politics, but you can't make false accusations about him when everyone knows he wouldn't be caught dead in t…

Why is this so complicated for blue pillers? Following the Mike Pence rule is the only way to have a sustainable monogamous relationship - and it applies to both parties. If she so much as has an account on tinder/onlyfans/misc dating sites = insta-dump. She is 'friends' with a guy she isn't related to = insta-dump Even facebook would make me deeply suspicious. That shithole facilitates more adultery than tinder.

Shit tests are the pinnacle of female insanity. Ya she wants a tough masculine guy, and it turns her on when you put her in her place. So whenever she's bored, she'll do something to piss you off, just to watch you rise up to the challenge. But no sane man would want to be with a woman who does that to him. So if he really does have a pair, he won't even try to pass the shit test; he'll just dump her.

Not sure if he's incredibly stupid or incredibly brave. If all men were simultaneously brave enough to speak the truth like this, we might actually save the world. But they aren't. So instead all that happens is you get fired by the woke mob. So we're forced to stay anonymous or silent. A global scale prisoner's dillema. It's in everyone's best interest to work together. But you can't trust anyone else, so it is the logical choice to act self interested.

This is actually the law in Canada. Prostitution is legal here for the woman, and illegal for the man.

It's basically sexual marketplace fraud. Her value is a 1, she enters a legal contract while claiming it's a 10. But when the fraud is revealed, instead of facing consequences, the other party now pays HER compensation. *honk* *clown world*

That was a pretty big red pill for me; realizing that no matter how sweet and innocent she seems on the outside, it is all just an act. I mean the average women thinks and acts like a psychopath compared to the average man. The prostitution thing makes sense when you think about it though. People don't want to work at McDonald's because unemployment pays better. Women don't want to work at any normal job because prostitution pays a lot better. I don't even blame them for this one. A lot of guys date down, thinking she'll be more humble. And if that worked, it might not be a bad idea. But a female 4 who screws a male 10 in a drunken one-night stand will suddenly think she's entitled to ALWAYS land a 10, even when she gets old, racks up debt and other men's children. 'Humble' is not a word in their lexicon. Only men do that. It is a most curious phenomenon.

9 times out of 10 the majority of the girls are undesirable. 9 out of 10 women in the world are unattractive, when you look outside of porn and T.V. Besides, approaching is hard. Most attractive women will never need to do it and never develop the skill. All men, and some ugly women must learn game. Hot women just sit there wondering "What do I say?"

Depends on the girl, and the situation. I had no canned routines, I usually said very little, but I had more balls and wit than most guys. I would just keep approaching until I won. Rejections are irrelevant (especially before #metoo). My body language did all the work. One of the more common situations would go something like this: I hover near the end of the bar lineup - one of the few places quiet enough to hear each other. Wait for attractive gal to step in line. Join behind her. Come up wit…

This. I went nightclubbing a lot around 2009-2013 Every other weekend I would meet a chick that would say "No thanks, I have a boyfriend" An hour later, we'd be making out in a taxi. It means nothing to them. I feel bad for the guys, but if she's dancing like a slut, she's not yours anymore.

Dude I feel so much grief for young guys. I thought it was rough for me, but hooooo-ly shit they're in trouble. I've been talking to a few 20 year olds lately who seem like normal guys, funny, in shape, decent jobs... but all have completely given up on dating. It's like a generation wide depression, and there is nothing more they can do about it. I'm endlessly thankful I was able to have some fun and get it out of my system when I did. Because I would be bordering on suicidal otherwise.

Fuck this hits so hard. I had one ex who was the sweetest, most submissive housewife type you could ask for. Until she went back to university and got fed the feminism kool-aid. Next thing you know she wants to dress slutty and go out nightclubbing to (and I quote) "have other guys buy [her] drinks". I dumped her on the spot. She starts telling all my friends and family that I'm a misogynist who feels threatened by her confidence. Can't make this shit up.

Let's say I offer you a legal contract where you have many obligations, few (if any) benefits, and the opposing party has a financial incentive to violate what they agreed to do. An incentive that you get to pay when they do break it. Does that sound like a good deal? That's marriage. Now if I could go back in time, when there were consequences for adultery, when a dowry was paid, when it was often a mere political alliance between two families so they can both grow stronger... hahahaha fuck no. I was a broke fatass. And I also had rich, attractive friends who got nowhere, but only because they gave up after the first rejection. My point is that if you make enough approaches to get rejected 100 times, you will get laid. I don't care who you are or what you look like. Flirting is a skill, some people are born with it, but I had to learn it. Getting over rejection is also skill. Anyone can learn it. But ya I walked away around the time of #metoo. If you are afraid of rejection, I offer you a challenge. Go approach women every weekend until you have been rejected 100 times. I promise by the time you finish, you will be so unaffected by what people think of you, that you will have the kind of confidence most men only dream of. I believe psychologist Albert Ellis famously did this. I tried it when I turned 20. Except I stopped counting rejections because I became numb in the single digits and started hearing "yes" more often than "no". Hell…

The first two are pure gold. 3 is controversial because imo this makes the difference between mgtow and mra. Do you fight to change the system, or do you opt out of the system? I consider myself a mgtow, opting out, because the causes I fight for are only indirectly antagonistic to the globalist/feminist agenda. I see no hope for the future (black pill) but I like to plant the seeds of ideas in people. Get them thinking about how maybe we shouldn't depend so much on big government and big tech. …

Congratulations on the continued aging, brother. This one hit deep. I've been a loner for life, and intentionally avoiding society as much as possible for a few years. No more girlfriends. In high school I was the biggest loser. Couldn't count how many times I was rejected. So I felt like I had something to prove when I finally figured it out around age 20. Cue a couple years of fucking everything with a pulse. I always *wanted* a traditional, monogamous relationship. But 100% of the time I tried, I was fed a big fat red pill in some form or another. Marriage seemed suicidal, so I would always go back to just casual sex. Eventually I got bored of that and stopped altogether. I hav…
