This! My parents also decided for me at birth. I've got a friend who decided for her boys with their father. Asked her what she'd do if our other friend did that to his daughter. "not the same thing!". No, not exactly the same, but both are fucking horrible and no parent should decide this for their kids.

You're correct. I've grown up with the conservative term: circumsized. Sorry about that.

Have you even read my first comment? Are we perhaps lost in translation? 1) non-medical GM (genital mutilation), despite gender, is wrong and should be illegal. 2) feminists are hypocritical to call out FGM as something bad but not MGM. 3) third world GM is not comparable to GM in developed countries. Hence why comparing American boys having their forescins cut off is generally hugely different from Egyptian girls getting their clitorises cut off and vaginas sewn together. However I'm equally ag…

I agree. It's wrong despite age and gender. I commented on someone who probably doesn't know that in third-world countries, FGM is hugely different from MGM. Nonetheless, both are wrong.

I'm not sure if there's a sane place for guys on Reddit to discuss stuff concerning men's issues, etc. MensLib is also quite weird.

Honestly I couldn't care less for being downvoted. I'm seeing more and more incel/radfem-like behavior in this sub and it saddens me.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but getting your clitoris cut off and having the whole shebang sewn up is really not the same as having your foreskin cut off. Nevertheless, genital mutilation is horrific and should be considered illegal, despite gender, age, culture, etc. I'm pissed that a whole lot of feminists I've talked to, don't even consider MGM a bad thing. Speaking from experience.

Although I absolutely agree that this double standard exist and is pure BS, these two articles are extremely similar. Did the author intentionally copy his old article or is either one a fake screenshot?

Not related to men's issues or rights but I had a similar experience where my son saw some of fruits I placed to the cashier and wanted it immediately and started crying really loudly. An elderly woman began to touch him and tried to wipe off his tears, touching his hair, etc. to calm him down. I told her to back off in a neutral manner but she insisted that he was in pain because of hair in his eyes and so on. I said I know my own son and that it was because of the fruit he wanted. Her response…

My thought on this is that the sexes experience objectification in different ways. Women generally seem to be more susceptible to and take more harm from sexualization than men, however this "news" page is extremely condescending towards both Kit and the fact that men ARE ALSO affected by sexualization, even if not as much or in the same way as women generally are. It's like the bullshit about "reverse racism" and how there is no such thing as racism against white people, because racism is a soc…

"Every year more than 1000 boys and men in Sweden take their lives. Be aware of whether a friend, someone in your family or colleague changes behavior, goes through a tough phase or event in life. By doing something as easy as asking the one who is ill and listening to the answer, life can be changed and saved."

I can't agree as numbers have always been far left or far right adjusted when presented to me, and BRÅ (state crime data-thingy) is not a good enough source. But I do see the problem and the far left people who is mostly radical feminists here in Sweden, are also sickly migrant positive. I mean, I really want to help victims of war, but if you do this, you're not welcome. Most of the people I know agree, but then there is the feminists party (not yet above the voting threshold, but still include…

I'm a Swede and this is the first time me and many of my colleagues, friends, family even hear of it. It's definitely not the biggest festival in Sweden despite what you might have heard or even read. We've recently had a problem with alleged* group rapes and gropings against women at festivals, ending up in whole festivals being shut down and then there is this shit, which only allows "non cis-men". Even if the claims could be over-exaggerated, there could still be idiots out there who ruin eve…

Can we get more upvotes in this post? It’s very important to shed light on the shaming of sexual abuse against men, especially if the person is a minor. This feels like a reversed Kevin Spacey-case to me. Still, media is willing to let her accuse a kid of raping HER. Will she come out as bi-/homosexual now?

Sorry, but I wouldn’t agree that’s the same thing, even if it’s probably defined in that way. Now don’t get me wrong. I still think it’s morally wrong and is correct to be criminalized and equally penalized, but picture being two years over the age of consent and having “mutually agreed” sex with someone who is one year under the age of consent, is still different from being thirty and exploiting a six year old. It’s still morally wrong but can the two still be equally categorized under rape? I’…

Honestly, I don’t know if you’re right or wrong. “My personal definition of rape” (if I can begin with that) is when one of the involved is, in any way, forced into any type of sexual intercourse without consent and against their will. Having consensual sex with someone underaged is more morally fucked up rather than actual rape. Am I wrong?

r/iamverysmart Get off your high horse and at least TRY and realize that your way of claiming most Muslims hate Jews and homosexuals are equally bad to saying most men are rapists or hate women. I try to tell you my point of view based on actual interference with relatives who are, in fact, practicing Muslims, who have no such view on either homosexuals or Jews and for that you tell me I’m dumb and how I have no understanding of statistical significance, yet you’re the one who use the amount of …

I still see what you’re saying, but with your logic, I guess it’s ok to claim that most men are rapist, that most catholic christians are pedophiles and that most black people are poor or criminals. I mean, since cats generally have four legs and, in your opinion, it seems like a good idea to judge a whole community based on actions of part of said community. That’s no better than judgmental radical feminists.

Now, I’m not defending homophobia or anti-semitism, but isn’t generalization one of the many things were trying to discourage with this sub? Don’t get me wrong, I see your point, but a clear majority of the Muslims I know (relatives and friends) couldn’t care less about homosexuality and the only reason we ever speak of jews are due to the Zionist ideology of some Israelis, their illegal settlements and mistreatment of other nationalities, mainly Arabs.

