It’s true because the more aloof and indifferent you are the more attractive you become. You can be physically desirable but still be a simp. Being good looking as a man is definitely an advantage but it absolutely isn't enough on its own to get a woman, never mind a high quality one. It might get her to pay attention to you but you still need to have more. If you simp or show weakness she will be disgusted regardless of your physical appearance. No woman wants to fuck a man with a low quality personality / desperate / low confidence etc. just because he's good looking.

I'm being a bit of a hypocrite but Reddit, once a purveyor of free speech, has become a liberal/progressive cesspool ridden with dark patterns. I remember a few years ago there was more bit of nuance all over Reddit but now it's simply progressive/liberal corporated-backed propaganda everywhere you go and if you disagree you're downvoted to hell, banned from subs, and sometimes outright permaban from the whole website.

The bottom comment makes it seem like the guy is of lower value due to his need to compliment a female for attention. Side guy is stating his intention very clearly and is making the point that he thinks he can hit it. Main guy only has to like because he is already fucking. It’s about perception with women. Plenty of ugly fat guys find attractive women by buying nice vehicles/flexing their wealth. This will get you laid. Plenty of broke ass studs get laid as well. It’s about projecting your value as a man, and if you don’t stand out physically, financially, or socially then throwing out a heavy compliment like the simp at the bottom makes a female think you are below her in market value by reinforcing princess mentality.
Women don’t want an asshole, they want someone who they think is better/too good for them. Those same men they want know their value and might not return a text for two days as their in no rush to talk, which is for some reason considered “asshole” territory.
