Its funny they dont even read the graphs alot of the times they look at the one that rates “% of women who report their marriage to be VERY HAPPY” But this doesnt count people who are just happy in their marriages? 😂 Since when do we count out people who are content in statistics

I’ve been through this, tried dating a PhD student. When you find the guy who sees your value and cherishes you he wont make a big deal out of these fundamental things like your spirituality and having trauma. A man who is valuable is one that is generous to you, who is kind to you. Just because they have all these assets doesn’t mean they’re gonna mean much to you if he’s not willing to devote himself to you. Keep looking sister he’s out there 💕 Edit- Yes I would suggest saving trauma for a cou…

i will give up my career for a family lol, but i feel like i need a husband first. still tho mental ilness runs in the family so i dont know if i truly want kids or if its sort of an urge idk bc my mom regretted having a family early and wishes she would have pursued a career and honestly she is not the motherly type i can see that. of course if i meet the right person im willing to take the chance and have kids but i really do need to meet the right person otherwise the mental illness might not…

That’s a good idea… i’ll stay on the lookout although many of the scholarships are for specific people where i may not fit the criteria. But there are some yes. And I suppose summer jobs can help… I think i’m just getting scared by the fast paced stages i feel pressured to pursue on this path

Thanks, I didn’t really think of it like that until now. Yeah I can see how that could be bad in the long run

I'm in Canada so I get some coverage from the government, but the debt would be 2x if i were to continue. my parents have "offered" to help pay, but it is extremely tentative and they have a tendency to twist what they have said or change their minds. At the same time they can be quite generous and supportive (on their terms). I will make a plan for both possibilities Yeah what i fear is that the stress of law school might change me into someone i am not or encourage certain traits in myself tha…

That's what I was thinking yeah, maybe I could stick it out, maybe I could somehow get my parents to be supportive of working instead of being in school

No that's not what i meant. I wanted to ask RPW because I didn't believe I would get understanding advice about wanting a husband and in light of other aspects of attraction that other subreddits might not acknowledge... I think that's a good idea but usually career counsellors are quite passive or dont understand the toxic family situation ..

Love this, thats what i was thinking. if i see it long term then even more incentive to be my true self early. i love these things. :)

Thank you this is solid advice!! definitely will try to be more grateful around chivalrous stuff and will definitely ask more about stuff related to feminism.. what kind of politics should i go into with him? i’ll keep looking at what he does to see what happens and if hes the right guy :)

True, good point... I tend to just dive headfirst into things like this LOL Hopefully he does start talking about it i guess, man these things take so much patience

That's very fair, I don't think he's spending a bunch of money anywhere possibly card games in the past but I dont think he does anymore. He never asks for gas money or anything even if i offer, and he pays here and there so maybe it would be fine, I just get major insecurity about this stuff and feel like I'm not "woman enough" or haven't chose right because of stupid tiktoks and other stuff

Thank you, I feel like I've basically implied it enough (besides the marriage part) by saying i wanted something long-term. I don't think he's dating me for fun, especially considering he'd move to my school's city for a year for me. I feel like it's so awkward to talk about finances, I was thinking of just hinting at it but I might start with asking if he's ever had a job or where he gets the money tbh. And then like maybe go from there, it's a bit overwhelming this small little thing haha. T…

Thank you :) That is great to hear… I’m so split because on one hand I’d love to enjoy life and make money but I feel like I can’t relate to people like others can and feel I could meet likeminded people in an environment where we could all become closer…? Then im scared being a lawyer would make dating difficult bc i dont want an imbalanced relationship… but i dont know if i’d regret not going? Im talking to guys on tinder at the moment (i know not great place) and im just like damn, what if th…

Ya Its just very deeply ingrained for me to not make them upset or disappointed in me, especially for something big like this. But ofc it makes no sense given our relationship

Interesting, but how can i differentiate an insecure man from someone who wants a sahm? 😵‍💫 I definitely dont wanna end up with someone insecure yes, maybe law school can help with that lol
/r/RedPillWomen09/06/22 04:12 AM

You make a good point there. I guess there were a couple of red flags (actually a lot), the point of insecurity for me is whether he was looking for a sahm i suppose. Ugh its like i read another comment and my mind makes another 180😵‍💫

Let me let you in on a little secret: Law school sux. You could walk around with a DSM-5 and play “Mental Dysfunction Bingo” with both your classmates AND professors. LOLL Thank you for the insight. Are all law schools like that or... Yeah my mom was like they'll help but i'm still getting loans so i'd be staying with her after until I pay off debt (ugh). I'm not sure what you're saying at the end, are you talking about the type of law u chose?

I get I could take a break, question is where would i go? my parents will probably be furious and i dont want to stay with them. I need to secure a job and im not good at restaurant because i tend to lose those jobs. I do have three months to find one which is good! I just gotta get through the discomfort of telling them :’)

Thank you, I think the stress of undergrad got to me during third and fourth year because it felt aimless (psych major) and i was unsure of job prospects. I feel like if i go to law school I will feel more purpose in studying since i can get a good job out of it which will really help but of course there’s still the mental burden. I’m just bummed out that guys compare themselves to me and it just changes the dynamic. I also i guess want a more laid back job, but maybe i think that because i have…
