I benefitted a lot from the community about 4 years ago, especially from the guys up in Boston. Incredible group.

Since then I've been in a long relationship that ended about a month ago. I'm good at this. I do love the game, but I need to be in the right place. My last girlfriend was awesome, perfect body, hot, sweet as can be, do anything for me. But she wanted kids and I'm not ready for that.

Anyway, I'm trying to get back out there and its hard. I can laugh and shoot the shit with old ladies or any dude in the bar. But I can't make a coherent sentence when an attractive woman is even in the room.

I remember feeling the same way all those years ago and I'm trying to remember what piece of advice snapped me out of it. I just remembered, so that's why I'm writing this.

All the cool tips and advice help, but what ultimately helped me get out there was this: 3 things need to be in order, your finances, your health, and your spiritual life.

The one piece that I was missing was my health. Whenever I start working out it just gives me confidence in everything I do.

So a month after jumping back into the game with seeing 0 results, I went to the gym this week, and in these last 2 nights I've had a great time. Approaching, just feeling comfortable enough to be myself and not expecting anything from anyone.

My advice certainly doesn't apply to everyone, but guys, if you've ever struggled with jumping in, and you've never tried getting your heart rate up for 30 minutes twice a week, you need to try it. Don't set a goal of being a male model, but don't remain on the couch either.

I've read thousands of excerpts from some manual and felt like "oh shit, if I could just capture the feeling I have after just reading that I'd be unstoppable". All good, but nothing put me over the hump like working out.
