Ah yes, in a practical sense for sure. Somebody needs to be the voice of reason!

Being anti-god assumes there's one to be against. Religion is pro-god, and the burden is on them to have a reason for it. We're not born believing in any gods, and many of us just continue on that way forever.

You may very well be right. Anecdotally, the skin improvements are quite evident with high amounts of green veg.
/r/TheRedPill15/11/15 09:26 PM

That's largely due to the hefty amount of vitamin A in green leafy veg. Accutane is just a huge does of vitA.
/r/TheRedPill13/11/15 11:01 PM

Accutane is pretty much just a huge does of vitamin A. Do yourself a favor and just eat kale and sweet potatoes as they are both high in vitamin A. They are a staple in a healthy diet anyway! I dropped complex carbs from my diet and added kale and within a week my skin completely cleared up.

tl;dr don't live your life emotionally attached to things that aren't important. Different strokes for different folks, man. All my shit could get burned to the ground and I wouldn't care in the slightest except for the aggravation of having to get another well tailored wardrobe. There's nothing wrong with owning things, as long as you don't let them own you.

I'd say that sufficiently successful people appear to be lucky in the eyes of the woefully unsuccessful. Those on the bottom of success bell curve can't see the mechanisms that actually vaulted the successful there. Truth. I was recently lambasted in a programming subreddit for saying that people who chose a career path with job prospects (programming) were not lucky. Winning the lottery is lucky. Looking ahead to the see market direction and planning your education accordingly is not.

Not very subtle. It'll be interesting to see if immigration policies change with the coming battle between feminism and islamic culture in western countries.

That really depends on your passion. All technology must be sold to someone at some point, and there's a technical salesman involved in that sale if the deal is large enough. If you pinpoint your passion and have deep knowledge of that field, a little research will suss out who the major players are. Then it's just a matter of knocking down some doors.

You can indeed make an absolute killing over and above just being an engineer. You don't typically carry quota in the role, as that's the responsibility of the account executive, but you still take a share in the killing. If an account executive makes a 50/50 split base/commission, you'll likely make 65/35 or some variation on that. thesalesengineer.com is indeed a good site. I'll edit my main comment with some more information. PM me also if you want to talk further.

I work in the technical sales field. In short, the job entails being an active part of the sales cycle, moving deals forward, but acting more as a technical consultant for the field within which you hold your expertise. Say, for instance, you have a background in computer modelling. With your years of experience, you'd know all the programs, the trends, the gotchas, and be able to describe the field to an interested party. As long as you have the requisite domain knowledge as described above, yo…

Solid post! Ownership should be the #1 goal of every guy in here because it's attainable no matter your background or skill set. There's a career path that may be of interest to some of the more technical guys in TRP as I know a lot of us come from a programming or other tech background. Technical sales is a very good field to be in. You're typically paired with a team of account executives whom you support during all technical parts of the sale. You don't have to initially be as good of a sales…

Not the OP, but drugs when done correctly put you in a different mindset. Whether cocaine, MDMA, or heavy drugs like LSD, your perception of the world is shifted temporarily. I've found that shift immensely useful in discovering what it's like to actual think and behave differently than my normal self. The actions are still mine, and the thoughts still flow from my brain, but they are more 'free' and coming from a different angle than normal. If you actively think about how you're behaving or th…

Right. I see where you're coming from. If the overall effects are at the time unknown, then yes I would agree with you. I would draw the line at subsequent use of the same dosage, however. Once the effects on your physiology are known, you are fully aware what you're getting into and thus shoulder the full responsibility of your actions.

Yes, I believe italcohol would make you less responsible, because the drugalcohol would be somewhat responsible. If she wouldn't cheatdrive drunk, and she does with it, then itthe alcohol is at least somewhat to blame. I disagree with your position fundamentally as she still would have had to make the conscious choice to take the drug. Making that choice makes her responsible for her actions while on the drug.

Do a little bit of what you need to do every single day. Start with 10 minutes, but at least do something. It's super easy to do 10 minutes, but you'll probably fall into a groove and all of a sudden you're an hour in. Do that a few days, a few weeks in a row and all of a sudden you have not only a habit, but a track record of success to keep you dedicated to continued success. Make doing the goal, not necessarily finishing the task, and it'll be a lot easier to stick with it initially as you wi…

Part of the reason for, as you said, 'needing to walk away from what others think' as it applies to your original post is that the examples you chose simply relate well to a few principles of being masculine. That does not necessarily mean that you can take your argument to the conclusion that you can take the same approach to ALL of what feminism espouses. What you've mapped out here does relate well to being masculine, but that's just due to the examples provided. Still, I see the argument you…

The full emotional validation you need to get from yourself. This is perhaps the most difficult part of RP because it requires you to take complete control over your life. It's easy to distract yourself from your feelings by bouncing from woman to woman and receiving intimacy, or perhaps distracting yourself with drugs, or any other numerous ways of filling a void you'd do anything to have filled. It takes a hell of a lot of work to get to the point where you are truly at peace with yourself and…

Fearing criticism and repercussions, really? Surely your self esteem can't be so fragile that criticism stops you from achieving your own personal goals. It's a fact of life that your actions have repercussions. It's a fact of life that you will be criticized. Not really, you seem to have placed a 'y' where there should be an 'a'. If you are using Dvorak, you were looking for the key one row down and four keys over. If you are using QWERTY, you were looking for the key one row down and five keys over. If you were spelling alphabetically, you were looking for the letter twenty-four letters to the right. While that will work on stability, it won't do much of anything for your strength as compared to heavy lifting. Unless you have a medical problem with your back, you really shouldn't worry about your back while lifting if you keep proper form. Don't worry about lifting freeweights. Sure, you might start off light but just get your form down and you will be surprised at how quickly your body will let you lift heavier and heavier weights.

Not exclusively. Some things are better than others. Being in shape is better than being out of shape, etc.

It's not changing who you are. It's making yourself better on all fronts.

Hmm... I was a relative weakling when I started as well. How much do you weigh? I'm an average dude/average build and after a while I was up to 3 45s a side. Don't despair. You say it hurts your back. I couldn't do much weight at all because I felt like my back was pinching somehow. I worked on my form and it went away no problem and I could start lifting proper weights. Also, I agree with edubation. Do 3-5 and eat more.

If you gave her a reason at all, this would have been a fantastic one.

I closed it as soon as she started talking. Anyone who says 'okay' in that tone of voice instantly becomes a non-entity to me

I agree absolutely. There is, however, a point where you care for someone so much that you choose to ignore your other desires so you don't hurt them. I don't mean to say that people aren't incapable of monogamy, just that it's really hard for some.

If this is what you think then you completely misunderstood what I wrote. I'm not arguing for them TO cheat, i'm pointing out that by their very nature, they are predisposed to it. We all are.

Sure, women choose the most successful man they can, but it doesn't stop them from getting nailed on the side by an even more successful man after she is already in a relationship. Women are hypergamous, through and through. It's a biological imperative for them.

Think of the heroes that litter our past. These are the men I think of.

Sure, there's no exact way to 'be a man', but great men all share common characteristics. These are the traits we should aim to emulate.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
