Haha fair enough, mate. If you don't have any mainstream hobbies or interests, it would be counterproductive and ridiculous to manufacture an interest just to meet women. I'm going to salsa later, and the amount of guys that are clearly there for the women .. who have absolutely no interest in salsa whatsoever .. is obvious and kind of pathetic. But I'm glad that you found something that works for you. I got success on dating apps so it was harder for me to let them go. And when I did I learnt t…

It's good that they work for you then, mate. And it's pretty black or white thinking to assume that the only alternative is to pretend you care about cooking just to meet someone. My biggest issue with dating apps is that these days they've become a crutch. Antisocial people sit in their gaming chairs swiping with no social skills. But if that's doesn't apply to you, then go for it.

You're playing emotional games instead of being real with her. Eventually this will and should bite you in the ass. You will never grow up otherwise.
/r/seduction24/10/25 07:09 AM
2

Yeah could be an issue logistically but not necessarily if you're willing to travel.

It gets worse. Most men have low volume, but extrapolate big lessons from their experiences that are completely false. I've worked with many men who believe they are broken, unattractive, not tall enough etc because of a single opportunity that went nowhere 2 years ago. It's insane.

Facebook events. Meetup.com Follow cool venues on Instagram (they often post updates) Even run your own events (contextual status is very attractive for women).

If it's working for you and it's making you the kind of man you want to be with the life you enjoy, why change it? I just didn't like what apps were doing to me even though I was very conventionally "successful" .. my best version doesn't use apps.

There are a few in Lisbon (where I live). Storytelling and public speaking events where people show up and tell stories. It's amazing.

I think it definitely helps to live in a city. But other than that I don't really see much of an obstacle provided you're within driving distance.

That's been my experience honestly.

Brilliant comment. I actually once had a woman I met from a dating app tell me "You look way better than your pictures on Bumble." even though my pictures were good. That's when the penny dropped. Dating apps warp men's perceptions of themselves and I absolutely hate it.
/r/seduction21/10/25 03:44 PM

IMO if that's the ONLY motivation, still needy behaviour mate. In that scenario, female validation is the only reason you're at that dance class.
/r/seduction21/10/25 03:42 PM

I do. Social dancing is awesome. Gets me out of my head.

To be honest, a ton of the meetups I've gone to have been free. A coffee in the local coffee shop (where I met my girlfriend) was like 2 euros. I would say the highest expense was cocktail bars. But I don't go there anymore. Dance classes they aren't too expensive either. I don't use class pass. I just go to whichever meetups I like to that week.

If you don't have enough money to do these things, then fix that first. Not for women but for you.
/r/seduction21/10/25 11:32 AM

Absolutely. Also, fabricating interests just to meet women is needy behaviour.
/r/seduction21/10/25 11:15 AM

I get your point. But for me, physical attractiveness is not the only thing I'm looking for, and I don't believe men put themselves in a good position by only optimising for this. My ideal woman is not spending her time getting drunk in bars.
/r/seduction21/10/25 10:43 AM

It's everything. The red flags in this man are way too numerous to go into.
/r/seduction21/10/25 10:08 AM

Honestly I don't really go to them anymore since I don't drink.

Met a woman in my local coffee shop. Been dating for a month now. This genuinely wouldn't have happened if I was swiping endlessly like before. And she's a much better match for me than anything I would have found on a dating app. I genuinely believe that most men are way more attractive in real life. Their lack of success on dating apps has given them a warped view of their own attractiveness.

I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you, and would guess that most men in your circle wouldn't either (if they knew what was good for them). I would make a specific effort to make sure I never get within a mile of you. If I had a daughter, you are precisely the kind of man I would make it my responsibility to protect her from. You don't need to deep convert more women to solve your problems. You need therapy and an assessment for anti-social personality disorder. Thanks for my daily rem…

Fully agree. It's good to remind ourselves that it's not an addiction, just so we don't needlessly pathologize something. We can trap ourselves just by the emotionally charged language we throw around. Words matter. So yeah. Thanks for the comment.

