It's only about abortion.

I'm with you. I believe gender roles are based on biology. When you have different motivations and different consequences you get different behavior. I never have liked or agreed with the MRA when they say we need to abolish traditional gender roles. Each couple should decide for themselves.

just to be clear, your brother is going for full custody, right? which will make him the primary parent and her with visitation (if she is fit for that). if he is not, he should be.

tell him to document every little bit, even if he thinks he may not need it. If he has an attorney, his attorney can tell him what evidence to present, but NEVER throw anything away. If she uses social media, screen shot everything that would help support his testimony. At the same time tell him to shut down his social media. From now on, he should assume that all of their communications will be presented in court, so he needs to make sure he comes across as the mature and rational one. no name …

I kind of agree with your sentiment, but as others have indicated, it would be impossible to enforce. BTW the insemination was done at home without the assistance of a doctor or clinic and the women already had 8 children together.

Most usernames and comments are gender ambiguous, so I dont know how you know which comments are from women. I see supportive comments to be from both genders or gender ambiguous people. Same with negative comments.

OK, that gives me a better perspective. Your OP says you already once reached out to him and apologized for your original response and offered a more sensitive response. So you are asking if you should do it again. Personally, I think for most once is enough for you to bring up, instead I would follow his lead and only talk about if he brings it up or if the conversation naturally leads to where it is easy to segue into his rape. But you know your friend best, go with your gut instinct.

How old are you now and how long has it been since you have spoken to him? I think it would be kind of weird to suddenly get contacted by an old aquaintance about a sensitive subject.

Try looking at it from who has the better VP on their ticket, and what party do you support for your state elections. After Trump or Hillary serves, the VP is likley to be the next president. The president also promotes from within their own party. I dont like ot admit is publicly, but I am voting Trump and I would like to see Pence get in the white house afterwards. So, I guess you could say I am thinking ahead and about how this upcoming president will effect things 4 to 8 years down the line.

Lets assume your ex-girlfriend and her husband have been living complete separate lives, not living together nor sleeping together for many months before conception. She dates you, becomes pregnant and now you leave the country. This is what I think will likely happen. The baby will be born and she will apply for assistance. The application will ask about her marital status, but if her husband and her both have the same story, that he cannot be the father and the girl puts out your name as the f…

First decide if you want to establish paternity, if the answer is yes, then insist on a DNA test. I think your question is about timing, if you are not around, then how does the husband get off the hook? This may be more complicated and probably depends on many things like what state you are in, how cooperative and forthcoming the wife and husband are and the judge. I think you are correct that the state wont let any time lapse where no one is the father, but you have to get it taken care of ASA…

There have been situations like this where the husband got off the hook for child support and the bio father got on birth certificate and supported the child. The husband had to divorce the wife. The divorce has to be done ASAP. What the courts don't allow is for the husband to play father for a year or so AND THEN decide he wants out.

So OP was either ignorant of what could happen or didn't care. Even though I think it is unfair that husbands are the legal fathers to all children born to their wives, he should have given it some thought before he participated. He accepted the risk. Ignorance is no excuse in my book. What is OP doing to make sure none of his female partners get pregnant and has he discussed that scenario with his wife, and is he aware of child support laws so he cant claim, he had no idea if things go down tha…

I think MRA's are a political mix, and it has been stated many times that MRA as a whole does not take any political sides, but individuals are free to discuss and support what they want. I personaly am supporting Donald Trump over Hillary, not enthusiasticly but as the lesser of two evils. I have never thought the MRA is enthusisaticly pro-Trump.

just off the top of my head: special women only hours at public pools, private health clubs, child custody, and some jobs advertise that women and minorities get priority for hiring, more laws that are gendered to favor women (VIWA), more educational scholarships available for women, the whole campus rape thing favors women, etc.

simple answer: NO. child support and visitation do not change because the child refuses to visit. 16 is a tough age to get kids to do anything, and teens tend to be selfish. If I were you I would play it cool with your teen. Call him often, let him know you are thinking about him. It is understandable that he would want to spend his free time with his girlfriend. Paternity tests are available in the hospital upon request. I'm not sure if they test the mother if it is done immediately after birth, as it seems they would not have any suspicions of the baby being switched. But paternity test which are used in court, test all 3, the mother, father and baby, and the total cost is around $400-$500.