I’m being downvoted for asking a legit question. - Nice! Too bad he’s a nut job. I really liked him when he made music with Mos Def in back in Black Star. I really didn’t know about his Twitter rant. I usually listen to music and not the artist’s political/ideological view. Now, I don’t like how “non-Hamas” Palestinians are being mistreated, but most of the pro-Palestinian activists are so far off with their anti-Semitic comments. I’ve liked him and his music for a long time until reading this post. However, I don’t understand what makes him anti-Semitic? And what is so bad about Farrakhan? The Swedish wiki page about Farrakhan is not that good.

I wouldn’t say I am. I could easily be knocked out by a woman with the correct technique, despite being stronger and larger. There’s a huge difference in “can’t fight” and “can’t fight with the same strength”. Nevertheless, not being put into situations where you have to learn, is the real problem. A majority of women don’t want to learn until it’s too late.

Our ruling party has a social secretary minister (not sure if that’s the right title) who tweeted that men should probably not be able to vote when Trump was elected. This was ignored thanks to two things: 1) she’s a woman and female macho culture against men is appropriated in Sweden. 2) two of her colleagues who are not as far up in the hierarchy, called here a whore on camera. The outcome was that they were immediately fired (good. you should never call anyone names, and you should definitely…

It does, but I get a feeling women lives matter a little more right now. The whole side effects or excessive diagnostics just feel like bad arguments, especially when they didn’t even consider it when deciding on breast or cervical cancer for women. The later vaccine even showed positive a positive result for young boys and some form of cancer but wasn’t considered an obligatory treatment either.

I’m a Swedish citizen and I can say that I’d be less scared of this proposition IF it went both ways for both/all genders, but seeing the enormous amount of support women have received from social media and even regular media with the MeToo “revolt” lately, collective punishment towards men has become socially acceptable and even promoted here, even by old white men within the government. I can promise you that, even with the socially awkward and isolating behavior we Swedes intend to practice, …

I actually just wrote to a friend who is hanging out with a feminist celebrity here in Sweden. She recently shared a photo on Instagram where her friend asked men to take responsibility for their and other men’s actions and talk about it in an open forum. Of course only women are victims and men are collectively responsible for the crimes which can, of course, only be committed by men.

I think I might have misunderstood the context but to me, that's what makes it "less bad" when a woman slaps the shit out of a man. It's still a violent crime though.

I mean, sure I'll take this into consideration. But the fact that he might not care and everyone is still fine with it, pisses me off, mainly because everyone would think the opposite if the genders were swapped. Even if a woman didn't care that someone grabbed her ass, the guy would still be tackled, called out and probably even sentenced accordingly. I don't argue with the fact that he possibly didn't mind. I just don't like the way media treat male on female crimes in comparison to the opposi…

First of all. Breitbart... Second, this is an environmental party politician. No one, not even feminists, take them seriously any more. A couple elections ago, people were somewhat interested in their politics but as soon as they were given some sort of a voice after being given a place in the combined government (not sure of the correct word) with the socialist party, everything about them has been made obvious. They tend to fuck up things just to prove a non-existing point, even if they're com…

I've been in similar situations, mainly with former girlfriends, and up until a few years ago when I met my current girlfriend, I didn't argue much against when a girl punched or even slapped me. My problem - It's how society has told me to act. Since then I've confronted my current girlfriend for kicking me once. She constantly brings it up and feel bad about it even after two years but still sometimes shares this wild belief that it's "not as bad" to hit a guy if you're a girl (even if the gir…

If a majority of the people who work with said jobs are men, then yes, that would cause the average pay for men to raise above women. Same goes for what someone else posted, where top five well paid jobs are dominated by men and top five low paid jobs are dominated by women. I mean of course there have been workplaces where a woman with the same job as me, is paid more. Mainly due to better argumentation skills, being hired longer or having a more valuable education. There have also been rare oc…

I agree, but it's not easier. Consider social media. Anyone who has a voice (even if not their own) will occasionally show this to the rest of the world. It's not that it's easy to hide, but rather easier to see and not care about as a bystander and at some point, the bystander will think this is ok as he or she has seen this too many times.

This is a good point and it doesn't end at the school educational system but also most parts of the everyday life of someone with weak character, as described in the post above yours. In Sweden, for example, there are bloggers with huge impact on people, mostly between the ages 15-30, but also beyond that. It doesn't matter what these bloggers say or write, as people with weak character will listen to them blindly. An example would be Lady Dahmer (google, use page translation) who dresses her da…

I see what you're implying. I know I'm doing the exact same thing as the type of feminists I dislike, hence why I'm asking for help with arguments against the group-shaming type of feminism. Sorry for flairing the post incorrectly. The problem has also been that whenever I speak of pro-men issues, the people I talk to never bother to listen. It's like I need to break down their anti-man/feminism arguments before they actually start to listen.

I'd tldr it like this: I'm annoyed by women who's lives are almost perfect (like I consider my own life) and yet, somehow, they still find something to complain about and blame it on society, the patriarchy and men as a whole. This is accepted nation wide. Even within our government it's ok to be disrespectful towards men. Yet, arguing against their bullshit is taboo. I wouldn't say I've been mind cucked at all. I completely agree. I work at a large international company which is focusing on equality and in my IT-department I constantly see women being offered manager or higher ranking positions before their male colleagues, just to even out a non-existent gap. They're also payed equally, if not more, to even out the wage gap. Even without experience or education. I've seen them be shitty at their job and still get a pussy pass, while their male co-workers get fired instantly. The problem is that one of…
