Totally agree. I'm a gentlemen when it comes to women and I think it's a great quality to have, and one thing I'd never change about myself. I'm talking "nice guy" in how the community defines it, as someone who has a harder time asserting themselves or being congruent (stemming from not wanting to hurt others, fear or rejection, etc.)

Okay makes sense. I don't think you have to say much, 90% of the time she just wants someone to hear her out. Personally I don't think it's something you should bring up unless she does. Obviously if she brings it up you should listen to her intently, but do this because she's a human and we want to be treated that way too. but I don't think you need to be her therapist about it either. Just go on with your relationship as it had gone already and it sounds like you've been doing a good job so don't let this psych you out :)

Fucking spot on dude. I always put so much emphasis on polarizing women to get them attracted and if it wasn't working out or she had a BF I would internally think "I definitely still have a chance" haha. Not always the case. Before long I realized I didn't have many female friends because I had no practice in that department. Yeah I understand that and I see that as a possibility too. My point was mainly just that people could have chosen to be close next to me (like most other people cramped at the club) but because I commanded my space they potentially they viewed the area as mine and out of respect left me be.

I know dude, I fucked up. We tore apart her bedroom looking for one. I usually bring one but I was told a day at the conference that there's no chance in hell I would get laid here because there's so many guys that I didn't even think to bring one out. I guess what I was trying to convey is that it wasn't the content of what I was saying that was building attraction, it was my body language and what I was communicating to her subconsciously. In no way do I believe this was a "perfect pickup". I do agree with that asking more meaningful questions will lead me to a better understanding of the person I'm talking to and ultimately will lead to a more personal connection. Thank you!

Thanks for the input. To be fair, I've seen numerous videos where the guys at RSD will walk up to a girl and just start hugging them. There's a video floating around somewhere of Tyler talking to a girl and she tells him she has a boyfriend and he just fuckin kisses her five seconds later. I'm sure if I was a little more congruent I could have pulled it off but I won't know until next time I try it