Oh. My bad. I thought you were referring to Judy Allard, who is the mother who shamed her sons. I see now that Suzanne Venker is Schlafly's niece.
/r/MensRights21/09/16 04:47 AM

How do you know she is her niece? I clicked on your link and it was an article on Schlafly, but I didnt see any indication of family members.
/r/MensRights21/09/16 03:08 AM

Google Jody Allard's name and you will see that in Washington state there has been a warning about her adopting animals and then dumping them. She is accused of animal abuse. and if you read one of her articles about CPS, at the very end she says her ex-husband has called CPS on her and the accusation was MCA (Medical Child Abuse) which is a form of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. All 7 of her kids seem to have medical, health and emotional disorders.
/r/MensRights20/09/16 11:13 PM
2

I hope they make it out. At least one son has a history of depression and suicide, according to other articles the mother has written. She is single mother of 7 children, all seem to have medical, health or mental problems. An ex-husband has formally accused the mother of MCA (Medical Child Abuse, a form of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy)
/r/MensRights18/09/16 06:59 PM
1

Google her and read her past article about CPS trying to take kids away. An agency in Seattle wrote a report about her accusing of animal neglect and also mentioned that CPS has been called on her in the past. At the end of her CPS article she admits that she has been accused of MCA (Medical Child Abbuse, a form of Munchausen Syndrome by proxy) by her ex-husband.
/r/MensRights18/09/16 08:59 AM

She actually has a history of animal neglect and has been reported to child protective services. Google her name. Her ex husband made a formal complaint accusing her of "medical abuse" of a child which is a a type of Munchausen Syndrome by proxy.

I just googled authors name and a "Ripoff Report" popped up about her past history of animal neglect and past reports to child protective services. The title is misleading and details are missing. The football team has never said that this incident had anything to do with Robinson's dismissal, they said mutiple things led to his dismissal. Robinson was never really eligible to play college football as it was discovered that his high school transcripts had been forged. it was this case I was think of. It was actually 9 kids: http://www.nbcnews.com/id/26887181/ns/us_news-life/t/father-abandons-kids-under-safe-haven-law/#.V9lwJREwijs It was this case that initiated change in safehaven laws around the country to be restricted to babies. A few years after this case, the man went on to conceive twins with his girlfriend.
/r/MensRights14/09/16 03:45 PM

I don't think this would ever work. The mother is not just going to sit back after her newborn baby disappears with the father. Safehaven babies are always broadcast in the media so that either parent can claim them. Yes, fathers have used safehavens. There is a famous case of a father dropping off 5(?) kids. Mother was deceased. There is no reason for anyone to see or interact with person dropping off baby, typically a doorbell would be rung, and baby would be left. Fathers can rescue their bab…

Hospital accidentally sends out wrong babies, social uproar. Women deliberately fraud men of their money, bloodline, emotions and time with paternity fraud... and it's "legally complicated". Agreed. According to United Nations agreement often refered to as "rights of the child" all children are entitled to a correct birth certificate. Women should be prosecuted if they deliberately withold information or write in incorrect information.

Because we make laws and policies based on reasonable expectations. It is not reasonable to expect someone who borrows your apple paring knife to go out and kill someone with it, but it is reasonable to expect that having sex may cause pregnancy. And people have been held responsible when they have given weapons to people who went out and committed crimes because it could be proven that the person who supplied the weapon knew or should have known it was going to be used in a crime.

This is pretty common tactic in Texas, getting a modification without the other party knowing. whats supposed to happen vs what actually happens varies . I've seen women take their exes to court and purposely give the wrong address of the party they are suing so that the other party is never notified. One really disturbing aspect to this case: The child support and visitation schedules were "modified" without the father's knowledge. You are only getting the fathers side of the story. Public records indicate the father had full knowledge of the modifications.

from an article on Jason Patric case: Sitting beside Schreiber was her lawyer Patty Glaser who explained why the "facts, the law" and "common sense" are on her client's side in this case. "The law in California could not be clearer. He had an opportunity prior to the conception of this child to say, 'I want to be the dad.' He said 'no.' He not only said 'no,' he said, 'I want to keep it a secret.' And then right before the child was born, maybe four or five days before the child was born, he say…

Why the downvotes? It's an honest question. Who pays? I think paternity tests are wise and I think most men should do them. However, no man should be forced to have a medical test involving his DNA for a child he is willing to accept as his own, so it has to be voluntary, which I beleive it already is.

it is Jason Patric who wrote her a letter early in the process stating he did not want to be a father. He says he changed his mind and it was then understood that he would be a father, but he didn't want anyone to know he was the father. So do we go by his written word, or not? The "intended parent" document he speaks of is with the clinic and not an agreement with the mother, I don't think it outlines his parenting role or rights. She was not his girlfriend when they decided to do the artificial insemination, they had broken up. If it is the story I am thinking of, it is the state coming after the father, not the mother(s). One of the mothers has been out of work and has aplied for social benefits of some sort, promting the state to seek support from the father. Also he went to their house and handed them a cup of his sperm. It was not done in a clinic.

