…dude. Take a break and come back and read this comment in a month.

Idk for me a guy asking me how many people I’ve slept with is very crude and rude. Gentlemen don’t ask ladies that. And even 1 is too much for any man. He’s obviously never going to respect you. He keeps ditching you and probability panics about regular sex supply and asks you back. And you just comply. You BOTH decided to sleep together on the first date. You don’t mention his count. Idky youd want to be stuck in this toxic cycle.

Yea, I avoided using this word but yes, it seems abusive to me.

Yes please i meant that as a sister. I understand what you are going through. Please hold your head high and believe in yourself.

Dude. He sent you back, then he told your father he wont marry you and then he cancelled your return ticket. Why do you still want to be with this man?

From my understanding he has really manipulated you. You are blaming yourself for this entire situation. Read what you have written in a month or so (after you’ve taken a break from him) and you will realize this as well. You will find who is meant for you. Stop being desperate. You acted honorably and as a good woman. Sometimes we do a lot for the wrong person. Some people are just lessons. Let it go. If he wanted to marry you, you’d be married to him not making posts on Reddit. Don’t waste mor…

Wow. The manipulation. These are all excuses btw. And he kept upping the complexity of the excuses lol.

Umm his behavior is very immature for a 34 year old. I personally think - from reading what you wrote - that he is keeping you as an option. I dont think you were ungrateful. You were a good, caring woman. You are 25 and you are going back for Masters, you have time to find a good man. He told your FATHER he has no plans of marrying you, what else are you waiting for? I believe in patience and giving people chances but I would cut my losses with this man. He clearly does not appreciate or respec…

Yea and why couldn’t he influence his friends to not engage in prostitution.

Idk what it says about me that two boys I’ve known/was attracted to were obsessed with insta girls and dabbled in OF. It gave me pretty shit self esteem in return because I am your typical nerdy, “alpha” female (think Hermione Granger), and I’d rather die than become an insta baddie. I think you are right about low self esteem. From what i could gather, these men were also emotionally unavailable and had maladaptive ambitions. They had no positive concept of love and relationships.

Wow. Not OP but thank you for this comment. It’s really resolved some issues in my head haha. With this line of thinking, what does it say about a man if he’s majorly into instagram and OF girls? What is his self valuation?

Bad idea. If it doesn’t work out, you will be embarrassed at your work place and never taken seriously. I would never risk my social standing like this. If he pursues you, that’s one way this could work. Let him pursue you entirely. Otherwise let it be. Don’t risk your reputation.

You are right, men have always admired and appreciated me - but from AFAR. I should be myself even harder. Thank you.

Dude, this is exactly what I am actively researching ever since our friendship ended. I really believe she has NPD. Another comment also picked up on her sabotaging my decisions. It's amazing how you guys are picking up on things from a Reddit post which took me 8 years to see. She was actually a one-off friend I made. My med school and childhood circles are full of normal, good people. All the men I have dated in the past 3 years have been nice and kind men. This is something I am actually prou…

Your further comments change things. I think you are in better shape than what I originally saw. Thank you for the recognition haha. And yes, I completely agree that someone has to know my autistic side for it to work long term. It's something I am aware of and not insecure about. I have Aspergers so it allows me to be pretty successful professionally. I just for the life of me cannot play social games and that's my only handicap I believe. Which is why I asked this question in the post. But it …

I agree. Especially with the embarrassment part. When her male friends would come around, she would act like he was some burden she was tagging along. I felt really bad for him and had to step in to not let him be completely sidelined.

I don't want her relationship at all. While I respect her boyfriend and even have a good opinion of him, he isn't my type at all. | Also, a masculine man would never tolerate a woman degrading him. Not a chance. 100%. And I only want a masculine man.

Haha after our friendship ending, I'm recognizing a LOT of such instances. It's amazing how everyone else can see it from so far so quickly.

Men bear enough burden on their shoulders and cannot complain about any of it. Exactly what I believe. Thank you for the vote of confidence!

I would HATE to be or even for anyone to think I am controlling lol Idky I feel it's one of the most unflattering and unnecessary things to be.

Well, her bad manners got around to me as well. It was sort of inevitable. She acted cruel towards me. It's something I'm processing nowadays, which is why I had to make this post haha.

|Unless they have some BDSM-esque dynamic going on, it isn't normal. Haha you know, I earnestly considered this. It could be true. | You need to find a better set of friends. I do have a lot of other friends who are more normal. And I removed her from my life. | This is probably the main reason you have had a tough time finding someone, not men being conservative. Actually, unless I state it, no one really figures anything is "wrong" or off with me. I mask pretty well, and have never had any soc…

I think both the things are correct in his case. He did grow up very abused. But he really appreciates her honesty and loyalty.

Thats exactly how I conduct myself! Men have loved me and treated me like a princess but I just can’t seem to find one on the same path and geography as me haha. Shes not my friend anymore! I believe the guy she is with is actually very good. But I could be wrong. They have a house together and been together for 4 years idk if that counts as long term. Shes also an antinatalist so men seeking families are out of the question.

Hmm Idk if he’s a beta or not. And yes, he’s the main provider. Which is why I don’t think he’s a beta but idk. He’s good with money. I also have a good opinion of him. Yes, that’s what I also feel, that even if I did start acting like this (I literally can’t be mean or disrespectful unless absolutely necessary) I just wouldn’t be able to respect a man who’d tolerate such disrespect from me.

No, it wasn’t playful at all. And yes, I agree men appreciate bluntness.

Hey how to bring up marriage on the first date without sounding desperate etc?
/r/RedPillWomen09/04/22 01:58 AM

Depends on the dude tbh. If he’s like those losers who have a new interest every month I’d move on. But if this was just one thing he failed at, I’d support him 100% through it. Your post is so specific btw. Also have you ever watched FRIENDS? One of the main characters Monica dates a tech millionaire who follows a sudden interest in MMA/boxing and keeps losing. She breaks up w him because she “can’t see him hurt himself so much”.

"my own brother tells me that i am intimidating because of being although very respectfully but very outspoken, successful and confident." - you just reinforced my opinion; HVM are not intimidated by HVW.

Girl I’m from a similar culture and there are no HVM in such a setting. Sorry. He probably chose the girl who his parents (especially mother) would like more.

They love living under the illusion that they have multiple options. When reality is they have multiple women disappointed in them lol. I had a guy string me along for 8 months, I was pretty stupid then lol but looking back he’s literally the most low value of all the men I’ve ever dated while also being the one who treated me the worst 🤷🏽‍♀️
