Thank you for your input and for recognizing that the core of this movement is now aiming at appreciating one's self. Having said that, I'm not interested in what girls say they want, only what they respond to. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but when a brunette is on her high horse and assumes I want something from her, nothing helps put us both on equal footing than when I say "Well, I prefer blondes".

I used to have a hard time with this. My MO requires that I NEVER get flustered. I often ask the other guy/s to be good sports and "go get the first round". 1/5 of the time they oblige! Are there a lot of "passive aggressive" pick up techniques? No. 99% of the people who try to be more outgoing and open in social situations are trying not to do things like this.
