Just wanted to acknowledge your bewilderment and disbelief at what’s going on. People change. Sorry about the folks being overly critical about your word choices. It sucks that the people we shared so much history and special bonds with can suddenly just block all that out and do a complete180. It’s challenging to get your head around. Hopefully you can start to work on building a new life for yourself and kids.

How long were you married? Why did you get divorced? Any kids?

My ex who eventually cheated would just say it was getting too deep for her if we went beyond surface level. She was a very resentful person who was very light and smiley on the outside

Try not to be so hard on yourself, you loved her and thats not a weakness. True love can’t just evaporate. However just because you love someone, doesn’t mean you have to be around them / like what they’re doing or be their doormat. She’s lost a real one, hopefully life will demonstrate that to her over and over again. It’s bloody hard to deal with, sorry you’re going through this

In my book cheating is a no no period. We should never make excuses for it, mature people use their words or simply leave, that said thanks for sharing your viewpoint

Will be praying for you. This path we’re on is not for the faint hearted, 🥵in my experience, church can be very hit and miss at dealing with this level of chaos. Its a lone journey for the most part, but perhaps that's the point.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