Also have your friend save all text messages and all communications. It's very telling that you say she is "threatening to move out of state". The state the child is conceived in and the state where the parents are established can be used as the jurisdiction to manage the case, and the local court can order her not to leave. also if it is proven that the mother is interfering with the father's ability to have a relationship with the child will not look good for her. Your friend should contact an attorney, father's rights groups, and/or child protective services. One of these groups should be able to give your friend some advise and possibly get it so she can't leave the state. I know it has been done in other cases. Also he should be advised as to best protect his rights as I believe it is best to make your intentions known early. Of course a paternity test is also always good advice. I assume you have a parenting plan which allocates which spouse declares the children for tax purposes. I remember discussing this during our negotiations and it was given to my ex-husband. I am not sure about how things work in every state, but in mine you can avoid court* without the use of a mediator and I assume other states are similar. Your pre-nup would serve as your guide and you and your wife would fill out how you want things in a "post-nup". Carkudo, you have more risk of your female partner leaving you for a more successful male, not so much for a sexier male. She also has the risk of you leaving her for a more sexually attractive female. The older a woman gets the less she will be able to attract a succesful male. Men tend to want the most attractive partner and women tend to want the most succesful partner. Women only have a limit shelf life to meet their goal, men do not. It is all part of biology and I doubt you will get around…

I personally know of a case and have read about others in the past. I just googled it and came up with multiple examples. Google the words "mother jailed for interfering with visitation" and you will see that it happens.

Hypergamy can work in men's favor and often does. Men usually want to fuck with the top women (based on her attractiveness) and women want the top men (based on his success). Men have their whole adult lives to move up into the top bracket and it is based on their accomplishments and these accoplishments often benefit all of society, but women only have a few years (from about 17 to 30) and they have to be born with good looks (plastic surgery can only do so much). Hugh Hefner is not complaining…

State laws seperate visitation from child support. The cusodial parent has to honor the parenting plan in regards to visitation wether the non custodial parent is honoring their support obligation or not. If a father is not getting access to his child, he needs to inform the courts. Mothers have been jailed for failing to abide by parenting plans, although they usually get several warnings. So this father needs to keep paying support. He needs to keep attempting to see his child and document and…

it mentions that a small sample was available for the interview and they were asked open ended questions about pregnancy intentions. It also mentions this "Although the women had diverse backgrounds and experiences, a common theme was turmoil in their lives. Few lived in intact families, most had moved recently, many had not attended school regularly prior to becoming pregnant and a large majority depended on public assistance, at least to pay the medical costs of their pregnancy (Table 2)." So …

Good for you! Many women will thank you! any man who knows he does not want children should do the same instead of bitching about having no control.

There is no legal requirement in any state requiring spousal permission for tubal ligation or vasectomy. However, both men and women have reported individual doctors deciding to implement spousal permission requirements or that spouses attend informative appointments. The doctors may have good intentions, but many patients feel it is an invasion of privacy. If anyone comes accross a doctor requiring this, I would say find another doctor. My friends who have had vasectomies have never come across…

And sometimes fathers walk out. You don't have enough info to decipher if the mother was witholding time with the father or if the father has moved out of reach of the child. Many fathers are granted liberal time with their children, but don't ever show up.

Some of you are jumping to conclusions that mother has cut out the father. Perhaps the father left the marriage and the child. It's a sad story, children need their fathers. With the info given I cannot assume either parent is significantly more at fault compared to the other.

If I were your future wife or your future kids, I would want you to do what you can now to have a low support order established, and then GTFO and have no contact ever again. uh...23 yo female here. I would never consider dating a guy who ditched his kid. My friends feel the same way. Also how could your future kids trust you as their dad if they know how easily you run out, plus they are likley to make contact with their "lost" sibling. Single fathers are sexy!!

It's not normal, but woman can release two eggs within the same cycle, it often happens within a short duration of time before the first egg is fertilized because egg release is triggered by hormone levels. If two eggs enter the fallopian tubes during the same cycle they can be fertilized with different sperm cells. Sperm can live in a vagina for several days. Because an egg spends several days in the fallopian tubes (usually conception happens between the 1st and 5th day in the fallopian tube).…

All woman I know are for male birth control and can hardly wait for it to be a reality. If i ever go to non-MRA sites to dicuss male birth control it is often the men who are skeptical about it, not the women. That may be hard for MRA to understand, but it is what I see.

PE has an incredibly large ego. I believe he is aware his statements aren't based on logic or reason, but he loves the attention they create. He's probably hoping some big name media gets a hold of the story, or at least a feminist site so he can start a debate with them. and then draw more attention to himself and his website. His outrages headlines and his quotable statements tend to be self serving. I don't pay much attention to his site.