I just started. I created a Meetup group on meetup.org and ran my first one. Turns out, it was more needed than I thought. Remember, just by bringing men together to talk, you're doing a good job. Anything beyond that is a bonus.

If that's the case, then why are you on a seduction subreddit? Genuine question.

Sorry if it overwhelmed you mate. It's stuff I learned over years but it's better to keep it simple in the beginning. You don't die single. DM me if you want specific help. No pressure ✌🏻

Acceptance doesn't mean condoning or enabling. It doesn't mean being passive either. It just means not inwardly demanding that she be different than what she is. It also means not demanding that you be different than what you are. This way of being is totally compatible with saying no, setting boundaries or even getting out of there if push comes to shove. Totally changed my dating life. Turns out Ekhart Tolle is a master seductionist haha

If you ever need someone to bounce ideas off, send me a PM.
/r/seduction17/01/22 03:29 PM

Thanks mate. I saw that and resonated with it. It's worth doing. 30 days that could potentially change your life. You just have to be proactive with it. It's no use deleting dating apps and playing videos games in your boxers for a month. It's gotta be uncomfortable. Most guys use dating apps as a crutch to avoid the challenge of getting out there and facing potential rejection etc. Go for it. Use these next two weeks as preparation time and go dating app free in February! Good luck brother.

Hahaha thanks mate
/r/seduction10/01/22 06:29 PM

I see your point. For the purposes of a 30-day sprint, I would argue that saying yes to social events is essential for breaking out of your comfort zone though.

Then the problem you have isn't meeting women. You don't need to be a player to be confident with flirting and communicating desire/escalating.

If you live in a big city, creating a meetup group and doing cool shit has worked well for me. Failing that, just go out with the intention of having micro-interactions with people. Say hi to people. Strike up conversations with strangers etc. Simple stuff done repeatedly is best IMO.
/r/seduction10/01/22 02:20 PM

The point is, it's not about the physical as much as some guys think.
/r/seduction10/01/22 01:57 PM

Got to the point where I was having dates every night of the week more or less (I stopped that). Had some long term relationships. Some amazing intimate/sexual experiences. My dating life is exactly what I always wanted pretty much. It used to be a chaotic, frustrating mess. Online dating has always worked well for me. That being said I've done a ton of cold approaching which has also worked fairly well. Now I just live my life and focus on being the best version of myself (excuse the cliche) an…

They can afford to be but it doesn't mean they aren't still looking for passion, intimacy and connection. Reverse the roles. Can you imagine if you had 100 women in your DM's wanting your attention? You'd probably be passive with 90% of those women. The other 10% would be those who REALLY float your boat and you'd invest more time. But the rule still applies, regardless.

Nope. Different women. I'm also not taking advantage. I'm just helping men who are in the same spot I used to be in. I make a living and hope to make the world a little better at the same time. But you've clearly made your mind up about me already so 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's funny because some of my clients are guys who went through that stage and realised that it was making them miserable and lonely. I just hope that guys realise it sooner rather than later.

Great question. It takes time to see how our values align. It's early days yet. Feeling this level of acceptance for someone isn't an immediate sign you should get married IMO. It's just a good sign.

Cracking me up bro 😂 I'm being British as fuck in my responses which basically means being polite to a fault but jesus, man. The attitude of some of these dudes. Comfort is not the same as security. Subtle difference. Comfort is predictability. Boring. Dull and unchallenging. Safety is feeling that she can trust his reality and allow herself to surrender to it...for her benefit and enjoy the process of doing so. He's his own man with his own boundaries. It all comes down to him trusting himself and his own reality. If he doesn't trust it, she NEVER will.

Maybe she is. Maybe she isn't. Why would I allow thoughts like that to circle through my mind? What good would that cause except for making me suspicious which would eventually sabotage things anyway? I don't need her. If I eventually find out she's dishonest then I'll dump her ass. She's given me no reason to doubt her word so why would I just assume by default that she's lying? Is this how you create a good relationship? Just immediately assume she's an asshole?
